Review: Right from the very first few scenes, The Fast and the Furious is a movie that almost jumps out of the screen with its entertaining races, good story and amazing visuals and editing. The Fast and the Furious is everything I wanted out of an evening's entertainment - great girls, awesome cars, cool storyline, likeable characters, unpredictable scenes, awesome cars and did I mention AWESOME CARS! Man, did these cars rock or what? Just seeing those great colours and fashionable labels on these awesome vehicles zoom past each other in racing fashion is enough to get me excited and want to see more, more, more. The movie has strong entertainment value but is also quite smart, too. The whole "undercover-policeman" thing was very original and brought up some unpredictable scenes. The thing I liked about the script is while it contains many extremely entertaining scenes, also has the ability to muddle with your mind. You never really know who the villain is in the movie, or how it's going to turn out. It's really fun to watch and when the ending comes, it's a truly dramatic and freakin' fun climax that leaves the movie on a really awesome note. The Fast and the Furious isn't a masterpiece, but it is damn fun to watch, is never dull, is a well executed flick and has all the best aspects of good entertainment. I really enjoyed the movie, and anyone aged around 8 - 45 (it may be a bit loud and violent for older ages) who doesn't has obviously gone out of their mind. I mean, it is so hard not to like this flick if what you are expecting is a good time. Anyway, I was expecting fun, loud, cool and sly entertainment, and I definitely got it. And I'm sure you will too...

Summary: Something for everyone!!!!
Review: No matter what anyone tells you, this is just as much of a chick flick as it is a guys movie. And no matter who you are, The Fast And Furious has something for you.Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, and Michelle Rodriguez absolutely ignite the screen in this fast-paced, dynamic film about friendship, trust, betrayal, and above all else, the trials and tribulations of a ring of Los Angeles drag racers. In most action-packed car movies, the characters' personalities are often unimportant and forgotten when compared with how fast their cars can go. I must admit, I was dragged into The Fast And The Furious expecting the same thing. However, within the first fifteen minutes it became evident (much to my surprise!) that the characters in this film actually have depth, and behind the sleek, fast cars, there is actually a quite captivating plot. In my opinion, the most amazing performance of the flim is Vin Diesel in his portrayal of Dominic Turetto, the leader of the drag racers who frequently crosses and re-crosses the thin line between good and bad. Diesel's dominating good looks and superb ability to transorm from ruthless gang leader to lover to something in between make him my bet for the breakthrough actor of the year- dare I say the decade?? But I could not write a complete review of TF&TF without stressing the other incredible performances here. Paul Walker gets to showcase his acting skills as Brian, an undercover cop originally sent to rat out the drag racing crime ring's main operators, who instead finds himself forming a strong friendship and understanding with it's main leader, Turetto, and a love (fling?) with Turetto's sister Mia (Jordana Brewster). Brewster's performance was the most generic but ultimately panned out all right after all. Last but certainly not least, Michelle Rodriguez's smart, sassy, and dominating performance as Letty, Turetto's longtime love who is the only woman racer in the drag racing curcuit, proves to be enteratining and makes you want to stand up and cheer more than any other actor in the film. All in all, The Fast And The Furious is one of, if not THE, best race car movie out there, and whether you're looking for a great action movie with fast cars and hot young actors or a real story of betrayal and friendship in the heart of a big city's mean streets, it's you're best bet by far.

Summary: Vroom-vroom!!
Review: Despite a lot of criticism that I have heard from friends and co-workers, I really enjoyed the movie. I've never seen a movie so dedicated toward fast cars, especially imports. I have a deep passion for cars and it's a breath of fresh air to see a movie that was able to best represent car enthusiasts' pride and joy, their car. I realize they operated on a tight budget for the movie but despite that they managed well and produced an action packed thriller that anyone who has nitrous and gasoline flowing through their veins would enjoy!

Review: GREAT MOVIE. I'VE ONLY SEEN IT "SEVEN TIMES." GOOD MOVIE ALL AROUND--BUT VIN DIESEL MAKES THE MOVIE. VERY GOOD ACTOR. ALL THE ACTORS IN "THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS" DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.

Review: hello every one! i love this new movie of the fast and the furious. i know alot about drag racing because my cosin used to be a drag racer.i think the director did a great job on this movie.in the real drag racing world its really like the movie shows, which is great!!vin diesel rally adds to the movie and so does paul walker they really kick butt in this movie. michelle rodriqeuz kicks butt to how she punched that dude!!!! good job girl. vin diesel plays his part really well in the movie i hope you play in more movies like this vin!paul walker how he raced the car you would have never expected him to be a cope keep it up. leah

Review: Vin Diesel is in his best movie yet in Fast and the Furious! He's hot and Paul Walker is a very good compliment to Vin. There is a LOT of action, but there's also a little romance. It's the perfect date movie. Action for the guys, romance for the girls. No mushy stuff. =) I've already seen it 3 times in theatres, and I'm definately going to buy it when it comes out on video! I strongly suggest seeing this movie if you like cars, driving fast in cars, or just like incredibly edible guys =).

Summary: A killer movie 3 times in a row!!
Review: My wife and I have seen this movie 3 times in the theater now. I have to admit that after 2 times the initial thrill was gone for me but not for her!! From the cars to the actors it was a great flick. Now this was no intelectual piece so a hisory buff or sci-fi fan wont get much out of it but if you like Vin Diesel and love cars and testosterone then this is the flick for you!!

Review: Fast cars, cheap thrills One way or another, cops-&-robbers movies have always been about the relationship between the 2. They engage in a complicated relationship throughout the movie, one that's often mediated through drag racing, & muscle-car fury. When it all boils down, there is little difference between the cop & robber except on which side of the law each stands. Prettyboy Walker and streethulk Diesel playoff each other's good looks beautifully. Complete foils for one another; therein lies a conflict worth 7.25 to see. This film takes this to an extreme length, positing a relationship between a cop & a robber that is spiritual, & intimate, if not homoerotic. The two pumped-up leads never stop eyeing each other...not that anything is wrong with that. And to be honest, it would have made the story a lot more interesting. Though the sexual tension has to be played out through the conflict over the kid sister. Diesel's character also has an alibi-providing girlfriend. "F&F" is largely about Walkers' character's split personality- two dueling halves that tear him between duty to the law and his desire to fall under Dominic's (Diesel) wing. This is the central tension that holds the movie together. And, oh, God, the cars. Just try not to leave with a pounding heart and a need for speed. The NOS, the tires, the throaty roar of souped-up engines, the classic black beauty Diesel can't control off the line. Again. $7.25, no prob. Oh yeah...Walker AND Diesel each have shirtless scenes. The only aspect of this film that did not ring true was the cast's irreproachably clean mouths (I expected Riddick-esque profanity from Diesel). However, their hardass personalities say enough, and I suppose it is a necessary and righteous evil. For an adrenaline rush that goes on and on, see this movie. All these reviews examine all these different aspects of the movie and deliver these lack luster words of discouragement but everytime I've been to the movie I have yet to see anyone leaving the theater complaining about the characters or the plot. The critiques of movies is to provide benefit to us the end user, the movie goer, the people who pay for the ticket yet they always seem to greatly disagree with the reaction of the normal people exiting the theater. I found the movie to be well done and it delivered what the title implied and exactly what all the trailers for the film lead on to, it was a fantastic fast paced journey into a world that is very real. The movie was a rush just as it advertised it would be it was a great movie, which kept you watching. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat. From one moment to the next, the excitement, your heart pounding and eyes glued on the screen. This is a must see with flashy cars and a strong plot. The movie makes the viewer feel as though they were in the driver seat. (Honestly speaking the main reason I went to see this flick was because of Vin Diesel) But really, this movie is much more than I expected. It has a good plot and hot cars to go along with it. Some parts (Like a lot of movies now) are a little predictable, but the ending is unexpected and all the actors, made you believe their characters. So I'm glad I went to see it. It was definitely worth my money. (All 35 times)
