Review: This movie is a complex juxtoposition of images and sceens. The movie is almost like a live action anime. There are a lot of things going on that are not entirely explained, but the movie is fun to watch. If you like those actions movies with a touch of cheese, you'll love this!

Review: This was definately the greatest movie I've seen this year. And although it reassured my biases against child actors, I'm forcing all of my friends to watch this even if it requires me to resort to violent force and the use of poisonous cephalopods.

Review: I got loaned a copy of this movie from a guy I work with, and he says that the kid is his nephew. So naturally I thought the movie would be stupid. The introduction seemed lame, and the first few times the kid went "Aaaaaaaah!" really annoyed me. Then it just started rocking. Aside from the somewhat anticlimactic ending, it was a darn cool movie.

Review: ...with a Wizard of Oz twist!Yes, it's low budget. Yes, the pacing is uneven in parts. None of that matters. Where the movie succeeds is in telling an over-the-top chop sockey action story with a rockabilly beat. Great one liners abound ("If I were you, I'd run!" "If you were me, you'd be good looking."), and even though the situations are ubsurd they never lack for style. Pick up this movie and meet the Cleavers (the ultimate nuclear family), witness the Great and Powerful Windmill God, watch out for the Spinach Monster, and face the entire standing Russian Army. And don't forget to bring a ratchet...

Summary: This movie is where its at
Review: i saw this movie a few weeks ago for the first time. it was as good, no better, than what i had been told. it is indie, it is action, it is pure fun. sure the flow of the action in the movie might at sometimes be inconsistent, but hell thats another reason to pick this flick up. if not for the music, or the plot, at least see the movie for some of the best choreographed fighting scenes ever (remember the budget).

Review: What else can be said, except that the film is a terrific example of what a big budget little movie can produce. Amazing camera work is at play here. The opening sequence is just stunningly choreographed. Simply put, Six-String / Six Stars!

Summary: Nice tuxedo... nice tuxedo to DIE in!
Review: Six-String Samurai has awesome fight scenes, music, and a hella cool plot. It's unlike any other Independent movie out there, because it doesn't rely on dialogue. In fact, there's hardly any dialogue, it's mainly just fighting and beautiful cinematography, like a 90 minute ballet of violence.

Summary: Torture Torture and More Torture
Review: The idea was some what interesting (certainly not original), but was so poorly executed that one quivers at the thought of actually paying to have it made. It is basically an EXPENSIVE amature film, though beautifully shot (shoot in the desert and you really cant blow it). If you like fight scenes, get somthing else because as soon as one starts its over, and you NEVER feel like you were involved in the fight to begin with. The child actor (straight out of road warrior minus the boomarang) was so rediculous that it was comical. He grunts through the whole film to the point of irritating the hell out of the unlucky viewer. Bottom line. BAD directing, acting--nice editing. DO NOT BUY!!!!
