Summary: Okay,but not great
Review: I thought Superman III was okay, but nowhere near as good as the first two Superman films. It was obvious that Richard Lester directed this movie all himself.(it's got none of the epic feel of the first film,or even the second, which was partly directed by Richard Donner before he was fired)That doesn't make it all bad, though, because Lester is a fairly talented drector.(I loved his Hard Day's Night with The Beatles)The movie goes for(in my opinion)too many laughs, some of which I admit are very funny, instead of capturing the awesomeness of the first two films.Robert Vaughn was a good villain, but no Gene Hackman, though. It was fun to see Clark Kent go back to his hometown of Smallville, and I really liked the character of Lana Lang, who was Clark/Superman's love interest in the film.(Lois Lane was only a small part, and she was missed)I didn't care a lot for the scenes with Gus Gorman's (Richard Pryor, who was okay, not great)supercomputer,I thought they were kind of silly. So,to make a long story short,as I said before,Superman III is an okay movie, but not nearly as good as the first two Superman movies.

Summary: A mockery to the Superman comics
Review: Firstly, I haven't seen parts 1 or 2 yet, but parts 3 and 4 were a very deep disgrace to "the man of steel". What made the directer think that targeting Supes through a video game targeting system would work? I hear they're making a Superman flick outside this series. I hope they make it a LOT more faithful to the comics than this.

So why the hell does this "movie" get 3 stars? Because I liked it. Though it was an insult to my second favorite superhero, it made me laugh longer and harder than any movie in recent memory.(Just watch the Supes/Kent brawl!)

As a Superman movie(or even a normal action flick) this deserves 1 star; as a campy, hokey and cheesy comedy this deserves 5 stars, so I gave it 3 stars.

Summary: Not bad!
Review: This movie was to be dick Lester's own movie, and the Salkinds(ilya and aleksander)was thirld by hearing that Richard Pryor by any price wanted to play in a Superman movie. They thought that he could play some kind of a comic villain in Superman 3.But that sadly just made this movie that could have been an all time classic into a Richard Pryor comedy.Anyway there are also a few scenes that that will be rememberd for a long time.Buy this movie to see the Superman vs Evil Superman scene!

Summary: What Happened?
Review: After making two very good and very successful Superman movies, you have to wonder what happened with this third installment. First off, Richard Pryor, as great of a comedian he may be, had no business being cast in this movie. One has to wonder whether his actual character had any business being in the movie. And instead of Superman battling Lex Luthor or three renegade Kryptonians, he battles...a super computer?!? Granted, there is a part of this movie in which Superman actually battles himself (or his darker self anyway), that wasn't nearly as climatic as you'd think. Besides Lex Luthor being absent, Lois Lane has all but two scenes in this entire movie, and she's supposed to be the most important person in the Man of Steel's life! This movie was poorly written, very poorly edited, and very very badly directed. Only worth watching this movie? Christopher Reeve, who not only plays Superman again with greatness, but gives Clark Kent his due as well.

Summary: SUPERMAN III : THE BEST SUPERMAN MOVIE OF ALL!
Review: Out of all the 4 Superman movies, Superman III is my favorite. It is the funniest movie that I have ever seen with Richard Pryor! Even thought the special effects may not be the best, and some times you can see the strings attached to Christopher Reeve to make him fly; it is still my favorite Superman movie. Superman: The Movie was good and Superman II was good, but as for Superman IV: The Quest for Peace it was the worst Superman movie that I have ever seen. The story was not believable and John Cryer was awful (Lenny). The special effects for the flying sequences were good but it cannot stand up to the story of SUPERMAN III! The scenes of the junk yard fight between Clark Kent and Superman were very good. You were convinced that a duel of the fates was taking place. The only problem was when Clark Kent strangled Superman, if you look at Kent's arms you can see the white of his shirt move. They edited Reeve into the shot but those were not his hands. As for the rest of the movie I really did not see anything that looked wrong. This movie is a perfect 5! I would love to see it re-released out into the movie theatres again! SUPERMAN III RULES!

Summary: This movie is not as bad as some are saying!
Review: When I saw this movie, I have to admit that I didn't take too well to Richard Pryor. I understand that he was one of the most popular comedians at that time but it took me a while to warm up to his character. However, I felt that the rest of the movie was good, but not as good as compared to Superman 1 and 2. There are plenty of comical scenes in this movie but it is evened out by just as many action adventure moments. My favorite part of the movie is when the evil Superman meets up with the good and mild mannered Clark Kent, fighting for the win, and also, the machine VS. Superman scene near the end of the movie. I have to admit that there is a scene or two with Richard Pryor's character where it makes you "ho-hum" but I continue to be entertained by this movie. What strikes me odd, is that some of the critics here who booed Superman 3, actually gave Superman 4, a 4 or 5 star rating, which is ridiculous!

Summary: Worst Film adaptation of a comic book ever done
Review: Superman III has three strikes against it.1. Richard Pryer is miscasted in it.2. It has no story at all. Mad computer vs Superman...Please3. Neither Richard Donner nor writer Mario Puzzo (the men behind the first Superman movie) are involved with the making of this movie, and it shows.Should be ranked in the same class as the lousy Incredible Hulk TV show from the 1970's.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Boring, but slightly redeemed
Review: Everyone knows that this film is boring but it has a few good moments such as the hilarious opening but is really very poor overall. I heavily recommend Superman 2 and the original.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Worst Sman film
Review: C'mon, this film stinks! The cast is boring, and the action scenes are on the brink of getting ridiculous. Watch Superman 2 to see a really good movie, watch Superman to see a great movie, and watch superman 4 to see a good movie.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What a Super movie
Review: I dont care what anyone says about Supeman III, its very good .The scene I the most was the battle between the good and evil Superman.I know one thing, this is worth watching over that disappointing Superman IV.
