Summary: decent shark movie
Review: I liked this Jaws sequel as well as the second one. I love sharks, so of course I would recommend it.

Summary: Not good at all...
Review: This movie is so awful that you have to see it! The effects are really bad and they used very similar scenes from the original Jaws. Jaws 3 was way to long. The photography was so bad that you couldn't tall if someone was dead or alive. You had to guess. If you don't like blood, don't see this movie. Unlike Jaws and Jaws 2 this movie has the dead people on the screen for a fairly long period of time. After I saw it I was really embarrassed for the director, Joe Alves. The acting was alright, it was just the photography, the plot and the lack of the Jaws theme song (it was only used once) that made the movie so bad. However, I do think you should see it just so you can say you've seen all three Jaws movies.

Summary: Boooo!
Review: The first "Jaws" was great---most of the sequels were really, really bad. I like the idea of the giant great white shark attacking Sea World. However, thirty-five feet is a little bit bigger than the original (25 feet), but who's counting? The underwater aquarium which is literally underwater is ridiculous. How are you supposed to get down there in the first place? Stairs? Elevator? Electricity doesn't really work underwater. How do they have lights lighting the aquarium? What if Jaws gets near it? Duh. Well, anyway, the part where Jaws attacks the main control room of the submerged aquarium is really, really fake. If you like Jaws, this is good. If you want a good shark movie, see the original or "Deep Blue Sea".

Summary: Why did they even make this movie!
Review: For something like a week ago i rented this movie, and thats actully the worst movie i have EVER seen, me and my brother almost laught ourselvs to death. The shark doll they used in this movie can't even be compared with the shark they used in 1975.And all the credit i can give to this movie is the very very cool opening sequence.

Summary: A bomb
Review: I loved the first 2 Jaws films. As a child I saw this one also and it scared me, I was in the video saw and decided to rent it. Definatly nott as scary as I remember there were quite a few laughs, unintentially I am sure. the 3D effects were just laughable I had a good time watching it but don't expect to to be horrified.

Summary: Jaws III
Review: Out of all the Jaws films, Jaws 3 is my third favorite, it isn't as good as Jaws(the best) or Jaws 2 but is better than Jaws 4:The Revenge. Jaws 3 is different from the first two Jaws films because for one the story takes place in Sea World in Orlando and the acting talents of Roy Scheider are missed, as the main characters are Mike and Sean Brody. This film also is a bit more comical and not as dark-edged as its predecessors, which slightly hurts the film. Dennis Quaid is very good as Mike Brody.

The Sea World setting is nice and I love the Undersea Kingdom, yet I like Amity Island better. John Williams' theme is here, but his whole original score is missed, and the music needs to be better. The cinematography is fairly good, yet the sound and editing of the previous Jaws films is sorely missed (especially in the original, which won Oscars for both sound and editing). The visual effects are cheesey, and though it is fascinating when Jaws busts through the glass, the effects aren't very good. And if you watch films like Star Wars: Return of the Jedi which received a Special Achievement Award at the Oscars for Visual Effects, you'll see that films in 1983 could have good visual effects.

Also, I think Universal and Steven Spielburg should re-release all the Jaws films on Special Edition DVD and VHS in boxed sets with documentaries and behind-the-scenes looks, remaster the sound and editing, update the visual effects, add new scenes, and re-release them in theatres with 3-D effects the way Lucas and 2Oth Century Fox did with Star Wars( yet lucas and Fox only put out Special Edition VHS and theatres with no 3-D effects). It would be a real treat, since I love the Jaws films (yet Jaws 4: The Revenge is only fair at best).

Overall, Jaws III has some entertaining aspects such as the Sea World settings, the comical touch, Mike and Sean Brody together, and the TWO sharks, yet is not as good as the first two excellent Jaws films.

Summary: Jaws 3 is OK
Review: Sure the 3-D effects look incredibly cheesy not in 3-D, but the story line isn't all that bad, even if it doen't tie too well to the first two movies. Dennis Quaid and Bess Armstrong turn in some ok performances. Lou Gossett, Jr.'s performance is not very strong however (didn't he win an Oscar the same year?) The plot has some holes in it, but there are a few decent jolts in it. Far superior to the awful 4th but not as good as Jaws and Jaws 2.

Summary: Jaws 3:Lost It's Bite
Review: Now I loved the first two "Jaws" movies, but this third outing kind of loses it's way. The Brody children are all grown up now and working for Sea World. the story has a mess of holes in it, and the shark sequences are cheap and fake looking.

I saw this movie once in its original 3D version, and it was pretty good. The movie is not really made for non 3D viewing. Maybe if the producers would of stuck more to what worked in the last two movies, the film would of been better. Still though, I am a huge fan of the "Jaws" movies, so if you are too this movie is still recommended...

Summary: oh my god
Review: ok jaws was cool, jaws 2 was ok,but this is laughable.the 3D is silly and looks funny,no shark can be that smart, the scene where the shark smashes through the glass made me laugh for hours until i thought oh my god i lived through that film.see this if you are a film buff so you can laugh, but if not you will wish to be eaten by a real shark than see this again

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Jaws III
Review: The third "Jaws" film was okay, and I'm sure the special effects in theatres were fascinating, but on video the effects were fake and the shark looked like an oversized goldfish. Roy Scheider is missed, but Dennis Quaid plays his role as his son Mike well. But the film doesn't make sense in the future. In this film, Mike's close girlfriend, Dr. Morgan, is named Kathryn. In "Jaws; The Revenge", Mike's wife is not Kathryn but Carla, who isn't even a marine biologist. In this film, Mike is a chief park engineer, and in "Jaws; The Revenge" he's a near-Ph.D. marine biologist. Other than the special effects and the comparisons to the others, Jaws III is a pretty good addition to the Jaws saga.
