Summary: Wonderful
Review: This movie has everything. Just watch it!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Truly Stunning! Amazing!
Review: This is one of the most incredible movies I have ever seen, and believe me I watch nearly anything from this century. It is truly incredible! Mel Gibson as William Wallace was a heartbreaker! How could you not love him? And the rest of the cast was stunning! Robert The Bruce, the Princess Isabelle, Longshanks ... everyone was perfect! One of my favorite characters was even practically an extra- well, not quite. They seemed to have developed nearly every character - they made you care! You despised those who you were meant to hate, and admired and loved those whom you were supposed to like. Everyone did such a superb job! It's just dazzling! The storyline was tragic AND HAD SUBSTANCE, and so much better than any of the fluff movies I've seen lately. (Namely Titanic - which was tragic and tear worthy, but still fluff). I cannot remember when I first saw it, but I do remember being overwhelmed. I cried practically through the entire thing! And the music! What can I say? I admire James Horner the most for Braveheart -which I think was Oscar worthy- and without his talent in that incredible score, the movie would most definitely not be quite as good! And the ending ... it gives you the most incredible feeling - I cannot describe it! It truly is my favorite movie of all time - yes even more than Gond With The Wind - and the best I've ever seen. You cannot help but applaude EVERYONE who contributed to the film, from the stars to the hairstylest! (And I think it would be smart to shut up right now! I tend to ramble about this epic :) -WATCH IT! IT GETS BETTER EVERYTIME!!!

Summary: Irish folklore at it's best
Review: What can't you say, great plot and exciting story that never dies down.Mel is at his peak, nobody could of done better. Battles were realistic, showing lifelike strategies of the greatest of all origen (IRISH). There were a few mess ups but not any major flaws. Mel Gibson deserved all of his awards. Truly in my mind the greatest movie of all time.

Summary: Demonstrative of the Chaos that is Battle
Review: A history teacher of mine once remarked to me that the soldiers who fought in medieval wars had to be psychotic to line up in such a fashion and charge each other in such a manner. This film has wonderfully dramatic battle sequences that will see you saying "There's been nothing but bloodshed for 10 minutes now." and then at the end, looking at the aftermath and saying "we didn't see that many people die."

This film also offers an insightful reflection on the nature of patriotism, and the steps a people will, and perhaps must, take to insure their personal rights and liberties.

Summary: VEEY SIMPLE - THE BEST MOVIE IN THE LAST 15 YEARS
Review: PHENOMENAL. Great battle scens, complex political plot, occasional humor, intense drama. There are no negative aspects to this film - the ruthless, potteresque english king vs. the brave scottish rebels. There's nothing better than that.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: legendary patriot
Review: This tale of patriotism and history shows William Wallace as a Scottish nationalist who would not give up his pride to capture the one passion of his life - freedom. His crusade turns into rage as Wallace(Gibson), fights the English for independence. Many bloody battle scenes may shock the viewer but are necesary for the true agony the story shows for the Scot's try for freedom.

Summary: Are the Scots able to just walk ?
Review: Did you notice that the Scottish rebels never walk? They are only seen fighting or running. What I wonder about now is, how do they manage to spend always that masses of energy? I really like this film, but I always watch out for the little impossible details in films. I must admit Braveheart is one of the best films with very few such details. I really enjoyed it, watching a scenery in the Scottish Highlands and an elegy telling the story of a man that is so convinced of his ideals that he is ready to die for it. And with his belief he can convince a whole nation and give them the pride to fight for their right.

Summary: Trivial story with historical background
Review: This is the best film I have ever seen (I didn't see any other film;-). Now seriously: It's a good film based on historical reality. The historic background is well directed. The battles are very good and convey a real image of the war between Scotland and England. The rest of the film is a bit too trivial. It's a typical Hollywood production. There is a hero who lost his wife and now fights for his poor countrymen against the big England. Who does this really (except Ché Guevara?). But the film shows us that we must fight for our rights and freedom and should never lose the hope to reach our goals, if the worst comes to the worst with violence.
