Summary: This ain't that bad.
Review: Some people say that True Lies is one of the movies that are really overrated. But it ain't that bad. It may be because I'm a Cameron & Schwalzenneger fan, but for real, I mean it. When I see James Cameron's films, I can see a pretty good story. But this one doesn't have a good story. It's the action and preposterous ideas Cameron shows us this time what he didn't show it to us. Action here means real total action. Not like T series or Aliens, but TOTAL action. Like a no-brainer. Arnold was as cool as he were and the dancing scene by Jamie Lee Curtis was...... You know. I give it 3.5 out of 5.

Summary: The conversion to 5.1 Digital Audio is EXCELLENT....
Review: If you liked True Lies on VHS in Pro-Logic, then you ABSOLUTLEY MUST HEAR it in DIGITAL...Most movies "converted" from Pro Logic to Digital tend to still sound like Pro Logic. Not this one the THX remaster is OUTSTANDING...TO hear the difference for yourself just play the opening action sequence in Pro Logic (audio track one) then watch it agian in Digital (Audio track two).. You will be amazed...Have any friends who are unsure about switching to DvD..Do that demonstration and they will be convinced.... The THX labs should get an award for this one...

Summary: Picture Quality one of the best ever seen on DVD
Review: The picture quality of the True Lies DVD is one the best I have ever seen. It is sharp and crytal clear. The digital sound track was also very good, not as good as others I have heard but still very good.

Summary: Has Some Good Moments
Review: True Lies is quite fascinating to watch. The effects are some of the best I've seen, and this is one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's better movies. Tom Arnold puts in a great performance, and there are some funny moments from time to time. Bill Paxton also turns out a good performance. The plot's not that great though, and the movie is a little too long. Other than those two things, this is still a movie that's worth a watch; especially for the special effects. Not bad.

Summary: Oh yeah! He is Back.
Review: I'm a great fan of Schwarzenegger. True Lies is not only great but the High Tech used in this movie is incredible. Great casts too. You should buy the DVD format of this movie. The sound qualtity is 'Da Bumb'. Great feature design. You'll enjoy this movie form the beginning 'til the end.

Summary: The DVD is outstanding
Review: This is, IMO, the best Arnold film ever. It is non stop action and excitement from the beginning. Adventure, romance, suspense, comedy - it's got it all! Okay, now to the DVD review. The transfer is one of the best I've seen, the sound is superb in Dolby Digital 5.1, this is a THX enhanced video and audio DVD. The downfall, DVD features are extrememly lacking, how about behind the scenes footage, or director/actor commentary; maybe a SE version in the future? But if you want a great DVD for pure enjoyment and you like Arny, this is it! The transfer from layers is done at a dark spot which is nice, some DVD's do it in the middle of a scene making for a more disturbing transition as the audio and video pause for a couple seconds... The main menu is pretty nice though, but the features are seriously lacking. You must also go in and set up the dolby 5.1 channel as it will automatically go into 2 channel.

Summary: The combination of action and humor makes this movie rock!
Review: The Cameron/Schwarzenagger duo make for good entertainment. Surround and visual effects are good. If you liked Mission Impossible, you'll probably like this.

Summary: Cool Dude!
Review: This movie rules! How Jamie Lee and her husband both seem to turn out to be their opposites is so cool dude! Gotta see it!

Summary: a fitting high for Arnold
Review: This movie I would rank amoung the best ever, mostly thanks to the perfect combination of Cameron and Schwarzenegger. It is a fine addition to Schwarzenegger's list of outstanding movies, the others being the Terminator duo, Conan the Barbarian, Predator and Total Recall. It is also a good high after some of the stinkers he has been doing, Junior and Batman & Robin being the most notable. This movie's action is in a class of it's own. James cameron is the undisputed master of action, the sequences are slick, and even manage to be funny, he never stops to amaze me. Personally I am a huge fan of Arnold's and I loved this movie almost as much as T2.

Summary: HERES A TRUE LIE....THIS MOVIE BLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Why even start on this movie? It has a paper thin plot and terrible acting and really does nothing for anyone. Jamie Lee Curtis was annoying and the only time she was cool was when she was dancing and when she smashed the one way mirror with a stool. I really found Tom Arnold funny (thats not a typo, really, he was funny) and Shwartz was just awful. Well, seeing as how it was from Mr.Titanic, you can guess the quality of the film right?
