Rating: Summary: Action-packed movie with lots of sword- and fist-fights Review: The story is rather simple: an arrogant warlord son committed murders and was arrested by a government marshal. In order to bring the criminal, the government entourage had to pass by an area controlled by the warlord. As his soldiers fell one by one and he himself got trapped in the Green Dragon Inn, the marshal not only had to face the formidable warlord, but also two mysterious strangers, a man and a woman. Will he escape with the prisoner? The DVD is a no-frill pan-and-scan transfer of an acceptable print of the movie. It's dubbed in English, so don't expect emotive utterances by the characters. Since no one watches Hong Kong kung fu movies for acting talents, the acting is acceptable. The fighting is pretty good, with some inventive fighting. One of the few kung fu movies where the underlings (the typical red shirt Star Trekkers) behave with intelligence and initiatives.
Rating: Summary: This is NOT Dragon Gate Inn Review: This film is listed under IMDB and Amazon as "Dragon Gate Inn". It is in fact a totally different film, and bears no relation to the classic 1966 film
