Review: Armageddon is the best new release that I've seen in ages. It's definately the most well done action movie that I've seen a long time. When I saw it I ran the full gambit of emotions. The movie had me laughing, somber, and crying. Bruce Willis was suberb, simply the best action performance that he's had since the Die Hard movies. A must see for everyone!!!

Review: Armaegeddon was a great movie. I saw it twice and each time it was just as good. It'll make you cry and laugh as well. The two lead male actors are outstanding with a fairly good role as the lead female played be Liv Tyler. There was a lot of good action sequences that kept you on the edge of your seat. The acting between Tyler and Willis and Tyler and Affleck was great. Overall, it was a great movie and I suggest it to everyone!

Review: What a cheesy movie! And yet they kept putting more cheese in it. You will not enjoy it if you know anything about physics. This movie was made for the MTV teenagers.

Review: I strongly think that this IS the best movie of the summer. Some people might not think so and criticize but, what do they know. Apparently some of these people need to learn how to spell (A viewer from Nowhere, USA-Dec. 5, 1998)! But really if you haven't seen this movie you have to. It is heart felt, action packed, keeps you on the edge of your seat and had great acting. So bravo to Willis and Afflect! It's a movie that will make you cry, smile and laugh. It's one of those movies that makes lyou think of what you would do for your daughter, family, and friends. It's what your willing to give up and do for humanity. I have purchased the movie and I love it! And I strongly believe that you will too. So don't waste time, go out and get it!

Summary: The Nadir of Big Budget Entertainment
Review: There have always been colossally inept big budget films - "Ishtar" and "Waterworld" being two of the worst - but few so potently offensive at this. What is so appaling in this flick is the arrogant contempt that the director Michael Bay and his corporate backers have in the intelligence of the moviegoing public. The movie has the aesthetics of a rowdy beer commercial during the Super Bowl. The dialogue consists mainly of exclamations as if anything resembling a conversation would put us to sleep. No shot lasts more than 3 seconds so that our exceedingly fragmented attention spans won't get overtaxed. Aerosmith and other loud rock music blows us away anytime there might be something resembling a lull in the scenario. The entire movie tells us over and over that we're morons; that we can't follow a developed dramatic structure, that we're impatient with dialogue which reveals more than a series of commands or endorsements, and that we have to be jolted every 15 seconds to keep watching. Sadly, the American public justified the filmmakers' contempt of them- this was one of the highest grossing films of the year and a solid sales leader in the video stores.

Review: Those people who don't share the vision of America's greatness are out to destroy this movie by trashing it as "corny". They would also have you believe there is no such thing as a "popcorn" movie that's just there to entertain. Sure, it won't be popular in the coffee houses and opium dens where these rejects hang out but if you're looking for an overall entertaining, visual delightful movie this one ranks in the top 10 of 1998. Enjoy, and decide for yourself.

Review: This movie was so great that I had to see it twice in the theater, and I've owned it for only a week, and I've seen it 5 times. I'm so afraid that my video will get fuzzy. The action was unbelievable, and the plot was excellent. Some people say that it was dumb because it had too many things break down, but I beg your pardon, that's the reality of life. This movie was the best I've seen in along time. I want to commend the whole cast. This was a brilliant piece of work.
