Summary: One star is too generous
Review: Bad story, awful dialogue, rehashed film score, dreadful acting, utterly ridiculous costumes, sets conceived via the use of the drug LSD, awful opening credits, an illogical looking batmobile, cliches in overdrive, bad directing...one could write a thesis about what's wrong with this film. Total embarrassement to the Batman mythos that quite possibly a recovery from may not be possible. While none of the Batman films hit the mark, this one misses by a light-year and the comic book's attempt at reworking the charcater as a mature, dark, and slightly disturbed individual are totally undone into a campy flake with this film. If you are expecting a mature and intelligent film, you won't get it. The film is loud, violent, and stupid, all trying to confound you into not realizing that it has no redeeming value whatsoever. The DVD will make a good frisbee.

Summary: This is the coolest movie of all time!
Review: Batman and Robin pulls off what all the others failed to do: turn on the lights! You can see whats going on! Anouther plus is the humor-something often missing from batman movies. The actors to great at thier jobs, at least if you don't mind that they act just like comic book characters. My only problem is that Patrick Stewart should have been Freeze. He would have done even better, I'm sure. Also great is the music-it's the best of all of the series (save maybe Batman Forever.) Batman and Robin ties with Batamn Forever as the best batman (and maybe best movie) of all time. Beleave me, if you liked the early comic books, you'll love this movie.

Summary: AWFUL MOVIE EVEN FOR A BATMAN FILM
Review: I'D like to recommend avoiding BATMAN AND ROBIN because all in all it is just a badly acted film. I mean GEORGE CLOONEY as BATMAN please!!! plus I really couldn't stand ALICIA SILVERSTONE either her acting as well as CHRIS O'DONNELS acting in this film leaves something to be desired too. The only two good things about this film are ARNOLD SCHWARTZENEGGER and UMA THURMAN and they're the only reason this film is'nt a total disaster. JOEL SCHUMACER how could you!!! this movie makes me almost miss MICHEAL KEATON all I have to say is bring back VAL KILMER who in my opinion was the best BATMAN yet.

Summary: Great Diappointment, Movie Could Be Better
Review: In my opinion, Joel did a reasonably good job with Batman Forever. However, with this movie he really blew it. It was a totally LOUSY movie. It was commendable that George Clooney got the idea of lightening up the mood of the character of Batman. After all, like he said, Batman wouldn't want to grieve all the time. It just isn't normal. The BIG problem was that he overdid it, and as a result the Batman we knew in the past was 'transformed' into a clown in this movie. It is indeed great that the next movie is going to be a whole lot darker than this movie. I am sure that all fans of Batman would want to see a darker version of the hero i.e as in Tim Burton's movies. I really miss the subtly moody touch of the first two Batman movies.

Summary: B&R go up against Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy.
Review: A complete waste of time manufactured by executive droids obsessed with making a film product that'll sell products. Had they focused on making a true Batman film they would in turn have had a tremendous hit. It sucks.

Summary: Hands down THE WORST FILM OF ALL TIME!
Review: Oh, good god, this movie is horrible. I saw it (unwillingly) in the theaters and was almost physically ill because it was so terrible. Then I took other people to see it becuase they didn't believe me when I told them how bad it was. Either way, it hammers the final nail in the once-interesting (meaning Tim-Burton-directed) Batman franchise No plot, no good characters, no INTRO for god's sake! The scene in the commercial for the movie when Chris O'Donnell as Robin says, "I want a car. Chicks did the car."? THAT'S THE FIRST LINE OF THE MOVIE! What is going on here?! Then they drive away in the Batmobile and they find out "there's a new villian in town" and that's all the intro they do! But for all the disgustingly bad elements, Arnold Schwarzenegger is by far the worst. He got paid, like, $8 billion to do the movie and he gives the worst performance of all time. Everything he says is some lame ice-related cliche: "ice to see you," "chill out," and the fantastic "you're not putting me in the cooler."

Summary: Great!
Review: The movie was fun to watch with an easy storyline. It also taught a lesson about famaly. Its slightly moving when Alfred oh forget it.I won't spoil the movie for you.The reason I gave it four stars was because the expressions were just a bit anoying and the special effects were sometimes not that great. Summary: George is wonderful, but Arnold is a bit "campy".
Review: I think George Clooney does a wonderful job picking up the role of The Caped Crusader, but the plot does not live up to the fabulous sets. Arnold Schwarzenegger unfortunately had bad luck with his script writer--50% of his lines are really cheesy puns. Uma Thurman did a great job as well as Alicia Silverstone and Chris O'Donnell. Final analysis: Rent, don't buy!

Summary: Holy Bad Movie, Batman!
Review: Don't count me wrong. I am a huge Batman fan and I admire the first good Batman film and the even better Batman Returns. But this film sucks. The atmosphere is lighthearted and peppy, the action in hokey, the performances are BAD, even by action-movie standards (when Oscar performances are not required), and the music score is annoying. On the positive side, the sound and picture are perfect, but who needs them when the film is bad? END

Summary: Campy snorefest kills Dark Knight series
Review: We all remember the campy 60's Batman show and the pathetic film that followed. It is unfortunate that Joel Schumacher doesn't remember the show bombing out after a short three years. I can tell you why that show failed. It was lame!!! Now over thirty years later, top execs at Warner Bros. came together in a room and decided to revive that horrifying show(they must have been blind and deaf as children-- this would explain why they thought it would be a good reason to bring campyness to the big screen). It is sad that good actors like Clooney and O'Donnell(note I left out the remaining cast) must be wasted in poorfully written parts. It is also sad that the writer chose to add Alicia Silverstone to this already scary film. Her presence just made me cover my eyes and ears more. And what's up with Uma. I'm not even going to go there. Overall, the special effects weren't that special. The story line was weaker than tissue paper and the acting, besides Clooney and O'Donnell, was awful. The only good quality of this film was the scenes between Alfred and Bruce Wayne. They were heartfelt and touching, but that couldn't save this stinker from bombing out all around. Sorry Warner, but Batman is dead. END
