Summary: outstanding
Review: one of the finest vampire films ever mad

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: amazing
Review: The movie is just perfect. The only thing I didn't like about the DVD is the fact that there was no "full screen" version available. This small "technical" minus did upset me but the movie itself is just terrific, and I hope there will be Blade II

Summary: If you like action, this is your flick
Review: Wesley Snipes was just plain ol' ass kicking. He is one bad mofo in Blade. I didn't really care for the story, but Blade packed so many good action scenes, it makes it a worthy purchase. You'll also love the sound if your packing a nice home theater set up.

Summary: Comic hero comes ALIVE in your TV screen!!!
Review: The DVD format of the movie The Blade, is just outstanding. A great way to show to first time buyers. I'm totally impressed on the virtual reality effects of this production.

Summary: This is what DVD should be
Review: Not only is this one of the best Vampire flicks ever, the loads of extras on the disc show what DVD is capable of. Anyone putting out a movie on DVD should be shown Blade as an example of great DVD packaging. Snipes and Dorf rock in this movie, and watching it let me forgive Hollywood for John Carpenter's Vampires. Where this release really shines is in the extra details that pull you into the production side of the movie. After I watched the alternate ending and heard the thoght that went into the filming decisions of those scenes, I had a heightened appreciation for the finished film. A must for Horror/vampire movie enthusiasts.

Summary: One of the best DVD's yet. Great movie too.
Review: Blade is a great comic book action flick. Marvel comics should be proud and happy about this one. It tends to feel a little long at the end, but otherwise it is a highly entertaining and all around great film. The DVD is where this film truly shines, and not just because of DVD's great quality of picture and sound, but because of this one's great features. It is one of the best I've seen in its content, including the alternate ending, film commentary, music score commentary, cut-scenes, art direction featurette, make-up featurette, etc. It truly gives you a complete overview not just of what went into the making of this movie, but into the making of movies in general, giving it an educational value as well. If you enjoyed the film, then this is a must buy DVD. If you don't like vampires or dark films in general, then this title is definitely not for you.

Summary: HAIKU MOVIE REVIEW:
Review: Total waste of time. Too gross and ridiculus. Only sunglasses win

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Snipes was awesome!!
Review: Wesley Snipes shined in this movie, just like he does in all his movies. There was no one who could have portrayed Blade better than Wesley Snipes. Blade was translated well from comic book on to the big screen, unlike other Marvel heroes, ie Captain America, The Punisher. Over all, I really enjoyed the movie.

Summary: Pretty much another comic book to movie conversion...
Review: I've never been a fan of comic book super heroes including comic to movie conversions such as Judge Dredd and Barb Wire. I enjoyed the Superman movie many years ago and that was about it. Somehow vampires and karate just don't seem to go together. I prefer the more gothic Salem's Lot and Dracula styles. I enjoy slasher/blood/gore/supernatural movies and I think my favourite has to be Wes Craven's Scream.

Summary: Brilliant movie, lots of action and excellent special effect
Review: The movie kept me glooed to the screen right from the start. There was pleanty of action with amazing special effects. The music covered the movie with lots of tension and suspense. Modren Vampire's in Blade are definitely more attractive than other movies I seen. I enjoyed the whole movie and I hope to see Part 2. ( highly recommended )
