Summary: The best pure Fantasy movie ever.
Review: Star Wars is probably the best fantasy flick ever but that's also Sci Fi. In my opinion the Fantasy genre has been underrepresented on the big screen. Most are 'B' movies with no budget and nobody actors. Willow is absolutely incredible. The acting was top notch and so was the musical score. The story; everything was great! I recommend the trilogy written by Chris Claremont. The Shadow War Trilogy picks up about a year after Willow ended. This movie is just incredible and I CAN'T WAIT until it comes out on DVD. I would love to see more Willow movies. Depending on how the Lord of the Rings turns out in my opinion it's just the greatest fantasy movie on the big screen of all time!

Summary: i love this movie
Review: This movie is my all time favorite. I've been watching it all my life. I used to bring it with me on vacations (which is how I lost my first copy). I love it so very very much. Its very funny, but you have to pay attention or you'll miss something and you won't understand. But, if you pay attention, you'll like it.

Summary: A Classic
Review: I saw Willow the day it came out so many years ago and was amazed by how magical it was. The villians are pure evil and the heros...well they can be heroic, but that tend to have a lot of amusing problems. Val Kilmer is totally insane and funny as Mad Mardigan. Warwick Davis does a good job as willow, but the Brownies [take the cake].. The constant trouble making and bickering is just too dang funny. This is a great movie with a plot comparable to The Lord of the Rings, so if you like that kind of stuff you'd like Willow

Summary: One of the classics
Review: Willow is one of my all time favorite movies. My family and I have enjoyed watching it for years. My brothers and I can recite the entire movie too each other. I myself think it is the best portrayl of the whole wizard and warrior theme. Who better to be a swordsman than Val Kilmer his humor and athletisism create the character Mad Mardigan. A story like this would not have done so well if it weren't for Warwick Davis(Willow) who would of ever thought to put midgets in a movie like this; that person is none other than the TV star/director Ron Howard(Opie) After all said and done this movie is great and I'll show it to my kids when I get older.

Summary: WILLOW - DVD November 27 2001
Review: At long long last! Finally WILLOW has made it's way to the DVD format. For anyone who has yet to see this gem, I suggest getting hold of the DVD as soon as you can - you will not be dissapointed. It's a shame that there aren't more movies like this one. A movie for all the family and one not to be missed.

I wonder if this will have the EPII teaser trailer onboard as an easter egg?

WOOHOO!!!

Summary: Willow Ufgood
Review: Willow is one of the best fantasy movies of the 1980s. It has a great plot, and a funny little main character. It gets a little wacky when they all turn into pigs. The funniest parts are the Brownies and Madmartigan in a dress. If you want to know more about Willow, there is a trilogy of books that takes off from the end of this movie, and the first is "Shadow Moon." They are just as good as the movie is.

Summary: A Wonderful Escape
Review: I first discovered the film Willow when I was around the age of 12 - but even now, some seven years later, I still find it to be one of the best films ever made. It's direction, casting, story and soundtrack prove to be a wonderful combination of believable but imaginative fantasy that you can escape into whether you're an 8yr old child or a 30yr old critic. It doesn't age nor get tiresome because the characters are so well-written that you care about them enough to follow the entire story through and want more. Val Kilmer's character is not over-played, corny one-liners and perfect special FX don't cloud the viewer and James Horner's atmospheric mood music yet again doesn't fail to incorporate the necessary emotion to make this film one of the best.

It's simply a movie you can escape into from the disappointing norms of ordinary life. Why aren't there more films like this?!
