Summary: BORING!
Review: The first one was awesome, the second one was good, this third one is cheesy, I mean really cheesy. Who would want to see this third film of the series? Don't plan on seeing this movie it's a waste of time. I bet the Free Willy kid was disappointed that he had to play Bastain in this boring sequel. I think this movie is just for little kids who are into kid-action stuff.

Summary: They've Done It Again!
Review: The Never Ending Story movies keep getting better. This one has all the fantasy, fun, excitement, and character depth as the original - but they've now added another key ingredient to great film-making: COMEDY! Barky, the Rodney Dangerfield-like tree, is a pun-factory sure to keep you in stitches. And the Rock Biter's wife and kid are soooo adorable - BORN TO BE WILD!!! Falkor is more likeable and realistic than ever and Jack Black is at the top of his game (he's the head "Nasty"). Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

Summary: Quite Disappointing
Review: The Neverending Story is one of the best fantasy movies of all time. There are few movies that inspire people throughout a lifetime. Since childhood, I have been in love with the Neverending Story. However, Neverending Story III did no justice to it's incredible predecesor. What a shame. It's not a fantasy movie, but rather a "made for Disney" kids flick.

Summary: Not as good as the first two, but still good enough
Review: The Neverending Story parts one and two were instant hit movies in Europe, and I think a lot of people will recognise the catching tune written by Enio Morricone ("Written on the pages is the answer to a neverending story....") Nobody seems to have heard of a third part of these series though. Is it because two was enough? I don't think so. The Neverening story part three may not be as inspired as parts 1 and 2, it's still a clever story by one of Europe's best childrens-book writers: Michael Ende, from Germany.

Young Richter is giving a performance in this film that's of his usual high level. Remember Free Willy? Then you know what a young acting talent you are about to see when you buy this tape. I'd give it three out of five.

Summary: WOOF!
Review: The second sequel to the "Neverending Story" finds Bastion trying to save Fantasia once again, this time from a mean gang called "The Nasties" who steal the book. Cheesy special effects, bad musical score and a very dumb plot are all that make up this utter rubbish! Very boring and poorly scripted indeed. Followed by yet another major headache, "Tales From The Neverending Story". Watch 1 & 2 instead.

Summary: Bad Movie.
Review: They call this a movie. When I first rented this movie, I was excited thinking maybe this will be the best of the three. Boy, was I wrong! I couldn't even finish watching the movie, yes it was that bad. then I decided to give it another try on Starz Networks recently and I actually watched the whole movie and it seemed even worse. The acting was bad, rock biter was rock chewer?, and that tree I just want someone to make lumber of that thing. This is a bad movie and I don't even know why they put it on DVD?

Summary: Utter [Garbage]
Review: This movie has nothing to do with the book "The Neverending Story" authored by Michael Ende. Only the characters are similar, but that's it. The book is excellent, and the 1st movie made (in 1984) is very good and very similar to the book (though only tells about one-third of the entire story), the second movie (made in the early 1990's) is already quite distant from the book but still contains much of the actual story (depicting the second-third of the book), but this 3rd part is absolutely foreign to the Neverending Story of Michael Ende. Do not get it.

Summary: BIG Dissapointment....
Review: This movie is a dishoner not only to The Neverending Story but to Michael Ende himself. He didn't even like the original movie, imagine what he would think of this trash. This movie lacks good acting, a decent plot, decent special effects, and consistancy with the first two. The Auryn is some ugly twisted black thing that looks NOTHING like in the first two nor does it have even a SLIGHT resemblence to the one in the book. Non of the characters appear as they did in the first two, and Falkor has been turned in to a stupid scardy cat. Heck, the rock biter has a musical number and a wife with a heavy Russian accent if that gives you ANY clue as to how utterly BAD this movie is. The third installment is a shame for so many reasons. It doesn't fit the style or feel of the first two, and it also prevents there from being a 4th. What they need to do is scrap this entire movie and make a better NES 3. I will NOT be purchasing this movie in any form, I can promise you that. Stick with the original Movie, and the Tales From The Neverending Story series, those are the best we have gotten so far.
