Summary: off technically, but otherwise good
Review: While hackers offers little to anyone who is looking for technical accuracy (TRON was even more realistic), it is a very entertaining film. While Jonny Lee Miller's performance in Trainspotting was beyond brilliant, his character in Hackers seemed 2-dimentional. The rest of the cast, however, more than makes up for his shortcomings.

Review: I'm a 'hacker' -- I've played with more than my share of systems and even run a website on the subject.I have to say that this movie not only sucks arts-wise, but it totally fails to portray the hacker culture and the underlying technology. The three-dimensional models SUCK and the rave scene is ridiculous. I found myself laughing through the whole movie... except when I was throwing up. What a crock -- just shows you what a sellout 2600 is.

Summary: PIMP tight not very realistic
Review: Ok where do i start. This movie doesn't really show how ot ge into the systems. It shows pretty pictures and wussies like "Zero Cool" staring at a screen. Well back in the days their wasn't such thing as a mouse, but in 1995 there is. Not once in the movie did I see a mouse move through the screen. And whats with the crackhead hacker wanna be "Cereal Killer". But threw it all I thought it had a pretty good plot and it was good how they brought many different ethnics and sexes into this. That is why I give it four stars instead of five. Cool sounds too.!!! FREE KEVIN!!!!!!!

Review: The fast pace and back and forth struggles make this an excellent and fun movie to watch! It belongs in everyone's movie collections, I just wish the price would be affordable!

Review: This is definately an amazing movie. I have seen this movie many times (3 times in the theatre) and I was never disappointed. Anyone who has any interest in technology, computer, or the internet would enjoy this movie, and I think anyone else as well. Sure, it is a little off in parts (never in a negative way, however), but the visual effects are great, it is well directed, and it can get you pumped up for fun little late night (h)ac(k)tivity. The soundtrack is great, too! The VHS price online is a little high (!), but I have seen it in Hastings for something a little more reasonable (85$ is ludicrous - 15$ is more reasonable) but the DVD is a great price! Anyone know if there is a director's cut available anywhere? Oh, and I think that anyone who likes this movie would definately NOT like the new Miramax film about Kevin Mitnick called TakeDown.
