Summary: Better Than The Book!
Review: The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers is better than the book! It is very intense and exciting! This movie has to be the best movie of 2002 and there is no doubt about that!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Brilliant!
Review: This movie is, and always will be, brilliant! The action, adventure, and drama The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers has to offer is wonderful! The Battle for Helms Deep was the best thing in this movie! And lets not forget Frodo coming face to face with a flying Nazgul! And when the ents attacked Isengard that was very excititing. The Two Towers is a masterpiece! It is better than it's fantastic prequel The Fellowship of the Ring.

Summary: Outstanding!
Review: I do not have much to say about this amazing movie! All I will say to you is to buy this movie on VHS or DVD when it is released in stores since it is not in theaters anymore. "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" was a bombshell!

Summary: Peter Jackson Has Done It Again!
Review: Another installment of "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "The Two Towers", proves to be better than it's wonderful prequel "The Fellowship of the Ring". "The Two Towers" movie was a HUGE phenomenon! It was the winner of three Bafta Awards, one Film Critics Choice Award, and two Academy Awards. All of those awards are well deserved and for great achievment in filmmaking. If "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" and it's prequel, "The Fellowship of the Ring" were two huge phenomenons, then I wonder how wonderful "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" will be! "The Return of the King" is the sequel to "The Fellowship of the Ring" and "The Two Towers". It is also the third, and last, movie of director Peter Jackson, and crews, "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy.

Summary: IT TOWERS ABOVE ALL THE OTHER MOVIE I HAVE SEEN IN 2002!
Review: THIS MOVIE WAS BREATH TAKING! WHEN I THOUGHT DIRECTOR PETER JACKSON, AND HIS CREW, WOULD ONLY DO A WONDERFUL JOB ON MAKING "THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING" COME TO LIFE; I WAS AMAZED TO SEE "THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS" IN THEATERS! "THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS" MOVIE DOES HOLD TRUE TO THE AUTHOR J.R.R. TOLKIENS "THE LORD OF THE RINGS" BOOK TRILOGY LIKE "THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING" DID BACK IN LATE 2001. "THE TWO TOWERS" MOVIE IS A LOT BETTER THAN IT'S PREQUEL "THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING".

Summary: The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Review: "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" is a brilliant movie by director Peter Jackson! The special effects, cinematography, art direction, and music (score) were all fantastic! This movie is filled with action, adventure, drama, a little romance, fantasy, and fun. Even though this movie did not perfectly follow the author J.R.R. Tolkiens "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy book, which I have read, that does not mean that this is a bad movie. I, for one, can actually understand why Peter Jackson, and his crew, cut, added, and changed some parts to it. The actors and actresses did a wonderful job on acting in this movie. They also did a wonderful job on acting like the characters from the book. There are a lot of fantasy characters brought to life, from the book, on this movie such as: many orcs, some trolls, some oliphaunts, the ring-wraiths, the Gollum creature, ents, elves, dwarves, wizards, and hobbits. Peter Jackson chose to direct this movie in New Zealand, which was the perfect country to direct "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy movies. This movie is the winner of two Oscars (Academy Awards)! Congratulations to director Peter Jackson and his crew! I highly recommend you see "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" movie in theaters and (or) buy it on VHS or DVD because it is a perfect five star and two thumbs up movie! This movie is also filled with true amazement! "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" is better than its prequel "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring", and that movie was wonderful!

Summary: One Ring To Rule Them All
Review: "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" is the best movie of 2002! The action, adventure, drama, romance, fantasy, and fun this movie has to offer makes it outstanding! Not only was this the most anticipated movie of 2002, but it was the BEST movie of 2002! I saw it four times in theaters; and I would see it again if it was still out in theaters. "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" is a lot better than it's awsome prequel "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring". "The Two Towers" is phenomenal and mind blowing!

Summary: Too long between segments
Review: I am concerned that these great segments of Lord of the Rings are suffering due to the very long time elapsing between the showing of segments. People I know, who are not dyed in the wool Tolkien fans and saw the first segment, have lost their enthusiasm and don't care about seeing the other two segments, especially when there is a one year wait for the final segment.Six months would have been too long for any continuity and a year is turning out to be rediculous. If you are a Tolkien fan you may not agree with this, but talk to your friends who are not fans and see how little they care. These unfortunately are the people who by buying tickets will insure the success of this type of film. If the movie doesn't make a lot of money it will not be considered a success. I have heard that among the Lord of the Rings personnel there was considerable objection to waiting a year between the release of segments, but they were outvoted by the "Hollywood Money Men" This great movie, refered to as a "fairy story" by many of todays movie goers appeals to only a small audience, and to capitalize onthe initial enthusiasm, the following segments should have come no more than three months apart. I understand attendance for the second segment was appreciably below the first segment. Guess what it will be for the final segment.

Summary: Breath Taking!
Review: "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" is breath taking and there is no doubt about that! The acting was superb, the special effects were the best I have seen in a movie, and the music (score) was amazing! I am dissapointed that Andy Serkis, the actor who played Gollum, was not nominated for an Oscar. Oh well, maybe next year. "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" is the best movie of 2002!

Summary: Where is the nobility?
Review: I truly enjoyed the movie, and saw it in the theatre more than once - a rarity for me. However, my complaint remains the same as it was in the first film; where has the nobility and integrity gone? The story was dark in the original Tolkien works, but there was always a feeling that there was still good and beauty in the world. Now Aragon seems afraid and alternately wretchedly ashamed and proud of his ancestry, Elrond is bitter, Gimli is a pathetic joke gone wrong, Eomer is nowhere to be seen and the Ents are dried up old twigs while Faramir is a grasping, greedy fool. I think much of the point of the story was that even in the darkest times there are people of good heart that evil can't break and that together, even if only in small ways, they can stand against the tide and make things turn out for the better. If Jackson had kept more of that tone - left a few good guys in the film other than Frodo and his companions it would have been a better film.
All in all it was still a great movie - but this one strayed a little too far from Tolkien's work for my taste.
