Summary: Worth the wait of the end
Review: In this compelling story of romance Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet turn in marvelous performances. This is a must-see, academy award nominated film. I has superb acting, and was directed very well. Go rent this movie tonight. (IN fact, you might want to buy it. I have afelling it's going to become a classic.

Summary: Talk about overhyped!!
Review: Frankly, this Titanic did not deserve 11 oscar nominations and especially did not deserve the best picture win. L.A. Confidential was a much much better film with a real story line and much better acting. The acting in Titanic was horrible. If you want to see Leo act, see Whats Eating Gilbert Grape, when he should have won best supporting actor...

Summary: authentic???
Review: sure, this movie is gripping once the ship hits the iceberg, after all, the visual effects were absolutely stunning, and i watched it twice in the movie theather, but all the hype about its authenticity is missplaced.

there was a lot of talk about how painstakingly the film makers researched the wardrobe, props, etc of the original ship, to get all the details correct. however...well...to put it bluntly, who cares? hell, the actors could have been walking around in the actual clothes, lounging around in the actual furnitures or eating from the actual dinner wares that have been recovered from the site (i know, it's not possible, and yes, it's morbid if they did) but what does that have to do with authenticity? they could've made this movie with the ship sailing safely into ny and it would have been "authentic" in their opinion.

the authenticity lies in the real actions of the people that night: acts of courage and cowardice, of sacrifice and desperation, which i felt the movie sourly lacked.

but i did like the visual effects :)

Summary: Didn't mind it, but not a classic.
Review: I wrote a review a few days ago, but forgot to add this: For all those people who continue to 'trash' Leonardo DiCapprio just remember this, he gave one of the best acting performances EVER for his role in 'What's eating Gilbert Grape'. It's just too bad he couldn't show his acting talent in Titanic. For that kind of money, he should done a far better job. A disappointment.

Summary: One of the greatest movies ever made.
Review: After reading about the Titanic, I thought I could never feel what it was like to be there. Cameron puts you on the ship with the passengers. Everything was so real and with the love story to match, simply fabulous.

Summary: The BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!
Review: Titanic is the ultimate movie. The best ever in the history of movies. Leo, Kate, Billy, the whole cast was marvelous. The best the best the best the best!!!!! I enjoyed every second. I wish that they would come out with an uncut version and fast!!!

Summary: Ugh!
Review: I had anticipated SO much more when I went to see this movie in the theater last year. It deserved maybe two of it's eleven Acedemy Awards...certainly not Best Picture. Lousy acting, lousy story, lousy script (did it even have a script??). If all it takes to win Academy Awards these days is a hit song, some special effects and a teen heart-throb...it's truly a sad time for the entertainment industry.

Summary: Not a classic !!
Review: Why all the hype? Just proves that oscars can be bought. The acting was less than average, with the odd exception (Kathy Bates was great), bad casting (Leo and Kate aren't convincing), and way too long. This movie had it's moments, although few, but did not deserve 11 oscars, especially not best picture. See it once, then forget it ! By the way, Celine Dion is awesome.

Summary: It was a great movie
Review: I really enjoyed Titanic and thought that is was a good remaking of the actual disaster combined with a romantic love story. If you haven't seen it to bad. It is a must see for everyone.

Summary: The movie is not all that
Review: Sorry, don't want to affend any one but, the movie Titanic is a rather horrible movie! When the movie first came out I could not get over it. I was crazy about it. I've seen the movie 5 times...5 times to many. Leonardo Di Craprio, is a really bad actor. Kate whateverherlastnameis, is okay as an actor. I think that they could of made the movie ALOT better! The nudity is NOT called for! The movie would of been ALOT better if they had just taken that part out. But still, the movie would still be a sorry sight. By the 3rd time I had seen the movie I would start laughing so hard during to movie. Everyone else would be in tears, but I would be laughing to death. So, if you have any morals, don't see it.
