Summary: "The Matrix Reloaded"
Review: This was an amazing movie!!! Don't hate me for saying this but I think it was better than the first movie. "The Matirx" was basically an intro and "The Matrix Reloaded" is where the real fun starts. Everyone knows the plot so I wont state it, I just want to say the action was breathtaking!!! The highway chase scene was worth the 7 dollars alone!!! A Must Have DVD!!! Great movie destined to be a classic! Oh only one more thing way did they have that five minute rave sceen that was pointless!!

Summary: Not a major movie but still...
Review: Ok. I am a Christian and I might not like everything said or done in a movie...but still...

There have been a lot of bad reviews about Matrix Reloaded, and what two points I see the most often are dealing with the sex scene and the rave...I can understand that parents might be concerned about their children watching an R rated movie...but ponder these points...

*It is an R Rated movie. If you go to an R Rated movie, you are going to have Adult Themes. This is not a movie for under teenage kids. You would not take a kid to see this kind of movie despite its really cool premise, if the kid is under 13.

*Though yes there are toys out there, those toys are not your average Star Wars toys you play with, they are instead collector's action figures. So the industry is not pandering to children, they are giving the collector's what they want.

*The sex scene. Yes well they did not have to have it in the movie. But. It really was not that offensive. It is not like you see any specific body parts. There are much worse movies out there with sexual themese that kids go to (such as Freddy Got Finger or American Pie) with their parent's blessings (or ignorance, one or the other).

*The dance scene. Yes well you have to look at it as a more religious action than just a dance club rave. There are many religions--the Christian religion, the Jewish religion, and the Muslim religion to name a few--that have dancing in their ceremonies. It wasn't just to show bodies dancing, it was a religion expression in the formation of dance movements.

Summary: A dynamite and futuristic masterpiece!
Review: Perhaps I'm being somewhat airheaded with this review but I can easily feel unashamed at expressing my absolute love for this incredible sequel to the first "Matrix" film from years back. "Reloaded" is an absolutely incredible movie on virtually every front. In fact, it surpassed all my expectations by miles.

The setup began on the first one from 1999, "Reloaded" is where the start of the action really begins. It starts with a battle between Trinity and a computer program Agent withing the Matrix and ends with the two falling out a window and her taking a stray bullet and crashing into a car below. It only turned out to be merely a nightmare that Neo (Keanu Reeves) was having...or was it a vision of what's inevitable later on in time. Meanwhile, the survivors of a machine have gathered in a region named Zion to prepare for a battle against deadly squid-like robot machines that are raving their way in attempt to reach Zion and kill the surviving humans in a war between man and 'machine'. The only one though who can truly stop the machines and save Zion from falling under their rule is a reclusive person named Neo!

There are so many unbelievably eye-popping and adrenaline bloated action scenes in "Matrix Reloaded" that you'll be holding on to the edge of your seats when watching this awesome movie.

(DANGER: POSSIBLE MAJOR SPOILERs AHEAD) The main thing that really makes this movie so attention grabbing is possibly the scene where Neo meets up with the architect/creator of the Matrix and how the architect/creator of the Matrix tells Neo about how his choices have sealed the fates of those around him and those around hi, how he is unable to change that, and that Neo is basically a computer program. Perhaps it's the combination of this and that the different worlds that Neo travels to, are basically massive computer programs capable of reproducing themselves as corrupt Agent Smith duplicating himself demonstrate. The movie ends on a major cliffhanger note and it really makes one wonder what's to come in the "Revolutions" movie due out later this year. I just hope that "Revolutions" brings the trilogy to an explosive close. Even with the high level of what's going on on here, it's more than likely just a mere taste of what's to come on the epic finale "Matrix Revolutions". The fight scene between Neo and the duplicates of Agent Smith is the best fight scene that I've seen in many years in any action movie. Agent Smith (and the duplicates of him) is awesomely played by actor (the actor who brought Elrond onto the big screen in "Lord Of The Rings") Hugo Weaving. The rest of the caste are very good as well. Overall, the special effects of the movie are absolutely amazing and the odd use of digital green letters or hieroglyphic symbols coming together to form objects and human beings is just mind-bogging to watch.

Keanu Reeves is absolutely incredible, playing the truly complex, mysterious character and sometimes difficult to understand Neo. I think that Reeves is at his best since the terrifying role in "Speed" from almost a decade ago. Laurence Fishburne does a solid job playing Colonel Morpheus. Carrie-Anne-Moss is wonderful as Neo's love Trinity. The rest of the cast are excellent as well.

I just don't know how to really describe this movie even with this review as it's just a highly confusing storyline. Although it is one of the best films of the year, "Matrix Reloaded" does suffer somewhat from excessive amounts of subject jumping and it isn't allowed enough room for the storyline to take some breaths because of the long-chain of action scenes but for what it is "Matrix Reloaded" is a digitally awesome follow-up to the first one. Even if the storyline threatens to fall apart, the movie still holds together quite well, just because of it being tons of fun. Go and see it now before it leaves the theatres as it won't have anywhere near the punch on the small screen like it did on the big screen! I cannot wait to own this incredible movie on DVD whenever it comes out! This will certainly become a legendary trilogy in the history of filmmaking in the future, just like "Star Wars", "Indiana Jones", and "Lord Of The Rings" have. The Wachowski Brothers made an awesome and unforgettable legacy with these three movies.

Summary: You can't go wrong with a Matrix.
Review: I went to see this movie too many times. It's incredible - the best action film ever AND one hell of a brain teaser. What? Action and brains can go hand-in-hand? YES. I can't possibly write a review that delves into this movie enough, so I'll stick with short-and-sweet: This movie is awesome as hell.

Summary: Passafist Reviews The Matrix Reloaded
Review: The Matrix RE-Loaded raises the bar of action flicks. Bombs bursting here, Uzi's bursting there and the biggest surprise Keanu has learned to act.

Reloaded picks up where The Matrix left off. A group of Freedom Fighters, led by Morpheus, played by Laurence Fishburn, continue their assault against the machines that have enslaved the Human Race in The Matrix. This time we get a glimpse of Zion, the last free human city. We meet a cast of new characters including Jada Pinkett-Smith as Niobi, and Link, played by Harold Perrineau Jr., who pilot's Morpheus's ship the biblically named Nebecanezzer. Plus, Neo played by Keanu Reeves and Trinity played by Carrie Ann-Moss, are back and this time around the movie centers on their budding romance. There is a story here, a good one in fact, but it would take a book to explain, so lets move on. What I can tell you is there is a fantastic chase scene that takes up most of the second act, and boy is it cool. Cars flipping, trucks crashing, Motorcycles jumping here and there. It's a high-octane rush. All brilliantly choreographed almost like ballet. It end on a perfect note, with a spectacular shot I won't even begin to describe cause it's worth the price of admission.

Now comes the part of the review I hate, that moment when I have to mention what I disliked about the film. There is a scene early in the film, where Neo and Trinity consummate their love. The scene plays out longer than necessary, and really stops the story dead in its tracks. We get the point 3 minutes before it's over and I a serious blight to the film. I mention this scene to tell parents to keep young children and teenagers away from this film. It's fun for it's target audience 17 and up The Matrix Re-Loaded earns it's R rating.

This is the Best Blockbuster Popcorn Flick I've seen all year. If you do decide to see the Matrix Re-Loaded do me two favors, 1) If you haven't seen the first one in a while rent it cause you'll be lost and 2) Stay 'til the very end of the credits and you'll be treated to a short trailer for The Matrix Revolutions due out this November.

Summary: Fully reloaded!!
Review: The first Matrix film was a story about discovery, and as such, it dealt with the theme of faith and belief. This second film is a search, and deals with the idea of choices and questions whether or not humans have free will.

Neo, Morpheous, and Trinity return to search for the keymaker, who will be able to get Neo deep into the matrix's infrastructure to meet with the Matrix's architect, and to make a decision that would change the world...

This is only the middle of the trilogy, so the whole movie ends abruptly and dissapointingly, right after Neo makes a drastic (and mind-blowing) move. This is the film's greatest fault. However, the story gives lots of room for more complicated special effects escenes, more in-depth philosophy, a more detailed look at the matrix's infrastructure, and wilder stunts. People with an open mind (no pun intended) may enjoy seeing Neo flying 20,000 mph and fighting 100 Agent Smiths, but I do warn you that this film has lots of impossible stunts.

In terms of the story's generic details, there's more attention to both the real world (with showing Zion and its inner workings and political structure) and the matrix world (with the concept of back doors, architects, and programs, all of which are derived from authentic computer programming).

The characters are just as good as before, but since the previous film dealt so much with them, this film doesn't focus so much on their development (even though Neo's powers evolve in the end). The film does focus on the development of the new characters (Link, Niobe, and Morpheous's rival whose name I forgot).

I generally liked this one overall. It doesn't have the same familiarity that made the first film so likable, but in time, I think it will stand as a great chapter in the matrix saga. It's entertaining and intelligent all at once, as it should be, and it leaves you craving for the next and final Matrix episode!

Summary: Good enough... Lacks story
Review: The first MAtrix movie was totally DA BOMB!! It introduced the bullet time visual effects, and started a next generation for all action films.
But like always, sequels usually aren't as good.
In the Matrix reoladed, Neo comes back in the fight for Zion. THe visual effects are outsanding and breathtaking(i like the ghost twins). Martial arts were really cool, with sword fighting stuff.
The flaws in this movie is the boring storyline. It was not as intersting. Also, this movie is not as tense. Neo can take on anyone and can easily fight off 200 agent smiths. It's not as suspenseful. Also, there was not as cool fight scenes, and no dodging bullets.
But still, this movie is definetly worth the watch, especially for MAtrix fans. It's still really mindblowing, with explosions and visual effects like matrix-style.With cool visual effects and martial arts, it deserves a explosive 3/5.

Summary: Good Movie
Review: This was definitely a good movie. A worthy seqeul of the orginal. My only problem was the talking. This movie had way too much talking, and most of the scenes in Zion were very boring. I think it should also have showed more of Ghost and Niobe, but judging from the Matrix Revolutions trailer, their characters will have bigger roles in that movie. Also, it could have explained more about Agent Smith, and the Albino Twins. But overall it was a good movie, I would reccomend it, but only to people who have seen the first movie, and to also be ready to watch the third in November, because this movie is more of a cliffhanger than The Fellowship of the Ring, since it concludes nothing.

Summary: The worst sin?
Review: This film commits the worst possible sin a sequel can commit: lack of respect for, and continuity with, the original.

In Matrix I, Morpheus and pals are an isolated crew, moving about to keep ahead of their machine enemies. The location of the city of Zion is a deep secret, known to Morpheus, but NOT to the rest of his crew. And not to the machines: it's what Smith wants to learn when he captures Morpheus.

In Matrix II, Morpheus is Captain Kirk, Zion is Star Fleet Command, and the machines know exactly where it is.

This sudden change of premise is not one of the movie's philosophical reality shifts; it's just lazy and sloppy writing.

I was expecting a plot where some emergency forces Morpheus to go to Zion, leading to the discovery of its location by the machines. It would have made for a much better film.

Summary: "Better than the first!"
Review: I went to "The Matrix Reloaded" with a friend and I was completely blown away after walking out of the theatre. And that night I couldn't get to sleep, all I did was replay all the action scenes over and over in my head. I'll review all the aspects that should be in a Matrix film.

The action: We'll start with the action first, because that's a lot more important. The fight scenes were nothing short of amazing, and my favorite had to be the scene where Neo is fighting all those copies of Agent Smith, even though that scene did get a lot of bad reviews. My second favorite was the car chase scene where Morpheus and the Keymaker are trying to escape the semi and things are slowed to a crawl as we see the semi explode, and that was probably the best special effect in the film as well, so I guess that saved me a review of the special effects.

Cast: After the intense action and involvment of the characters in the first "Matrix", it is definitely important to have the same cast in the second, and the movie did that very well. They brought back Keanu Reeves as Neo, though I was thinking that he would turn down the part. Laurence (Not LAWRENCE) Fishburne returned as the wise and cunning Morpheus, and last but not least, Carrie-Ann Moss returns as Trinity. Other than that there are many new characters like that little dude who keeps following Neo around, and no, it's not mouse, he died in the first movie, remember? Anyway, the casting was necessary, and the acting was just as good, also.

The length: Did you know that this was originally meant to be just one sequel, but it was so long it had to be cut in half? Well, it did, and thank God for that because I wasn't about to sit through a 6-hour movie. And because many people consider the Matrix a little complicated, it is completely necessary that the movie should be quite lengthy.

Well, I'd like to also point out the sexual scene between Neo and Trinity. It was no doubt in my mind that they were gonna hook up, because, in case you haven't seen the first Matrix, they frenched in the end, and now in this one, right towards the beginning they do the matress mumbo. It didn't show much, so don't get your hopes up, perves.

That's my review for "The Matrix Reloaded", it was one hell of an action-packed movie and I'm definitely gonna buy it. Thanks for taking time to read this review.
