Summary: The Prince and the Kicker?
Review: The plot is a Victorian conceit: twins separated at birth,one becomes gangster, the other a playboy. Van Damme has more boyish, Gallic charm here than in any other film. When I saw it in theater, I thought it might set him on track to non-martial stardom, but it didn't. Best thing in DOUBLE IMPACT is body-builder/fitness guru Cory Everson as a sexy-wicked, head-scissoring lesbian assassin. (Her only other movie role that I'm aware of, and even juicier if you like your Amazons lethal, is in BALLISTIC.)

Review: This film has alot of action. One will see in this motion picture that Van Damme was young, and very charismatic. He still is. The movie has alot of action. Van damme by accident finds his twin brother, and together they go against the bad guys. I believe it is an Asian Gang of mobsters, but anyway it is good. Their is a very beautiful blonde who comes out in the movie. She is very beautiful and has a hot body, a very hot body. You will see Van damme have a nice love scene with her. This movie is well worth it. The action is great-great fight scenes, van damme's acting is great, and the beautiful blonde is a gorgeous woman that is a stunner.

Summary: Not bad...but certainly not the best.
Review: Vandamme, is up there with Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal and a few others. This is not one of his best movies(See Hard Target or Universal Soldier). But it is enjoyable non-the-less. He plays two brothers which were separated at six months of age only to re-unite 25 years later as total opposits. One, a gruffy street-smart semi-thug, the other a ladies man martial arts instructor. The difference in the characters are vast and comical. If you have never seen a Van-damme film, don't start with this one, if you are, then enjoy.

Summary: Two Van Dammes, One Hell Of A Movie!
Review: Where else but here (and maybe MAXIMUM RISK and REPLICANT) can you get two Van Dammes for the price of one? Jean-Claude plays both flamboyant homoerotic dance instructor Chad (a/k/a Mr. Black Silk Underwear) and his crooked drug dealer brother, Alex, in this tale of two brothers seperated at birth who reunite in Hong Kong to take on the same crime syndicate that murdered their parents, some twenty years ago. This film is strictly for the action buffs and Van Damme fans. There's some great B-movie lines here and Bolo Yeung finally gets his rematch from BLOODSPORT. Surprisingly, neither of Van Damme's roles was nominated for an Oscar.

Review: YES! That is all I have to say about this movie. TWO VAN DAMMES, it doesn't get any better than this. Separated at birth, both Van Dammes eventually come together and unite as one! YES! The Beverly Hills Van Damme is hilarious with his black silk UNDA-WEAR and should go back to Disneyland! ... But, they work together to fight the worst bad guy who gets crushed with a crate. YES!
