Summary: Dimitri's Van Damme Review
Review: Kickboxer is a high class film. This film sees Jean Claude looking to avenge his brother's unnecesarry spine breaking injury from the champion of Thailand boxing Tung Po in a kickboxing match that decided the world championship. Even though he is no match to face Tung Po he gains help from a retired soldier to introduce him to his old friend,he then is trained up by one of the most respected former kickboxing Champions in Thailand. From the old man Jean Claude learns how to beat any oponent and is always gaining practice through braking trees with his legs and kicking arse with his body. But another problem occurs, a lady he takes a liking to(his master's grand daughter)has been having her village terrorised by Tung Po's bosses and she seeks his help to get rid of them. He then establishes himself in Thailand as one of the greatest kickboxers of all time and gains revenge for his brother.

Review: This movie is for stupid Van Damme groupies that actually believe Tong Po was a real Muay Thai Champion. There ARE no heavyweight Muay Thai champions in Thailand. The only real Muay Thai in the movie is shown at the 1st camp that Van Damme's character visits. The fight scenes Van Damme choreographed look like a Karate guy's idea of what Muay Thai looks like

Review: The movie was the best of Van Damme I have ever seen. The fight scenes were great. I would find myself getting out of my chair and just start pretending I was fighting along with him. If your a fan of Van Damme this is the movie you would want to see. IT ROCKED

Review: After watching this time after time on tv, i just went ahead and bought it. If you like action movies, then you should love Van Damme, and if you love Van Damme, then you should love this movie. Don't read Leonard Maltin's reviews. What does that guy know? If you consider his reviews i feel sorry for ya. Well, anyway, great movie!

Review: As soon as I saw this moive it was my favorite. The last fight was awsome especially the last move where he flies in the air and kicks Tong Po in the face.

Review: THIS WAS THE BEST OF VAN DAMM I HAVE SEEN IN YEARS I FELT LIKE I WAS IN THE MOVIE WITH VAN DAMME. THE FIGHTING SEENS WERE TOTALLY AWSOME AND GOT ME KNOTTED IN MY BED AS I WAS HELPING HIM FIGHT. MORE OF THIS KIND OF MOVIES AND HE WILL SURELY BE REMEMBERED NOT JUST FOR A VEW MONTHS BUT A LIFE TIME. Summary: Not bad, but a little slow at times.
Review: Not as good as Bloodsport, but isn't a bad flick. Not many fights either, but the plot is well enough to get going. Training scenes were good, and Tong Po is an excellent villian. It kept me interested.

Summary: This movie rocked!! Van Damme definitely made his mark.
Review: I think if you are a true action movie goer like I am, then this one will be for you. Kurt Sloane(Van Damme) teams up with this old man Xian for training against the man who paralyzed his brother, Tong Po. Sloane overcomes many obstacles to achieve his goal. A true Muay Thai fighting classic. 5 stars all the way.

Review: This is a very good Martial arts flick.Yeah it gets corny at times with the dialog and when Taylor shoots up the warehouse the music is corny.But remember Titanic's King of the world? that was corny.But anyway this movie is way better than any of Van Damme's movies even Blood Sport and Cyborg.The best sequel to this one is the 4th one.Just plain hilarious.
