Summary: NO-ONE SHOULD BUY THIS DVD, bad quality print - unwatchable
Review: Amazon should not be selling this DVD. I have never seen anything of such appalling quality. It must have been recorded of a video, the last 15 minutes are unwatchable, the screen flickers, and has scrolling black and white lines all over the screen. Even apart from this, the quality is very blurry, and the sound is difficult to hear. It made me extremely cross having to watch (and pay for) such a good film in such bad condition. NO-ONE SHOULD BUY THIS!

Review: Being a big Bruce lee fan I love this film.Despite its thin plot and low budget it was a groundbreaking film in many respects.It takes a while for bruce get into action but when he does he doesn,t let us done.It his first big fight scene in the ice factory you will Bruce kick a knife from a thugs hand and before it hits the gound he kicks the guy a second time! brillant!.The speed of the guy was unreal.
He goes on to kill all the thugs util he reaches "THE BIG BOSS".this fight is very good and You will see a lot of devices thta lee wopuld later use in his other films.
Despite its inadequces The Big Boss is a very good film in terms of martial arts.Lets not forget that this was just a vechicle to show the audieces what the then UNKNOWN Bruce Lee could do

Review: Bruce Lee Does great Martial Arts in this film. He mabyedoes'nt fight until half way through the film but when he does It isbrilliant Martial Arts. The end fight sequence is breathtaking when hetakes on the Big Boss and his men. It is'nt the best BL film but it isworth spending [money] on.

Summary: Satisfactory Kung Fu Madness
Review: Bruce Lee goes on another rampage of random, pointless fights in FISTS OF FURY, a brilliant masterpiece of unbelievably intelligent plot, eye-popping action and mind-blowing effects. Well, not really. But it is entertaining. I began laughing hysterically the moment the movie started, when a flashing picture of Bruce Lee went sliding back and forth across the screen as the credits rolled, accompanied by some random trumpet blaring. Then, about thirty seconds into the movie, a fight breaks out over a stolen rice cake. Unfortunately, because of the Medallion of Peace that he wears (it looks like a washer on a piece of string), Bruce Lee is not allowed to engage in any scuffles, fights, brawls, smackdowns, etc. Not yet, anyway. First he gets a job at an ice cube factory, where clever smugglers hide dope inside the ice cubes. Bruce Lee and a couple of unwitting coworkers inadvertently discover this operation when the conveyor belt carrying the ice cubes suddenly explodes, shattering an ice cube and flinging out some dope. The coworkers are killed for their knowledge of the smuggling business, and in the following days, a bunch of fights randomly break out at the factory. Bruce Lee watches helplessly, restrained by his Medallion of Peace. Thankfully, however, the medallion accidentally gets broken in half as he is watching one of the fights, so he happily joins in the brawl and does some serious butt-kicking.

Review: Crude, amateurish Hong Kong Bruce Lee film from 1971 has resurfaced looking smart and entertaining in a movie drive-in second-feature sort of way. The Asian youth market made it a top-grossing hit as did the American market years later and there's no denying it's adolescent heroic appeal.

Review: First and foremost , I'm a devoted Bruce Lee fan. As for the movie , "Fists of Fury" , itself ? I give it 5 stars. How can you give anything less to the man that perpetuated all the kung fu movies, after him ? You can't . I certainly wouldn't. There'll never be another like him. The film , itself is flawless ... kicking. It's got the famous ice factory scene, the yard scenes , and Jackie Chan performing the longest fall in kung fu history on film , at that time. This film is very significant. But this rating , I give to the dvd "cheap" version. Check this out : I have all of his movies on vhs , as well. However , I've recently converted to dvd's. With that in mind , I wanted to purchase all of Lee's movies on dvd. Fists of Fury is one of Bruce Lee's finest movies and I appreciate it's importance to the kung fu genre. However , I figured I'd save a few bucks and get the version that costs less than , say , an official version ( with an actual picture of Bruce on the cover , instead of a cartoon or painting). In my cheap version , it is intirely in fullscreen. So much , in fact , that parts of the film run off of the screen. It was painful to watch. From that point , I ordered the normal versions of his other movies , and found the format phenominally different and I could start watching the Bruce Lee films , the way that he would want any of his fans to. Just stay away from the cheap versions and stick to the official studio ones. You can't lose.

Review: Fist of Fury is basically your average Martial Arts film. It's badly made with a cory plot and shallow characters. The one thing that stands out about the film is Bruce Lee. Just getting to seem him fight makes sitting through all the awful dialogue and boring scenes worth it.

Review: Fists of fury also known as the Big boss is among the best in martial art classics.Firstly with no doubt because it features the late Martial arts master and genius Bruce lee. Secondly because of the realism in the fight scenes even though they are violent because violence is an element in all chinese movies but here for the first time was a movie which featured real kicks and punches.Also with regard to today's era of martial art movies I feel the Big Boss still outsmarts many many martial art movies that came after it because in spite of many imitations and imitators after its realise there are still areas where Bruce lee's Charisma and dynamism cannot be matched.
