Review: SWORDFISH is a thrill-machine action movie all the way! The plot concerns a computer hacker who is hired by a antiterrorist to help him hack into a government security computer system and steal $9.5 million in drug money and transfer that into his own computer account. The film also has explosions, car chases, suspense, gun fights, sexy women, and much more! John Travolta, Hugh Jackman, and Halle Berry round out the supporting cast and they all do an outstanding job of playing there characters. I can not wait till this movie comes out on DVD.

Summary: Amazing movie...
Review: When i saw the previews of this movie, i thought the name was kinda goofy, but when i went and saw it at the movie theatre with my friends, i thought this movie kicked butt. it was awesome. basically, the movie is about a guy who is blackmailed into helping a high tech thief steal alot of money. the main character is Stanley, played by Hugh jackman, who i think is cool, and is hired by Travolta, who always plays awesome bad guys. the great things about this movie are 1) the action scenes and the way the film is shot with the different colored hues than normal lite gives it a high tech sweet look 2) the awesome car 3) the really cool beginning and ending, and 4) the most important : halle berry's amazing topless scene. any guy who saw this movie and thinks that scene is pointless, is the biggest nerd ever. this movie was an awesome guy movie, and anybody who wants to get an awesome movie to watch while drinking and hanging out with your friends, GET THIS MOVIE!

Summary: Another dumb hollywood flick
Review: This movie is an insult to the viewers intelligence, the script is full of omissions and illogical totally unbelievable events. The plot made me laugh,its so bad and so stupid (just as much as the plot of MI2)Some people here compare it somehow to the Matrix, well thats definitly not the case here. The matrix was very cleverly written. I will not go into detail as not to spoil anything for if people still wanna see this movie but I'll give one example of how stupid it is; The FINNISH computer hacker and his FINNISH lawyer were speaking in GERMAN with each other. Not even proper German cause it sounded like Americans who had learned German. The studio must have thought ooh what the heck nobody will notice the difference, all these foreign languages sound the same anyway...You get my point. I gave it 1 star cause some of the action sequences were ok.

Summary: Clever and innovative
Review: This film is amazing. Ignore everything the critics have said - I can only assume that they [dont] understand the plot and follow it's twists. Yes there is a plot - and a very clever one, with some great ideas and twists. The techniques used in filming this are very clever too, and as others have said it is very real - the charachters all make believable, realistic decisions and act believably. There isn't loads of action in the film, though what there is is excellent, but it will make you think very hard about some things ...

Summary: Terrorists Watch Out, America Will get YOU and your FAMILY'S
Review: This movie does not depict Travolta as a villain. He is our shadow government's answer to terrorism in the world. He and his team specialize in attacking terrorists that threaten American liberties in the world at large. That Travolta's character has to resort to extraordinary means to obtain the tools and money his commission requires is logical and necessary since no government or private individuals can publically and legally support such actions. The justification of "harming a few, to protect the many" is the theme of the movie, in case anyone missed it!

Review: The opening scene of this movie is simply one of the best action sequences I've ever seen in a movie since the Matrix. I'd buy the movie just for that scene alone. Set in a high tech world high stakes espionage and intrigue, one man (Travolta) has the power to make the world his playground -- but he needs money to finance it. Enter Stanly Jobson, one of the best hackers to walk the face of the earth, to help pull off one of the largest cyberspace robberies ever. Threaten his daughter and you've got him wrapped around your finger -- or so you think.If you were to mix great action with suspense, a unique blend of characters and a great story you'd get "Swordfish", an incredible high-tech high-stakes action thriller that will have you glued to your seat. One of the things that impressed me is that the writers had a fairly impressive understanding of the high tech things they were writing about. Two thumbs up!

Summary: Enjoyable movie
Review: the moment i loved this movie was after i saw the explosion scene in the beginning... it was amazing!... seein it in the theater with the big screen and the full sound effect... i was so amazed... i wish i had a camera with me to take little photographs or something... and the scene where the guys got shot through the not see through glass was very stylish and i enjoyed that part too.. i like the sound effect used... overall this movie was enjoyable to watch.. i wasnt dissapointed at the end, Hugh Jackman is such a great actor, after x-men, i truly respected him and his skills.. well maybe Gabriel was a magician himself or something... they made the 1 minute hacking scenes very intense... the music with Paul Okenfield was good..(i forgot how to spell his last name) blah blah blah isnt htis such a bad review? IT WAS A GoOD MOVIE, INTENSE SCENES, AND GREAT SPECIAL EFFECT SCENE!

Summary: Matrix-Style Cyber Thriller!
Review: John Travolta, Hugh Jackman and Don Cheadle give great preformances in this cyber-thriller that makes a great movie. Hally Berry gives a less then steller preformance, however I was told most guys saw it because there was a rumor that Hally Berry exposed her chest for the first time. It's true, but her preformance isn't that good. Hugh Jackman is turning out to be a great actor who is climbing to the top of the Hollywood ladder. Not one of Travolta's best, but he still makes a great psycho-killer. And Don Cheadle gives a good preformance as well. Combine that with cool special effects and amazing shoot-out scenes, you've got yourself a great techno-thriller.
