Summary: Read the Book!!!!
Review: I read the book before I watched the movie which always makes the book better, but I would recomend reading the book and not watching the movie. The Princess Bride by Goldman is one of my favorite books. The paragraph summing up the book in the first couple pages is the best. If you have already seen the movie go read the book. You might be surprized.

Review: Good family entertainment. Has all the elements of a great movie and does it without any bad language or nudity! This movie proves that Hollywood still can make family entertainment when it wants to.

Summary: William Goldman did not let me down
Review: For many years this had been among my favourite books so it was with mounting concern that I waited for the initial release (Yes I'm that old!). Do you know the horrible moment when someone turns one of your quintessential books into a film - and ruins it! By the time it was released I could hardly bear to watch....BUT IT WAS PERFECT. Every character was exactly the way I had imagined them. The story was just as exciting as it had always been (even without the Zoo of Death - read the book!). All in all a most satisfying experience. Thank you Mr Goldman for not taking away my dreams.

Review: LIFE LESSONS FROM THE PRINCESS BRIDE. . .What about the R.O.U.S.'s? You mean, Rodent's of Ununsual Size? I don't think they exist. Death cannot stop true love. What it can do is delay it for a little while. Farmboy, fetch me that pitcher. . . What a wonderful movie! I am so pleased that it has gotten such good reviews over the past decade. It is definitely a classic. I wonder if Rob Reiner reads these reviews?

Review: if anyone has the audacity to NOT love this movie, they are just plain ignorant. this movie begins by a grandfather reading his son the story of the Princess Bride. the grandson (played by fred savage) dosnt want to hear about romance in the beginning of our journed....but by the finish of the film, hes ready for the "kissing" to be read! great cast and great story! you'll watch it over and over again without notice...and if you have kids they will adore it! still, one of my VERY favorites :)

Summary: BETTER THAN THE PRINCESS BRIDE!
Review: "The Princess bride" is definately the best fantasy adventure movie ever. These movie's that America release today are unoriginal and predictable. BUT if you absolutely loved the movie and the book than i insist that EVERYONE reads the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. i can't actually write down in words a description of how good these books are because i feel i won't be expressing it in a good enough way to give them the true praise they deserve. All i can say is trust me. It's full of adventure, action, and especially love. But of course alot more. I read these books, and especially my favourite bits over and over again. If you don't believe me e-mail me and i'm sure i'll convince you to buy the whole series.

Summary: It appealed to all sorts of adventure, love, and family
Review: The movie was excellent. I saw it about seven years ago with my mom. To this day I still watch the movie with my friends. I think it is one of the best date movies by far. It has got the action for the guys. The sword fighting, the giants, the "perfect breasts", etc. The females have some fun with it too because of the powerful love and romance that the whole movie is centered around.

Summary: A fantastical fairy-tale come to life!
Review: This is quite simply the greatest fantasy movie ever made! Reiner weaves a fairy-tale world like no other. Elwes and Wright deliver outstanding performances in this light-hearted movie. This is without doubt my favourite movie of all time, I would estimate that I have seen it more than 100 times to date and will no doubt see it many more. A great movie for the kids and it will please the adults too.
