Summary: Dynamite Partners!
Review: "Tango and Cash" are the ultimate duo which spawned such great gatherings such as Van Damme and Rodman, Seagal and Wayans, Schwarzenegger and Leguizamo. YES! They are the city's two best cops and are framed for a murder. Resentment! The bad guy should know better not to mess with Sylvester Stallone and an extra bonus, Kurt Russell. Cash (Russell) is a loud mouth cop that doesn't take anything from anybody and Tango (Stallone) is immortal dressed in Armani. Chic! Cash falls in love with Tango's sister played by Teri Hatcher and the fun starts all over again! Gadgetry! A gidget person helps the two partners and constructs the ultimate car with guns built on the sides. OH BABY! The fight scenes are incredible and the showdown between Jack Palance and the partners is undeniably engaging! Holy cow, baby!

Summary: GREAT
Review: A good action movie. There's some good nudity in this movie especially the topless women in the car. The women has nice boobies.

Summary: Stalone and Russel Make Great Buddy-Buddy Team
Review: A new spin on the old "good cop, bad cop" ruitine where both are "good cops" but ones a cop in it for the publicity, Stallone, a cop/invester, and the other for the thril, Russell, a slob who loves his job a little too much. But when both collide on the same phoney tip, there put in the slammer for a murder the didn't committ. A great break-out scene and one of the greatest vehicles ever created for an 80's car chase.

Summary: Dancin' And Dollars
Review: Ah... nothin' like a good dumb actioner to make you appreciate the genre's better offerings! Tango & Cash™ delivers about twice as many snappy rejoinders & exchanges as the average Lethal Weapon™ flick, but they tend to be only about half as effective. Part of the reason is the back-&-forth patter between the heroes, which was a touch too much in many instances. Another problem is Stallone's delivery-- he's just not that good at delivering his lines in an effectively comedic manner! Of course, if you've ever seen Oscar™ or Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot™, you've probably noticed this already. Kurt Russell does a decent job of workin' out his end of the deal, though. And as always, Jack Palance brings out that infamous menacing attitude as the big arch-villain who throws everything he can at our two protagonists as they try to track him down. And what self-respecting hormone-driven male DIDN't take notice of Teri Hatcher in one of her more notable pre-Lois & Clark™ roles? Ooh, such wrong thoughts...

...Whoa, I slipped into the Twilight Zone™ there for a mome. But now I'm back! Um, what was I talkin' 'bout? Oh yeah, Tango & Cash™, right?

Yeah.

Anyway, this bad-boy has plenty of character actors to fill out the cast. You know, those guys you see every once in a while in a movie or TV eppie, but you don't know what their names are? Yeah, those guys! But aside from being glad the producers of this flick decided to give a few thespian undercarders some work, I was rather disappointed by this film's fatality count. I counted only twenty confirmed kills (talk about under-achievers!), with most of 'em happening in the last twenty minutes of the movie! All the really cool explosions & scenes of stuff blowin' up happen in the last twenty minutes, too! Oh well...

Summary: I miss the 80's
Review: I bought this dvd for christmas and watched it for the first time in a while. Kurt Russell steals the show from his partner and if this movie starred anybody else, then it would have came out a lot worse than it did. Russeell is Gabe Cash and Stallone is Ray Tango, the two toughest and hardest cops in the city. They have done so much damage to the crime syndicate's income that Yves Perret(a brilliant Jack Palance)has to take matters into his own hand and get the duo off the streets. They get set up and end up in a maximum security prison only to discover that if they don't escape, their is no hope for survival. This movie really owes a debt of gratitude to Harold Faltermeyer, who uses all kinds of COOL beats in his score throughout the film and keeps the viewer interested. This movie could have been longer, but I won't complain considering the action films that are being made these days are really stupid!

Summary: A lot of fun!
Review: I have to agree with the majority of reviews posted so far regarding this flick. I saw it when it came out in theatres (with my dad; I was just a little kid) but this movie is so cheesy that it's laughable (in a good way) and a lot of fun to watch at the same time. Very adrenaline rushing, action pact destruction and pyrotechnics best define this movie as Stallone and Russle play two cops from the East and West side who cost the local drug lord big bucks by busting all of his drug deals, so he has them framed and sent to prison. They escape of course in order to clear their names and seek retribution. You could probobly find it on VHS for a few bucks at the local pawn shop.....just don't expect Shakespeare. Appriciate it for what it is.

Summary: This movie is not FUBAR at all!
Review: I love this film! Its no acadamey award winning preformance from Stallone or Russel, but do you ever watch an action movie expecting that?

This film is about 2 cops who work opisote ends of the city and there considered the #1 cops at the time! Stallone plays a sharp dressed cop , and Russel is the laid back smartass more cheaply dressed cop of the other side, but both cops are busting alot of drug deals and its pissing the drug lord whos making it off! (Jack Palance)! So the drug lord sets up a meeting where he will frame LA's two best cops who have done so much damage to his buisness and frame them for murder and make sure there going to jail! But his plan is not to leave them there! Watch it and find out what happens from there on! Also starring a vary of familluer faces like "Terri Hatcher" and .... errr....recignisable faces! But this is a great combination of two of the best in this great action adventure! For the right price i'd say buy it, but i wouldnt pay too much! It has no extras worth noting or any hidden eggs! I'd recomend a rental, as it does play on personal taste! And if your into explosians, action, a bit of voilence, and all blended in with some humoures antidotes, then this movie is for you!

Summary: Stallone & Rusell - an explosive combination
Review: I must say I'm a big fan of detective movies, and '80 were great time for that kind of films (action comedies, adventures...). We already had LETHAL WEAPON in that time, but this film really pushed the limits. Critics often say that this is a B-movie, but that is what they think. For me, this is one of the best Stallone's movies and he and Rusell are really good together as two heavy cops alway aguing and having a lot of troubles with Jack Palance, leader of some terrorist organization who send them to prison where they will meet their doom. Of course, they will win and the rest is to you to be seen. Don't listen the others who didn't like it - give your own oppinion (possitive, I hope).
