Summary: NEW YORK TRASHED
Review: A fun movie with great special effects. Try and see it on DVD wideacreen

Besides, there are those of us who like to see NYC trashed.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A good action thriller
Review: This is a somewhat new twist on the Godzilla theme. Instead of undecypherable mouthings in Japanese, it largely takes place in English (?) speaking New York City, a rather good place to destroy, in its pursuit of a nest.

Summary: the worst movie ever!
Review: I don`t know weather to laugh or cry, either way this movie was horrible. From the point where each charicter was introduced I waited patiently for them to die but no, they all live to shock and horrify once again if theres a sequal. I would have rather seen some guy in a rubber suit with paint chipping off the eye then this hemaphrodite iguana that is the size of a 4 story building in one scene then in the next he is stepping on a four story building. There are no redeming qualities to this movie the actors are as bad as the characters they play, Godzilla just shows up and the people (seeing a new species) decide to kill it. The moral "if its different it must die."

Review: ...is because that's the lowest the web-site would otherwise allow ! ( And I've already spent far too much time bothering to say so !!! )

Summary: RHEADOSAURUS? IS THAT YOU OLD BUDDY?
Review: Godzilla? Well, okay, your the boss! Alright, first I'd just like to say, this movie rocked! But, as I watched it for the first time at a special day-before screening, I thought of a movie I saw in summer of 1996. I didn't remember the (let's face it, complicated) title of the film. I did remember Ray Harryhausen's amazing effects, and the basic plot. Later that summer, I went to Suncoast and picked up a copy of this effects classic. I watched it and liked it. And it warmely reminded me of my favorite movie of that summer. Let's look at some similarities: 1. Both attack New York. 2. Both are very similar in physical apperence, and both are related to true dinosaur species. 3. Both the main characters are nuclear scientists. 4. And finally (only because I'm almost out of room), both main army attacks take place at night. The reason I liked Godzilla so much, was because all the good things about TBF20kF, were recreated with Jurassic Park style visual effects. Unlike TBF20kF, Godzilla's characters were waffer thin, though they were entertaining. All in all I give this film 4 stars. If you like creature features, check out the newer films Mimic, Starship Troopers, and Anaconda (none of which I thought were as good as Godzilla). Or, check out some classics and cult favorites that inspired these modern efforts: The Deadly Mantis, Them!, The Giant Behemoth, Gorgo, 20 Million Miles To Earth, and of corse, the movie Godzilla was SOPPOSED to be inspired by: Godzilla: King Of The Monsters!

Summary: It was pretty damn good
Review: The album provides various sorts of highly entertaining music. The foo fighters, Walflowers and puff Daddy leading the charge.

Summary: Hank Azaria was the best part of this piece of [junk]!!!!
Review: I sat through this movie, watching a giant monster stomp through New York, yet Godzilla never appeared.

To me, Godzilla will always be a guy in a rubber suit stomping a styrofoam copy (a poorly constructed one) of Tokyo. That's the ONLY way to enjoy Godzilla.

Summary: YAWN!
Review: This is one of the worst movies i have seen.Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin have made good movies like "Stargate" and "Independence day" but this almost made me sleep. It has the worst acting iv'e ever seen and the humor doesn't make you laugh.Godzilla itself looks like the T-Rex from Jurassic Park and when they find Godzillas nest it's directly ripped from aliens(Except the eggs are bigger). The little godzillas are also from Jurassic Park and so is the car chase. But the biggest mistake is to make Godzilla so damn weak:The original Godzilla zould be shot at half of the movie by a whole army and still it could destroy the whole Tokyo, but for this new Godzilla you just need a few missiles to kill it.What was the point in making this movie.

Summary: grrrrrr.
Review: Alright, this film sucks. No other way to say it. No plot, no good acting, and it as the worst 2D special effects. Time to bring back the guys in the lizard suits. AND THE MOVIE IS TOO DAMN DARK! You can't see a fricking thing! GRRRR!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Very Little of Interest for Godzilla or Movie Fans
Review: Just plain bad idea. The film makers obviously thought they were updating a classic but unfortunately captured none of the original spirit. That would have been OK if the movie had turned out to be good at what it was but, alas, it was not even a good special effects monster action movie.
