Summary: A CLASSIC INDEPENDENT WESTERN!
Review: I'd say this movie is for those who love Westerns and those who love real American independent Cinema.

As a Western this film follows in the tradition of the Clint Eastwood westerns, but it delivers something more resonant than all but the Unforgiven. Jon Jacobs is Iconic as the brooding gunslinger. I'd love to see a prequal.

As an American Independent film made amidst the renaissance of the last decade. The Wooden captures the essence of the artform,
there is clearly nothing infront of the camera or behind it, beyond the bare essentials needed to tell this story; A barren landscape, horses, guns, fresh faces, a camera and a handful of lights.

Something about the Spirit of this film touched me deeply. I've got it on my shelf between Dead Man and The Unforgiven

Summary: Good Times in the Wild Wild West!
Review: This flick reminded me of the film El Mariachi. A simple story about good and evil, heroes and anti-heroes, life and death, justice and crime, all that cool stuff that make for a good Sergio Leone-esque Western. Stars and filmmakers Jon Jacobs and Michael Kastenbaum are in top form for this gunslinging action packed romp. Let's all look forward to seeing these dudes more on the big screen.
