Summary: Top-notch fun!
Review: It's a story of good vs. evil, familiar in all those comforting ways and yet still original enough to be highly entertaining. The cast is interesting (including Lian Neeson and Robbie Coltrane) and fun to watch, the fantasy gorgeous. Truly enjoyable!

Summary: Must-see
Review: Just as good now as I found it when I saw it at the theater as a child. I waited weeks for it to come out after seeing the first commercials and I was not disappointed in the slightest degree. If you are or ever were a child of the eighties, this sci-fi extravaganza won't let you down.

Review: Krull is a story of old fashond style fantasy. It tells a story of a faraway planet. A evil beast of great power comes to this world seeking to conquer it, as it had done to many others. Summary: It has got everything a Fantasy should
Review: Krull is one of our favorite family films. It has everything a Fantasy should. An evil, alien monster keeps the beautiful young Queen prisoner, and her handsome, brave King must find her by the aid of a magical weapon, fighting many battles against incredible odds with the aid of an assortment of loyal companions: an inept magician, a Sorcerer's apprentice, a powerful but sad Cyclops, and an outlaw chieftan. Did I mention the flying horses? A wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Summary: A very memorable movie; a definite classic.
Review: This is one of those movies I have always liked. I was but a youngster when I saw it but I still remember the adventure and amazement I felt when I saw it in the theaters. It is simply a fun, innocent, feel good, adventure movie which uses some of the classic themes of the genre such as chivalry and the "damsel in distress" motif. Be a kid again and watch it.

Summary: A worthy attempt
Review: Krull throws everything it possibly can at you as a fantasy film, and hence it fails in many regards because it tries to be so much that it just can't hold up under the weight. Nevertheless, it's hard not to like Krull and you can't help but sit back and enjoy some very original moments, including, at times, an unusually sharp script. Best of all, though, is the beautiful music of James Horner, who would later go on to score films such as Star Trek II, Willow, Glory, Braveheart, and Apollo 13. The music is absolutely stunning and full of excitement.

Summary: Campiest Sci-Fi Fantasy of All Time
Review: Wacky audio-dubbing, characters who wait at the far edge of a bridge waiting for the special effects to catch up and make it fall, a trained tiger that spooks at the sound of a 10-year old's voice (compliments of history's goofiest editing), Freddie Jones dying with the words "Mo, Mo, Mo," a castle that falls UP when it falls down -- who could ask for anything more?

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Overall, one of the greatest fantasy movies of all time.
Review: There are few fantasy movies that hold both a thrilling plot, exciting characters, and such encompassing battle-scenes as Krull.
