Summary: Go Angie Go!
Review: I am a big fan of Angie the catwoman. Nice movie! Reminds me of the Lawnmower Man. Highly Recommended! Cool!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Loved it.
Review: I loved this movie from the first time I saw it when it first came out. Highly colorful and captivating. The soundtrack doesn't hurt either. I don't know anything about hacking and I don't really care if it's not realistic. It's fantasy to me. But it was highly entertaining.

Summary: Excellent Movie
Review: A great movie. Tries to just show a small part of how things can be done with computers and those people who should be appreciated for their knowledge of them. Yes it is a comedy, but it has a great story line and informative to those who are computer illiterate!

Summary: ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS
Review: This movie is TERRIBLE. (...) The only reason I haven't burned the disk is that it is absolutely (unintentionally) hilarious. Words can not convey to you how horrible this movie is, I can't begin to understand the mind of the person that gave it the go-ahead to be made, it's that bad. The characters are one-dimensional, the plot lame and predictable, and the portrayal of "hacking" utterly the worst in the history of cinema. I'f you've ever used a computer (hell, if you've ever used a TOASTER) the hacking scenes will leave you panting from uncontrollable laughter ("ACID BURN SEZ LEAVE B 4 U R EXPUNGED", or whatever the hell they say to each other). I honestly don't know what any of these people are talking about when they say that this is a good movie. I LOVE it, but not because it's a good movie, I love it because I have never seen a more pathetic waste of film. The funniest part is that you can tell that the writer did a little homework, but the script must have been edited for content by someone that had absolutely no idea what he was talking about (whoever decided to make the Gibson a giant room of green glowing glass blocks was a genius). Imagine a group of Counter-Strike players wearing Rollerblades screaming "hack the planet" for 105 minutes and you've got a pretty good idea of what you're in for. It's terribly stupid, but worth every penny (at least at the price I paid).

Summary: I like it!
Review: Interesting movie about teenagers. Good music. Angie is cute. But, of course, she is in the shadow of her previous husband - Johnny Lee Miller. Not masterpiece, not waste. Just a movie for fun. Have a good time.

Summary: No it's NOT science fiction
Review: I'm tired of hearing how much you'll like this if you like "science" fiction. And I don't just mean the dated/naive technology in it which is unavoidable in such a fast changing field as computers. It's justa dumb movie. And Jolie needs to quit trying so hard to purse her lips anytime she's in camera view.

Though I am a little tired of computers with ATM-sized fonts and pointless graphic roller coaster rides in movies.

Summary: Luv It, Wish I were In It
Review: It depends on your taste for movies if you like this or not. I love Mrs. Jolie and (basically) everthing that she's done, but I love this movie because the teenagers are like those in real life. I could easliy see me or a friend in these people's places. Those looking for hacking tips will find none.

Summary: Awesome movie
Review: I loved this movie! the plot is great and the computer effects are cool. this movie is, although purely fiction, is cool because you get a sense of being in an age that not many people understand. chrysilabye is right about the technology being a little older, well duh, this movie was made in 1995, of course it's older. but you have to keep an open mind for it, just like any movie. As for the acting, great job everyone. I'd reccomend this movie to any computer savvy person, or just someone who wans to watch a good movie.

Summary: A good B-grade movie
Review: I first saw this movie right after it came out, and I thought it was the stupidest and most pathetic thing I'd ever seen. However, having heard about it over and over, I decided to try it again last night, and I completely changed my point of view. Granted, it is corny and hokey, and not very credible, but it's great fun.

To enjoy this movie, you have to be able to willingly suspend your disbelief. You have to pretend that the garbage files of computers actually look like a roller coaster ride, or that the security officer of some major corporation could be such a laughingly evil and stereotypical bad guy. And you have to believe that this bad guy would actually go to such great length to screw with a couple kids. (I know, I know, they accounted for that in the plot, but really....)

But if you get past that, it is really very entertaining - really! The relationship between the kids is fun and believable, and few things are as natural as Angelina Jolie's acting. There are some great lines, too: "I hope you don't screw like you type," "Looks like the pool on the roof sprung a leak," "Spandex is a privilege, not a right!" as well as some that were not meant to be funny: "Woah, a 28.8 speed modem!" "...and they're blaming it all on the hackers" (perhaps the only line Angelina Jolie has ever uttered that came across as melodramatic.) It's great to see Matthew Lillard in his pre-Scream days, he's just as funny as ever. And if nothing else, it's worth watching for the youthful beauty of the costars Jonny Lee Miller and Angelina Jolie.

Basically, it's a B-level movie. It doesn't try to be anything else, so enjoy it for what it is. The story is fake, yeah, but very fun to watch. In all, it's a funny and interesting tour of exaggerated hacker culture and their exploits. I recommend it for a good laugh with a few friends.

Summary: spandex a privilege not a right!!!!!!!!
Review: Jonny Lee Miller and Angelina Jolie are great actors in this flick and so are the rest of the cast. I give this movie 4 stars because it's origanal, and different from most movies. The movie is about a bunch of teens who get messed up when they hack into the gibson and end up in a hole lot of trouble. They become framed with a virus they didn't plant and must try to prove their innocence find out who did it and only in 2 days.
