Summary: An Amazing Film!
Review: I have personally always hated war-movies, and as I thought this was going to be one of them, I didn't wanna see it at first, but when I finally took a glance for five minutes, I couldn't take my eyes of it! The film is so beautiful, a realistic story about life and love. It shows that even though times change, we as people don't. I've seen it several times, and I know that it will always be one of my favourites with Schindler's List, American History X and Shakespeare in Love.

Summary: Bravo!
Review: This is a great period film that has much to teach us about how to live today. The hunting scene in the first five minutes is not only dramatic and beautiful but also teaches respect for all living things. The film highlights how important it is to understand and cooperate with people of other cultures, and relays a great appreciation for the Indian peoples who lived on the North American continent for thousands of years without harming the environment. Throw in a sweeping love story, gorgeous scenery, and memorable as well as delightful music and you have a movie that one will want to watch often. We have the soundtrack on CD and it is a family favorite.

Summary: Sooooooo Romantic!
Review: When Hawkeye goes running through the battle, screaming Cora's name, hurling marauding Huron in all directions, I simply melt! Great cinemetography, incredible acting. One of my all time favorites. Buy it!

Summary: One of the greatest films of all time
Review: Packed with action and non-stop entertainment there is not a dull moment in the movie. See it.

Summary: THE MOST BEAUITUL MODERN MOVIE MADE
Review: Beautiful scenery, exciting action sequences and superb acting makes this movie an exciting and touching experience. The movie opens with a beautiful scan of the mountains, where they filmed the movie in North Carolina. It only gets better after that, with Daniel Day-Lewis as the adopted son of the Mohawks. The acting was magnificent, Day-Lewis taking your breath away as he always does with his always dramatic and believable acting. A must see if you're a fan for epic adventures with beautiful scenery and wonderful camera angles. The supporting cast is one of the best I've seen in modern movies. Each one delivering a superb job at making their characters spring to life. I first saw the movie when it came out, at the age of 8 and I still enjoy watching it to this day. The score also adds a lot of dramatics and is beautifully written. The main theme just makes the opening scene shine and gives you goosebumps. I recommend this movie to anyone, young or old who is a fan of wonderful scenery, action, drama, and musical scores.

Summary: This is a 5-Star Movie
Review: If you like great content, wonderful music, epic style themes, this is the movie to watch. I already watched it over a dozen times and never get tired of it. I wonder when they will come up with the DVD version. I want to be the first one to buy it.

Summary: Simply Excellent
Review: In brief, one of my favourite movies of all time. The cinemetography is reason enough to go out and buy that 40 inch monster widescreen TV. The film is amazing throughout, but the reviewers below are right in highlighting the last 10 minutes. It is the best 10 minutes of movie history. This is the only film I have commented on with Amazon. Until something comes up to the same standards I won't write another one!

Summary: All you movie chumps
Review: This is a movie that doesn't belong on the shelf, but belongs in your VCR (DVD late in the year). If you haven't seen it, be prepared for deceit, revenge, jealousy, love, and respect...all in the first half hour. For the whole running time of the movie, your eyes will be glued to the screen, and if you leave the room, well you better have a good reason! The movies last ten minutes equate to excitement and involvement, that lesser movies attempt with 90+ minutes. Buy this movie, and buy it now. Those who have seen the movie most likely own it, but if you don't, get it! Daniel Day Lewis delivers a fantastic performance, and the surrounding characters from Uncas, to backround persons are all top rate. Enjoy!

Summary: I went out happy!
Review: We watched the beginning of this movie in school, and I wanted to see it all! I rented it, and it was GREAT. I then went to the WIZ and got the Widescreen version! {Well, thats all they had.} The film though was more like a PG rated film instead of an R rated film. Oh yeah, it's safe for the family.

Summary: Watch it!
Review: The greatest ending in movie history! I live here in North Carolina about 45 minutes from where the movie was filmed, and yes, it is that beautiful here.
