Summary: High Trash but great fun!
Review: You have to watch this movie for no other reason than to see Jay Robinson's hilarious, over-the-top performance as Caligua. A wooden Michael Rennee is St. Peter, Susan Haywood is in heat, and Victor Mature seems like he needs a scotch on the rocks. Earnest Borgnine, Debra Paget, and Richard Eagan round out the cast. Directed by Delmer Daves (Broken Arrow & Jubal were his best films) it has a rousing music score by Franz Waxman and Alfred Neuman. I loved it as a kid. It's trashy, but good fun.
