Review: WOW! THIS WAS A GREAT MOVIE! NOT MUCH TO SAY ABOUT IT. GOOD CAST. GOOD ACTION, GOOD STORY, GOOD STRUCTURE, GOOD OVERALL APPERANCE. THIS SHOULD BE ONE OF THE FILMS OF 1998, AND SHOULD RECIEVE AN OSCAR NOMINATION FOR IT! ALL I CAN SAY IS WATCH IT: YOU'LL LOVE IT!

Review: The casting of Spacey and Jackson was a sure fire hit. These two were great together and had command of the camera whenever they are in front of it. The supporting cast was strong and was able to give creditibilty to the characters. If you like police movies then you will love this one. It will have you wondering who it is until the very end. I have recommended this movie to all my friend.

Summary: Action Packed, Edge of Your Seat Suspence
Review: This was a suprisingly good film. I figured it to be another carbon copy of "Die Hard". However, the intense situations as well as the twists and turns of the plot make this a refeshingly original picture. Samuel L. Jackson plays the part of a man with his life being pulled away from him to perfection. It makes you wonder how you would react in that situation. Kevin Spacey's charater is an intense addition to the picture. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is maybe a little more background on Spacy's character. How does he know what buttons to press and how to press them. This is a must see event for any action fan? This DVD version also gives you a real life view in to the jobs of real negotiators, bringing the movie in to shocking reality!

Review: Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Spacey give wonderful perfomances in this heartpounding thriller. This movie was the best movie of 1998. This two and a half hour movie could have been 5 hours long and I still would have watched it through. If you like drama and heartpounding suspense, this is the movie for you.

Summary: Great performances help film in rough spots
Review: Spacey and Jackson have extremely high screen intensity that draws you to their performances. It's also notable for the great charcter actor J.T. Walsh's last movie, but it was a good swan song performance. Some of the action pieces bogged down the film, although F.Gary Grey's direction hightened the suspense of what exactly would come next. Kudos for the trailer people for missleading us in a way, so the end wasn't totally predictable from the two minute trailer, though it probably hurt the film's B.O. A must see for the fine performances of two of film's most talented men.

Review: Jackson and Spacey are MAGNIFICENT! The character interaction and plot are outstanding. The DVD sound quality and special effects are also GREAT! The action scenes are really good and not overdone (Hollywood style). I can't understand why this movie didn't get more accolades! One of the best movies I seen on DVD!
