Review: I'd heard much about this movie for quite a few years. About a week ago a friend finally lent me her copy to watch and I must confess that I am quite disappointed. Now as a lightheart childrens comedy then the Princess Bride is good, but in the universal scheme of things I, not personally being a child anymore, consider it bad. The weak and 'rubbery' plot just didn't do it for me, and as for the acting... It actually reminded me of The Neverending Story (1,2&3) in style and plot. The campness just got to me in the end, I guess.

Review: First, Cary Elwes is the ultimate man. Gorgeous, thoughtful, loving, and loyal? I challenge you to find a better real-life man. Secondly, you can see it with that not-so-perfect man right next to you. Between Robin Wright's heaving bosom and the spell-binding action, he'll hardly notice that you're lusting after Westley. Third, if Westley doesn't do it for you, there are so many other characters to choose from--the know-it all, the big brawny guy, the mysterious dark man with the Spanish accent, even a kvetching guy. Oh, and the foppish dander of a prince, for you power-mongers. That's not even to mention that the movie itself is the perfect movie. Who could not love it? I challenge you to watch it and not enjoy yourself!!!

Review: This movie is by far the best movie ever made in the history of movies! I love this movie so much! I watch it all the time! It is the best! It involves comedy/drama/romance/action/ect...you could not love this movie? It is so enchanting thatyou just fall in love with it...like the grandson! Westley, Buttercup, Inigo, Fezzick, Vinzzini, Hunperdinck, Miracle Max, ect...they are all great charecters that draw you straight into the story! Buy this movie you'll love every single minute of it! Enjoy!

Review: With entertainment for both sexes this is definetly one of the best date movies in existence. One that every guy should have in his collection and glad everytime his girlfriend picks it out. Its just a shame that it isn't in DVD format

Review: I first saw The Princess Bride when I was 10 and I have loved it ever since I have been through like 3 copies of it. I have the book ( if you like the movie read the book ) the sountrack and of course the movie. All I can say is its the BEST movie ever and I recomed if you have not seen it go rent no buy it ( because you will want to after yoiu see it so save a couple of dollars. ) and watch it. This movis as it all fighting, revange, true love, mircales, giants,( the late Andre The Giant) and of course a happy ending.

Review: I have owned this movie for many years now, and I still laugh every time I watch it. Quite possibly one of the most comically smart films to ever come out (along with "Airplane"). This is a MUST HAVE for everyone's video collection. You will not regret it.
