Summary: A Love Story For All Romantics & A Great Adventure For All
Review: I first read this story thirty years ago, and fell madly in love. When the movie came out I was first in line, and a year or so after that each of my sons fell in love with the movie and the book. This is a wonderful tale to read, and a delightful movie to share with loved ones, young and old, familiar and new.

Review: Truly wonderful! Funny, exciting and romantic, this movie is great! I have watched it many times and I never get tired of it! Buttercup is lovely, prince Humperdinck as rotten as ever and Wesley as truly pirate-like and can be. If you watch this or buy it and don't like it, than well, you need help! Please watch it, it is a movie that you will never forget!

Summary: This should be taught in school.
Review: I have many favorite movies, but hear me correctly- THIS is my favorite. Do you understand what I am saying? Because, I don't want someone to to confuse the point I am trying to make. It is as clear cut a decision as I can make. But- much to my consternation- it has fallen to me to introduce dozens of my friends and girlfriends to this movie. I've lent my copy out well over three dozen times. In fact it is my third copy of it. But I won't stop. I have done so much good so far.

Review: Do you want to laugh? I mean laugh really hard? If so than buy this movie! It is about beautiful Buttercup, her true love Westley, the vengeful spaniard Inigo, Fessik the lovable giant, rotten prince Humperdink, and twice as rotten Count Ruben. With adventures in places like the Fire Swamp and the dangerous Cliffs of Insanity, who could resist plopping down on the couch watching this movie over and over again? I know I couldn't because have watched it many times since Dec. 25st 1998. Trust me, if you get this movie you will treasure it for a very, very long time and still laugh just as hard. Review: This movie is funny, sad, and everything else. It has humor, swordfighting, and many wonderfull characters. The best part, I think, is the humor, I think it is one of the funniest movies. So if you like funny movies get this movie.

Summary: What dreams are made of!
Review: We've all done it. We've all had a dream where we're a superheroe who saves the day and gets the girl. Everything gos according to plan and we come out smelling of roses. However, reality would be just like this movie. One comic farce after another. Nothing gos right for the heroe, his sidekicks are inept and the girl he loves pushes him down a hill. From the start, you know this movie is a parody of all previous movies in the genre. You know it as soon as Cary Ewles squints his eyebrows against the phony looking backdrop. Plus, it has Fred Savage in it! What more proof do you need that it's cheesy? What I ask you? This movie is everything good about low-budget movies. What other movie would you have a plastic giant rat thrown on screen then the leading man wrestling with it like it was real? My point excactly! What? What was that? Who said Baywatch? If you wanna have a laugh, buy this movie. If you want something similar but more serious, get Baywatch Nights' cos I think that uses the same backdrops!

Review: Okay, anyone who's seen this knows it is the immortal FUN movie of all time. It also hits on every level- funny bone, heart, head, guts (especially when Inigo spills his)... It is the quintessential great movie. It also has a cult following. For the sake of being able to reply "yes" to a rabid fan's "have YOU seen it?" alone, please watch The Princess Bride. Inconceivable! :)

Review: A nice blend of swordsplay and romance in this classic tale of fantasy. It is one of the best feel good movies ever done, possessing a nice touch of humor, suspense, and warmth. Grab your significant other, and settle down on a nice cozy evening, and you to could live happily ever after.

Summary: My Favorite Movie
Review: This is one of the few movies I own. When it came out years ago it was the only movie I went to see and saw it again the very next day. I still love it and the book is fun to read as well. One of the only books that I saw the movie first and then read the bood and loved both of them. I usually can't read a book after I've seen the movie.
