Summary: Surprised by movie
Review: Although I bought this movie only to get a better glimpse of Alicia Coppola (who's career is hard to follow today), I was surprised by the quality of the movie. The action scenes were good, the dialogue wasn't cheezy overdone sci-fi blabber, the effects were terrific, and the overall production was good. If you like sci-fi, check it out! Or check out ufofilm.com for more info on the movie and others!

Summary: Suprisingly Entertaining
Review: Heres a movie I thought would be a waste of time. To my suprise the story is interesting and character setup was good. There were some funny parts, some that dragged and some that rocked. A suprisingly entertaining film for the Sci/Fi enthusiast.

Summary: Comedy in Space
Review: I bought this movie for Jorja Fox (Pallas), but I found it to be an entertaining romp through space. It was an old western polished up for the 90's, and I enjoyed it all the way. I also picked up the DVD, and found the additional information to be very helpful. I'd rate the movie higher if it wasn't so formulaic.

Summary: B-Movie Action/Sci-Fi Fun
Review: Is Phil Roth the next James Cameron? Probably not, but I had fun watching this DVD. If you listen to the alternate audio track, you'll discover why the gratuitous fight takes place in the opening scene. Other than that, this story is much more a thinking man's action flick than a plain B-grade shoot 'em up. All things considered, a very decent effort by all.

Summary: Velocity Trap - Entertaining Space Action/Comedy
Review: Olivier Gruner (Nemesis) plays Ray Stokes, a space cop. He is assigned to work on a ship transporting $40 billion in cash, because there is no longer electronic checking, from a space outpost to Earth. Stokes is assigned to this after a framed screw-up at his home space outpost.

The movie has GREAT special effects for the low budget-ness of the movie, approximatly $5 million was the budget. The what i would like to call indoor special effects aren't as good as the space special effects but it is nothing that makes the movie unwatchable and in DVD looks equally good to theatre quality. The acting is in my oppinion Olivier Gruner's best, his character doesn't just say stupid stuff.. his character is a guy you want to root for, and he is comedic at times.

Overall, the movie is a thriller from beginning to end. Not only is it an action movie, it also is a comedy at parts. The DVD is definately for a true Gruner fan, as it has audio commentary throughout the movie.. which is great.

Summary: Entertaining.
Review: This is quite an entertaining film. It doesn't take itself to seriously and has some terrific special effects. In fact, the effects are the main reason for seeing the film. After a good sequence you can't wait for the next one to come along. That said, the sets are pretty cheapo affairs and some of the action (the shootouts) stretch credibility to new lengths. Some of the acting is pretty poor but the main cast members are fine. There are certainly alot worse films to rent.
