Summary: cooooool
Review: hey this movie is great and notice in one review a person called val kilmer "BLOND" referring to stupid well wake up yourself because you spelled "BLONDE" wrong- you forgot the "E" DUH!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Poor cinema
Review: This movie has too many characters to be coherent. They should have left out Robin and Two-Face. Moreover, the whole thing is badly edited - especially the climactic action sequences, when we can't even tell what is going on. After this postmodern mess, I left the theater feeling overwhelmed and sick.

Summary: An insult to Bat - Fans!
Review: The ridler only tells one riddle. Two-face has only one personality. This movie is just a reminder of how superior the FOX cartoon series of "Batman" is to this empty-headed junk. On a daily basis, the cartoon series has ten-times better writing than this overbudgeted drivel.

Summary: A review from Mr. Entertainment Lover
Review: Batman seems to be getting better and better with each film. This one is no exception. I feel out of all of the Batman movies this is the best one of them all. The plot is Two-Face wants to get revenge on Batman. The Riddler wans to become one of the most powerful people in Gotham by sucking in peoples brain waves. Both of them team up to try and defeat Batman. I feel this Batman was done well because they gave it a comic book feeling with all the good colors and settings they used. Tommy Lee Jones is awesome and jaw-dropping as Two-Face and Jim Carey is funny as the Riddler. The action is intense and keeps on coming. It's one Batman that shouldn't be missed out on. My only complaint was that Val Kilmer does a good job as Batman but he isn't the best Batman. Micheal Keaton played the best Batman. Other than that is a worth see. Some of the best things in this film are the new gadgets, Batmobile, and introduction of Robin. Rent it and see it.

Summary: Expensive nightmare
Review: Friends, this Batman film, in addition to leaving you feeling depressed and extremely overstimulated, is quite badly edited. This becomes important during crucial action scenes, when the cuts happen so fast that they don't reveal what is actually happening. As with all sequels to the first Batman film, this one is burdened with too many characters.

Summary: Someone shine a bat signal in the sky for HELP
Review: How bad is bad? Ask the Bat; but he must be too glad he's really as blind as bat because this should be buried someone where the disgrace is unviewable. Val -- noble effort but how BLOND can Bruce Wayne get? He was always a dark haired character--and should STAY that way. Tommy Lee Jones -- who WAS he playing? Joker's sidekick or something? Harvey was HARDLY that sort of character. And what's with the flashing neon lights???? How repulsive...and Nicole Kidman...ahh, Tom Cruise's hunny should have stayed in bed and never *attempted* to fill Michelle Pfieffer's boots. Catwoman will always reign as *the* female character of all the movies. The riddler was the only one who was pretty good. I say this with veiled disagreement because it was all horrible to begin with. Anyhow...Ever since Tim Burton bowed out as director, the Bat's been falling...and falling...someone catch him before he hits his head too hard and never wakes.

Summary: the beginning of the end...
Review: i would give this movie 1 1/2 stars, only because i couldn't go lower than 1 on "Batman & Robin",which deserved minuses. But this film says it all. When tim burton left and joel schumacher stepped in, out went any credibility for the batman legacy. Val Kilmer & Tommy Lee Jones are excellent actors, however, kilmer's batman just doesn't cut it (clooney proved to be a better choice), and jones' two-face is not two-face! there is absolutley no resembelence to the original character, and i'm not just talking make-up. chris o'donell is introduced as robin, and obviously no one paid attention to what an incredibly bad actor he is, not too mention a really wimpy robin, because they invited him back. DON'T ASK ME WHY! Nicole kidman is cute but strong & intelligent, and probably the best "ladyfriend" for the caped one so far. Now a moment of silence.....my favorite character from the batman legend has always been the riddler. in comic books, he was creative, in the current animated series, john glover performs him brilliantly and should have portrayed him in this abomination, instead of showing up wasted in "batman & robin". Even frank gorshin gave the 60's tv version it's due, with manic prankishness, combined with genius. I would love to know what possibly possessed these overpayed casting directors to put jim carrey in this role. obviously, they thought he would create box-office appeal. WAKE UP! THIS IS BATMAN. BATMAN HAS HiS OWN BOX OFFICE APPEAL WITHOUT STUPID NEON LIGHTS AND OVERPAYED STARS.PAY ATTENTION TO THE LEGEND. PAY ATTENTION TO THE ANIMATED SERIES.THEY GET IT RIGHT! STOP CHANGING THE RUlES, JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME! You have managed to take a productive, lucritive, and may i remind you, built-in audience and turned them against you!"FOREVER" AND "B&R" WERE EMBARRISING! Batman will still forever be my favorite super hero and the riddler is still my favorite villan, but i totally denounce jim carrey's portrayal and joel "shoemaker"'s directing. This movie isn't horrible(for that, see "batman & robin"), but it definitely signifies the beginning of the end.

Summary: ANOTHER GOOD SEQUAL
Review: some people liked this film others hated it but i think JIM CARREY WAS EXCELLENT AS THE RIDDLER and this sequal whent staght to the action the acting was pretty good this is a favorate

Summary: Like the Coat, it keeps me safe whilst im jogging at night!
Review: Well, what can i say, as a big Jim Carrey Fan and a fan of Batman, i have to say that it is the best Batman film out of the 5. Batman+Robin is dull! This one is so funny as it was casted perfectly! Recommend to any batman fan!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: upsetting, and just plain stupid!
Review: You know what this movie is just ONE of the reasons that every time I say I like Batman I have to explain that I'm not talking about the MOVIES! Now I thought the first Batman movie was good with Micheal Keaton and I haven't seen batman returns yet. I saw Batman forever and it was depressing, It doesn't even deserve 1 star! In this movie Batman was just too smart and the side of two faces, face that was suppose to be green was purple/pink! Ever since I saw Batman Forever I have refused to watch Batman movies without Micheal Keaton in them! I completely refused to watch Batman & Robin, after seeing Batman Forever and knowing that it's main star was GORGE CLOONEY! You just can't get any worse then that although they have proved me wrong before.
