Summary: Stunned in awe
Review: If you're looking for an incredibly violent movie, you know you don't have to look any further than the one with a warning label that reads, "Absolutely not for children." Riki-Oh is about a guy named Ricky (surprise) who ends up in prison. However, since he has superhuman strength and training in a special area of martial arts, he is able to punch through people's stomachs and resist pain on an unsettling level. The most memorable moments include the famous head-crunch scene that was showcased on The Daily Show, Ricky tying his own tendons together with his teeth, and the completely random kicking death of a dog. Of course, Riki-Oh is a memorable movie in itself. Although I have heard that Dead Alive is the most violent movie ever, I think that Riki-Oh surpasses it. This movie may not have more total gore than Dead Alive, but it presents the gore in a much more pleasing fashion. I would suggest that you at least rent Riki-Oh, but at this price, you may as well just buy it. I can almost guarantee that you would anyway.

Review: I was dissapointed with this movie.I heard a lot about it,and my expectations were pretty high.Too bad.It has gore and nothing more.Story is stupid, villians funny, fights short. And how do you like Yukari Oshima as a man? Someone told me it is a good comics
adaptation. It's not.If you are hardcore martial-arts fan it worth
a look.Deside for yourself.Tattooed killer sitting on the top of a cross is great!

Summary: NOT A KUNG FU MOVIE!
Review: When you get thru watching this movie, you will say it was the stupidest movie ever. First I wanna say, this is not a kung fu flick. It has absolutely nothing to do with martial arts. I don't know what to call it, but drink a few beers and watch it with your friends and the movie will be entertaining. Its actually pretty funny. At the end, Rikki Oh fights the chinese version of the incredible hulk or something. Don't buy it if you're starting a kung fu collection. Its more of a funny-horror type movie.

Summary: Best. Movie. EVAR!!!!1!1!111oneoneone!!1!
Review: Simply put, if you don't "get" Bad Taste, Dead Alive or Evil Dead, then, PLEASE, by all means, stay well away from this. However, if you've even a passing interest in the above movies, you OWE IT TO YOURSELF to pick up this cult **CLASSIC**! Think Fist of the Northstar meets Dead Alive! My friends and I can't watch this with out howling with giddy laughter every time Ricky "tastes blood" and cracks his knuckles. Put this movie in the player and it's "On!".

Summary: The Best Movie I Have Ever Seen
Review: The Story of Ricky is a great movie! Even better with the English overdubs! Riki learns a special power from his uncle that makes him invincible and able to possess super human strength. Just his fist coming close to a guy's face makes his nose bleed! His girlfriend dies (you have to see this death) after witnessing a lil drug ring thing and Riki avenges her death. This lands him in prison. Prisons are run by corrupt people now in this futuristic movie where the leaders of each cell block known as the gang of four (one for each block) use intimidation and ultimately death to keep order but factor Riki into this and you have trouble.

Now Riki must work his gory and bloody way to the supreme man in power, the prison warden, to try and overthrow the unjust rulers and free himself and the other prisoners from captivity. Throughout this journey the viewer is subjected to extreme scenes of violence with a side dish of unintentional humor and chessiness. It is a movie you have to see to believe. Invite some friends over and let the fun begin. Just do not eat a lot beforehand.

Summary: So bad, it's good.
Review: I am not a huge fan of the "kung-fu" genre of films. (or "martial arts" as they are referred to in the movie stores)
However, from time to time I indulge in some mindless violence, bad dubbing and unreadable subtitles. The Story of Ricky (Riki-Oh) has all of these wonderful elements in spades. What attracted me to this film, was the single 5 second clip of a man's head being crushed on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" (cable TV reference), a feature proudly displayed on the front cover of the DVD I posses. As a fan of the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 show, this movie also provided tons of material to goof on. The special effects alone are to be commended for their almost intentional unreality. I won't get into plot or expound upon characters, other reviewers did a fine job of that. I will simply say this movie has the joy of being in a very small category of films that are 'so bad, they are actually good'. I give this flick 4 stars. It's a classic in its own right, but not something that deserves a 5 star recommendation.
(Star Wars, Citizen Kane, Psycho) If you are looking for the quintessential pointless martial arts fest, the hour and a half Riki-Oh provides is all you will ever need.

Summary: A movie so bad that it's entertaining.
Review: ....Riki-Oh: The story of Ricky is a B movie beyond any B movie I've ever seen.As a movie, it gets 1 star,as a form of visual entertainment for the morbid,and/or people with strong stomachs looking for a movie to make fun of,a full 5 stars. The dubbing is bad,the music is bad, the plot is full of holes, and ridiculous things happen in his movie that could never occur in real life, but all this does not matter, because the gore and violence are so over the top. If you have a morbid sense of humor, this movie will definitely do. There are tons of graphic scenes of major mutilation and death.I found it so funny that I often had to replay the scenes in slow motion to see how they did it,and when you slow it down,it looks even funnier. This movie is crazy, and doesn't make a ton of sense, but I find it very entertaining. If you've got that "special sense of humor",you owe it to yourself to buy this DVD,and gross your friends out with it.I have to find/make a T shirt that has the DVD box art on it! Too funny.

Summary: Pointless death, but I LOVE IT!
Review: Rikki -Oh the story of Rikki is awsome. When I first saw this movie I didn't know what to expect. The mindless gore and death starts within the first 5 min. of the movie and never stops! I laughed so much it hurt. Having got it on DVD my friends and my self sat down to watch this movie and had no choice to zoom in 3x and watch some sceens in slow-mo. After we watched this movie we watched some of the other movie trailers on the DVD and had to buy Duel to the Death, which is also great. Not so bloody but cool all the same. Now if only I could find Crippled Masters...

Summary: Cheesy kung fu at its best!
Review: I bought this DVD not knowing what to expect, but after seeing several clips online and seeing the awesome price here on Amazon, I decided to pick it up. Glad I did. This movie is a true gem. I reccomend watching it both with subtitles AND dubbed in english, because you get some parts from the subtitles that were left out in the dubbing, and the dubbing is probably the funniest part of this movie. For example, in the beginning one of the oriental men, a guard at a maximum security prison who has a pretty light build, is voiced by what I can only assume is a big burly texan, and it is hilarious.

Lots of blood, lots of unintentional (I think?) humor, lots of action. What's not to love? Buy this, watch it, give it to your friends, have a good time!

Summary: One of the greatest movies........ever
Review: You know a movie is good when everybody you know keeps trying to steal it from you just to brag that its theirs. Ive watched this many of times with many different people and they all just sit speechless throughout the movie till its over. Then they say that was the stupidest movie Ive ever seen....But the next weekend they come back to me wanting to see it again. Its an excellent movie to watch while consuming alchohol and its hard to stop watching it once you start cause you just want to see whats going to happen next.
