Summary: seriously, you hypocrites
Review: Its not plausible that the country that made Titanic the highest grossing movie ever would now verbally bash it. I see that many viewers have given this movie 1 or 2 stars. I agree completely that it is probably not the best movie ever made, but it is still well made. DiCaprio and Winslet have good on screen chemistry and the supporting cast is also strong. This film is not deep in its themes and revelations, but it provides good entertainment value.

Summary: Two thumbs DOWN!
Review: What S**T! Do yourself a favour and buy its breathtaking sequel... "THE Priest They Called Him The Life And Legacy Of Jack Dolson"... a masterpiece! This film is not only a book but a film! This film was made to be seen on Cable... God knows why? Watch out for its faboulus twist at the end! Anyway the orignal... "Titanic" is slow from the second it starts, gets better during the nudity scene but slows down all the way through. But when the Aliens arrive on the ship and the man gets explodes is the sadest piece of the film!

Summary: A Turkey In Epic Proportions
Review: Keep in mind that I saw "A Night To Remember" first. Compared to it, this was a joke. First of all, with the ship sinking, Rose's fiancee has a chance to get on a lifeboat (which he does anyway).
Instead, he goes gunning after Leonardo De Caprio. How unreal can you get? Instead of getting masterful details, we get sappy romance (unbelievable considering that this came from a guy that gave us Terminator, and T2). When Rose finally meets the fate of the icy cold ocean, Rose, on a piece of wood (I'm still not sure what it was) is the ONLY SURVIVOR in a multitude of bodies (wow, talk about your high metabolic rate). Grant it, many people have called this a chick flick. If so, why couldn't they make the story line a little more believable, and why did the Motion Picture Acadamy even nominate this turkey for anything (sympathy votes perhaps). Anyway, if you want a more realistic depiction of the Titanic Disaster, Rent / Buy "A Night to Remember" instead of this sappy, unbelievable turkey.

Summary: Colossal Disappointment
Review: My wife and I saw TITANIC on opening night. At some point, perhaps halfway through the movie, I wanted to depart because the stupid and phony tale of the male and female leads left me dumbstruck and spoiled the otherwise appealing visuals. Unfortunately, my wife refuses to ever leave a movie that we paid to see, so, I did stay and see the entire film.

A couple of years later, while I was with friends and family, I forced myself to view the entire video to see whether my initial impression was too harsh. It was not.

If an edition could be sold that omitted any broadcast of or reference to the male and female leads, including the portions where the woman has aged, that version would be worth watching. When that video appears it may rate five stars. This version of TITANIC is one star; it is a colossal disappointment as story, film, and entertainment.

Summary: A cinematic masterpiece!
Review: This movie is truly magnificent, showcasing the treacherious maiden voyage of the R.M.S Titanic through the eyes of two young lovers. The acting is well performed, even by teengod Leonardo DiCaprio. The effects are absolutely astounding, especially the ship's descent to the bottom of the Atlantic. It's beautifully directed by James Cameron, and the costumes designs are also perfectly done. Even years after it's release, this movie still leaves one with a sadness and empathy for everyone who suffered that night. It wonderfully pays homage to the passengers of the Titanic and is a work of art that should be cherished always.

Summary: Makes you think which is a good sign from a good movie
Review: I have no shame in saying i like this film as it has come under alot of scrutiny even after fans of it the first time around changed there minds when the movie was taken less seriously. Titanic is a very powerful and empathic movie and i have alot of memories of seeing this in the cinema when i spilt orangeade all the way down the aisle which was sweet. So if you feel like listning to someone who knows what they are talking about and feel like ignoring the critics then im probably not the person but oh well. It's a good film that deserves it's place as one of the ground breaking films as it's a classic although Leonardo Di caprios acting was poor toward the end of the film but in it's own right this is a good film which most people have already seen but if you havent get this or the pianist which is an equaly good film though a little off the topic.

Summary: "Titanic Movie" Sinking.......
Review: The first time I watched the movie, I was half asleep.
It was so long, so boring, and pointless. This was suppose to be a story about "Titanic", a ship that sinks in the ocean because it struck an iceberg.
The story instead was about two kids in love, making out in a car, and doing very immature things, like spitting in the ocean.
I watched "A Night To Remember" and thought, wow. What a big and good difference.
I can't believe this won 11 awards. It is BY FAR not has good as Ben-Hur. Ben-Hur is GREAT!!! This Titanic, horrible.
Some of this seemed a bit fake, like when the two kids were runing down in the boilers.
I don't think so.
Both my dad and I were cheering when Leo went under at the end.
We can all be thankful that the Titanic was real, and had no sequel.
I'd really hate to see Leo come up from the water, and start this b.s. all over again.

Summary: My absolute favorite movie of all time
Review: I cannot stress enough how much I love this movie! I have always enjoyed every part of it, from the music and special effects to the actors and everything in between. The acting is wonderful. From the first time I saw it I loved it and still continue to love it to this day! It is sad and romantic at the same time. It is very long, but it is still so good. I definitely recommend you see it if you haven't already; you will love it!

Summary: PuuuuuLEASE!
Review: The plot line of Titanic was absolutely insipid. The acting was so bad at times it was comical. I found myself at the end cheering on the icy waters and hoping for the demise of BOTH the main characters. Unless you are a love-lorn teenage girl with a taste for the sappiest of sappy love stories, save your money.

Summary: Amazing movie
Review: When I was 12 yrs old I saw this movie for the first time in the thearter twice. I am 17 now and am still in love with it. I love the costumes, music, actors. I just love this movie all around. Its an awesome movie. James Cameron did SUCH a great job making it look just like the real titanic.. inside and out. All I have to say is if you haven't seen this movie up until now just give it a chance! Watch it!
