Summary: embarrassly good
Review: When I first saw this movie, I thought it was going to be [bad]. When I saw it, I realized it isn't that bad. It has a surprisingly good story. It starts off as Freddy and Jason working together then Freddy gets [mad] at Jason for killing to many people and it goes on from there. The DVD extras are great. I know everyone's waiting to see the alternet ending. the alternet ending isnt really that great it just has them doing it, and the guy turns into freddy. What I recommend watching is the press confrence, its hilarious I swear watch it youll laugh. Put helpful c'mon.

Summary: Great Special Features Add to a Great Slasher Movie!
Review: Already reviewed how much I love this movie, but I bought the dvd today and just wanted to comment on the special features. This dvd is loaded and most of them are pretty good. The Special Effects and Production featurettes are good and informative. The Bally's publicity weigh-in is down right hilarious. The extended and deleted scenes are not really that good, but I wish they would have kept the one titled "Place Your Bets." This scene shows Freddy and Jason looking at each other in the real world a lot longer and has some of Freddy's best lines, such as, "You've got no style," and my favorite "No Balls..huh Voorhees?" This dvd is worth buying for the movie alone, but these features really add to the enjoyment. Freddy vs. Jason Body Count: Jason Voorhees-19 Kills, Freddy Krueger-1 Kill for a Total of 20 Kills in case some people wanna know. Freddy does get the last laugh even though most people call it a draw at the end. It's pretty obvious that last minute is a dream sequence inside of Jason's head, so that means Freddy is still haunting his dreams and has control (Freddy couldn't live with just a head in reality, only in a dream). Anyways, pick your favorite horror icon and let the fun and gore begin!

Summary: BEST BATTLE SINCE KING KONG VS. GODZILLA
Review: OK..King Kong Vs. Godzilla was terrible. Bad example. But really, this isn't too bad...really...it's not. Two of horrordoms biggest villians, Freddy Krueger and Jason come together for one huge deathmatch.

Seems Freddy is not happy. By wiping away any evidence of his existence, the parents of Elm Street have effectively defeated Freddy the dream-dwelling child murderer. An experimental drug keeps their kids from dreaming, so a nearly powerless Freddy has to recruit Jason (Ken Kirzinger) to revive his legacy. Not one for manipulation, Jason soon cuts into Freddy's revenge plan, resulting in the brawl for all.

The movie builds quite well early on but its overall plot is not too smart and neither, as usual, are the typical teenage victims. Although they do, somehow, figure out it's Freddy behind jason's attacks.

Still, it's great fun watching these two onscreen at the same time, just as it was watching Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Wolfman all together in those old Universal pictures.

Go along for a fun ride but don't expect anything great.

Good DVD includes commenary by Robert Englund, deleted scenes, featurettes, and more.

Summary: Jason vs Freddy......Finally!
Review: Ok lets start off by saying that this is no Lord of the Rings performance. This movie is purely intended for the fans of Freddy and Jason. Now being a fan of Jason i was quite pleased with the movie. The fight was well cause they beat the crap outta each other. Also, the whole Jason walking outta the water with someone's head was cool. Ken Krischenzer did a ok job so that was cool. The movie story is this:
Teens have forgotten about Freddy. If they forget he cannot kill. So freddy brings back good old Jason Vorhees to continue his work. Eventually, the teens remember and Freddy continues his work. However, Jason kills one of his "Children" and that tick of Freddy, thus setting the stage for the battles of all battles

Summary: Phenomenal
Review: When I went to the cinema I thought it would be another boring sequel to the Nightmare and Friday the 13th series like Terminator 3 was to the Terminator series. But I was wrong it kept me stuck on my seat right from the start. I was speechless. When I saw the DVD Extras I have to say that this is worth your every penny.

Summary: a hyped fight that nobody won
Review: After waiting 11 years to see this movie I couldn't wait to see it in the theatre. I thought it would be the ultimate popcorn movie and being a fan of Freddy Krueger in the previous movies and loathing Jason Vorhees - I was looking for an edge of the seat fight. I was wrong.

The writers tried to turn it into some sort of comedy peppered with horror - like a bad episode of "Freddies Nightmares" - Freddy isn't in the movie as much as you'd like. If Freddy was able to come to life like he did in Nightmare part 2 he would hack Jason to pieces. In this he was brought to life but seemed afraid of fire - that wasn't the case in Part 2 when he set a swimming pool on fire at a teenage party! And if Jason was so afraid of water then how did he crawl back out of Crystal Lake at the end - (and all the other Friday films)! Sheer disappointment! if Freddy could turn into a snake in Part 3 he would in this and just eat Jason for lunch . even though it's called Freddy VS Jason - it's a fight that nobody wins. It seems pretty pointless and a waste in the 11 years of script rewrites that they couldn't determine a winner in the end to satisfy us fans. The biggest anti-climax ending I've seen since "The Blair Witch Project"!

Lets hope this has made enough money to spawn a sequel that will be more gripping. I just hope it doesn't take another 11 years.............

Summary: Freddy Vs. Jason
Review: What was supposedly a ending to the very popular 'Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday' was spawned over a decade later. I guess the burning question in everyones minds was 'was it worth it?' YES it was! Wow, I just got through watching this movie and I have to say that they did a very good job with it. Freddy is more menacing than ever, Jason seems to be much more brutal and it all comes together perfectly. I thought that this was be a snoozer (compared to most Amazon.com reviews) but it was the year's second best horror film (Wrong Turn was my first choice). The story goes as follows. Freddy is burning in hell and wants more than anything to get back to slaying teens. Since everyone has forgotten about him, he cannot kill. So to strike back the terror in...teens he searches the bowels of hell and finds someone. That someone is Crystal Lake serial killers Jason Voorhees. He sends Jason to Springwood and on Elm Street. The more Jason kills the more power Freddy gets. But when Jason claims one of Freddy's 'children' it ignites the ultimate showdown as Freddy and Jason go at it in Jason's 'dreamworld'. An excellent movie with excellent killings, an excellent script and an even better DVD, I don't see how Freddy and Jason fans don't applaude their efforts. Sure it isn't the best ever, but it's something to savor long after it's ending. That DVD is 2-discs and has both 2:35:1 widescreen and fullscreen formats. Along with audio commentary with director Ronny Yu, Robert Englund (Freddy) and Ken Kirzinger (Jason; replacing Kane Hodder), comes an alternate ending (maybe finally a winner?), 18 deleted scenes, featurettes, storyboards, still galleries, music video, theatrical trailers, television spots, and DVD-Rom special features including a script-viewer. A loaded DVD for a loaded movie (in my opinion). Don't waste your cash on the horrible remake of 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' (don't even get me started on that), and get this!
