Summary: Good at first, but then just turns boring and repetitive
Review: Blade has drawn comparison to New Line Cinema's other comic book movie,Spawn. I have to say Spawn was better, but not by much. Blade featured a good opening sequence with Wesley Snipes as the title character laying waste to a nightclub full of vampires. But after that, it's all the same thing. Spawn was a bit repetitive but at least it brought the tone up a bit with a fantastic villain with Violator. Blade's worst enemy is a rather lame villain named Deacon Frost who doesn't do much of anything impressive. There's not even any humor in this film to lighten things up. From Dusk Til Dawn was better because it didn't pretend to be anything but a campy parody of horror films. Also, when Blade discovers his mother is still alive but as a vampire, he doesn't even seem to hesitate to kill her. This problem could have been left for the second film or he could have given his mother the cure Dr. Jenson created. Then there's the typical and very predictable climax with the final fight between Frost and Blade that ends rather quickly. The ending promises a sequel that I hope will be a lot better.

Review: The action sequences are very good, but the rest of the movie is a waste of time. Since when are thousand-year old vampire shrines buried under New York City? Vampire sunscreen? Stupid. And for the last time stop trying to scientifically explain and cure vampires. They are supernatural and should stay that way.

Review: Great action, an in depth, captivating plot, and Wesley Snipes. Who could ask for more? The thing that makes this movie so good is that the good guy- Blade- isn't perfect. Yes he's got awesome abilities, and seems indestructable, but he's just as mortal as everyone else. This is a great movie, and one you HAVE to see at least once. I've seen it twelve times!

Review: I really enjoyed this movie because I liked the special effects and martial arts. The action went from beginning to end. It kept me at the edge of my seat because I didn't know what to expect from scene to scene. I hope there will be a Blade part-two, I would definitely see it!

Review: This movie is brill, excellent on DVD but junky on video. I saw this in America and when i saw it on video in Britain they had completly cut it. If you want to buy this movie buy it on DVD. Im telling you, Wesley Snipes is soooooooo sexy and so is Stephen Dorff, the gore is all there and so is the action. EVERYONE SEE THIS MOVIE IF NOTHING ELSE! Bring on Blade 2.

Review: i used to be so obbsessed with the movie blade, but now im getting over it a little.but i still absolutley praise this magnificent movie, the main reason i loved this movie was stephen dorff's character "deacon frost"......not only is he sexy, he also brouhgt depth and mystery to the film, he was the best part of the film!! the only part i didnt get about this movie is when frost called the blood gad "la magra" and the world was supposed to turn into a bunch of vampires right? well anyways, i still loved the whole movie, if you havent seen it, go see it.
