Summary: The best movie ever
Review: I am a great fan of action movie. I regularly ( I say one movie per day!) watch movie - mainly action adventure. This is the best movie I have seen so far. I watched it at least 10 times so far.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It should of gotten Best Picture!
Review: Of all the movies I have seen, I feel "The Last of the Mohicans" has to be the best movie ever made. What blows me away in the movie has to be first the great acting performances from Wes Studi(who should of been nominated for best supporting actor) and of course Daniel Day-Lewis. Next would be the sound, the landscape of the Blue Ridge Mtns in NC(where I live), and just how the overall movie sweeps you away as you are sitting there watching it. I was also pleased that American Indians were depicted as more human than before. The casting director of "Mohicans" (Bonnie Timmerman) was a genious....the movie was so good that I thought Michael Mann himself must be more than a genious! This movie tells the story of how young America was starting out and the love stories between Hawkeye/Cora & Uncas/Alice. It tells the story of a much revengeful Magua who is set out to kill the "gray hair" and wipe his seed from the earth forever. It tells the story before racism was known where whites and indians were friends. It is the story of love, survival, fortitude, courage, and adventure. I believe this movie really plays with your emotions to where you become part of the movie itself!

Summary: Amazing
Review: When this film first came out, I critized it and I thought it was the most boring movie in years. However, watching it a few years back, I have fallen in love with this picture. Instead of telling about the story, I'll brag about the pictures beauty. The opening and final sequences, highlighted by the beautiful score, transfix you with the beauty the mountains -- so pure. The actors are brilliant and you become so involved with the emotion. The Indians in the picture are not stereotyped like many other films. Michael Mann tells it like it is. A phenomenal and beautiful masterpiece.

Summary: Very confusing
Review: I wasn't too crazy about this movie. The ending was good but I must admit that i didn't understand a thing that was going on.

Summary: Exceptional! A must see.
Review: This movie probably rates as my all time favorite. Lush with beautiful scenery, enchanting music, and an enthralling story line, the movie builds through a sequence of battles and heart-felt loss to absolutely captivate the viewer. The second half of the film is especially captivating, and not really for the faint of stomach (and hence it's R rating). This is definetely a movie for the big screen - or simply turn down the lights, turn up the surround sound, and enjoy one of the best epics of this decade.

Summary: This movie is the best
Review: The Last of the Mohicans is a movie that has something for everybody. The first thing that I noticed was the fact that the action in the movie was very high. However, this is no stupid unbelievible action flic, no, it has historical significance. It is extremely well backed by a haunting but yet appropriate soundtrack. I love this movie and as you should have guessed I am a 19 year old from Australia. Both my Mum and I loved this movie, although she liked it a little more because of who was in it. If you want to discuss the movie with me or you just want to insult the mighty nation of Australia, then E-Mail me on the address given. This movie is a must see. ********** Stars.

Summary: Exceptional Film
Review: This film is one of a kind. It contains a successful blend of the numerous aspects of film (romance, drama, action, suspense). The scenery is beautiful. The acting, as well as the producing and directing, is superb. An absolute treasure!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: This film is GREAT
Review: As long as you like romance, history, and awesome scenery, you'll love this movie. The only problem is that it's not as visually awesome as it is on the big screen for which it was made. Daniel Day Lewis and Madeleine Stowe make a beautiful pair. Everyone and everything in the movie has high visual and auditory impact. Some scenes, of war, are extremely disturbing but not gratuitous. It falls short of 5 stars only because I reserve perfect scoring for films in the caliber of The Sound of Music but Last of the Mohicans is also worth seeing several times over.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A beautiful, live-action masterpiece full of energy and lust
Review: A novel has never been adapted so well. James Fenimore Cooper's masterpiece is turned into a one of a kind movie filled with incredible sound and action, and love. Daniel-Day Lewis is one of the finest actors in hollywood today and it shows as he fights for love, revenge, and pride as the LAST OF THE MOHICANS.
