Summary: The Begining of a GREAT Franchise
Review: Chris Columbus hit a home run with this sequel, to what should become one of the greatest movie franchises of all time. Not only did it stay true to the book, but the special effects were incredible. In my opinion, the only other man who can touch him, only because he's the master, is George Lucas. These movies, contrary to popular belief, are not just for kids. I'm 29 and i enjoyed this movie alot. I can't wait for the rest of the movies to be released, along with the fifth book. So Ms.Rawling hurry up, and you too hollywood!

Review: Ok this movie was pretty good. It was pretty close to the book, but there were a lot of lines added, and they took out a bunch of the BEST PARTS. Other then that, though, it was good. The special FX were really good, and the basilisk looked real. Ok I hear all these girls talking about how they love Daniel Radciffe and stuff, it may just be me, but I don't think he makes a good Harry Potter at all. Heh, this movie was fun to watch because of Malfoy ^_^ Yey! Tom Felton rules, he makes a really good Malfoy!

Summary: A worthy sequel
Review: This movie deals with darker themes than the first film. Harry must confront malice and physical danger to a greater degree than in the first book, which is true to Rowling's writing. The visual and special effects are delightful, although, some of the shock of surprise was no longer there, as it was in the first film. I loved the tempermantal flying car, and the forbidden forest was REALLY dark, and its inhabitants truly frightening. At the start of the action, Harry Potter and friends have grown a year older and are returning to Hogwarts School. Since the actors have actually matured, this is quite seamless. There is a much greater exploration of secondary characters, as we are familiar with the primaries. Kenneth Brannaugh gives a delightfully uninhibited performance as the self advertising Dark Arts professor, Gilderoy Lockhart, truly a comic jem. Most of the action shows the growing maturity and deepening jepardy of the main charactes and is fundamentally serious in tone, with its themes of loyalty and the value of courage and self sacrifice. Professor Lockhart's selfishness and cowardice are a wonderul contrast. Because of the underlying seriousness of the film's themes, it is a darker and more sophisticated film. Excellent in all respects. Watch out for the young actress who plays Hermione, I predict she will grow into a major film actress.

Summary: Well Done
Review: Harry's back for another year at school and this episode is even better than the first one. Everything about Hogwarts comes to life beautifully. Kenneth Brannagh as the ham Defense against the dark arts teacher was brilliant. Even people who have never read the book or saw the first movie will enjoy this. My only concern is that the producers are goin to have to move fast on the next film because the young actors are going to be too mature for their roles soon.

Summary: Uncomparable book series: even better movie series
Review: Fabulously better than any movie seen this year, the Chamber of Secrets does more than just expand the Harry Potter movie series: it blasts away its predecessor by a long shot. While the Sorcerer's Stone was rightly so as a ridiculously faithful movie adaptation of Rowling's wonderful book, this movie is more than an adaptation of the so-so book sequel: it firmly establishes a new fantasy series that can only get better with age. It's fun, fantastic, creepy, and a surprise detective-style mystery that keeps you hooked even if you've read the book three or four previous times.
The special effects are superior, the acting is leagues improved over its predecessor (both by the child stars and impressive British supporting cast; except for poor John Cleese), and the story is actually more entertaining as a movie than a book; the Sorcerer's Stone suffered from a stupidly dull plot that worked much better as a book. Here it is the opposite.
Upon walking out of the theater, viewers will be even more satisfied than seeing the original Harry Potter, and (if you're like me and loved the third book) will clamour and pray that no other lead actors pass on before 2004 and Azkaban can be revealed in its true (and hopefully final film) glory.

Summary: Harry Potter--part 2
Review: Harry Potter is back with his friends Ron and Hermione for his second year at Hogwarts', despite the best efforts of his cruel uncle. Hogwarts' is now home to Harry and he declares it the only place where he has friends. A strange little creature appears in his bedroom and tries to disuade him from going back to school, but Harry is determined. Danger awaits Harry in the form of a mysterious secret chamber and some enemies who are jealous of his growing magical powers. This sequel is indeed darker and more intense than the first movie and goes from one crisis to another with breakneck speed. At times, the viewer might enjoy some more tranquil scenes to break the tension. Younger children may also be frightened by some of the hideous creatures in the form of snakes and spiders. All things, considered, however, this is still a creative and entertaining movie.

Summary: You still got it, Harry!
Review: I saw this movie twice. Now, you may think it's just because I've read the books at least three times, but it great! It's a movie you could see over and over and still like it. I laughed so hard that I cried both times. It was one of the best movies all around that I've ever seen in my life. (And considering a couple of other movies I've seen, that is saying something).
My favorite character is still Ron. My advice: DO NOT MISS THIS MOVIE! You will NOT regret your decision to see it.

Basically, Harry goes back to school and people are turning up turned to stone. Harry (with lots of help from Hermione and Ron)tries to solve the mystery of what's going on. I won't say anymore, you know, don't want to give away how it ends.

Summary: A Great Movie for A Great Book!
Review: Ok, I am one of the biggest freaks about Harry Potter! I have gone to all of the fan sites searching for new information about Order of the Phoenix, like many other diehard fans! This movie was beyond my expectations! I loved the 1st one(which I am watching once again now), and loved this one even more!

It honors the book in so many ways! True, my favorite part of this book was omitted from the movie(the Mr. Weasley and Mr. Malfoy fight scene), but I loved it all the same!

The young actors and actresses are much better in this one than in the first movie. I think it is great how we get to watch them grow up, just like the books! Harry speaking Parseltongue, Hermonine's crush on Lockhart, and Ron's comic relief, all fantastic!

Lockhart was absolutely fantastic in this! "It's just like magic!" He was just as goofy as I had imagined!

I nearly cried at the end with Richard Harris's last scene... He was just as good as in the first one, and we hope that his replacement can fill the seat of Dumbledore just as Harris had!

I can't say how much I loved this movie! I went and saw it twice the very first day it came out! I am obsessed!!

What made this film even better than the first one was how we saw a lot more magic. Everyone uses their wand a lot more, except Ron! The Burrow is full of amazing magical stuff! Floo Powder! Knockturn Alley!

Well, anyone who hasn't seen this movie should go right now! Right Now!!

and anyone who didn't like it, well, you have definitely lost the child in you, if there ever was on...
so let the kid in you come alive again!!!
