Summary: Simply The Best
Review: I have seen well over a hundred DVDs thus far, and I can easily say that this title is quite simply the best example to date of what DVD has to offer. The film itself is good, is in fact one of the better Bond movies, but MGM has crafted a disc so exquisite that the viewer is left with mouth agape, amazed and enraptured.

From the moment the disc begins, so does your journey. A beautifully crafted animated menu appears, and you are greeted by an exotic female voice prompting your for your fingerprint and retina identification. You are then whisked into yet more menus, or, if you prefer, directly into the film itself. You could wander through this disc all afternoon and not exhaust all the possibilities.

If you wish, you can see the storyboards for the action scenes laid into the lower right hand corner of the screen as you watch the scene unfold. You can watch the Sheryl Crow music video of the title track. You can watch a retrospective on Bond, or an interview with the film's composer, or listen to just the soundtrack. This is only the beginning of the things you can do with this disc.

The video and sound are also phenomenal. The picture's anamorphic for those with widescreen TVs, and still looks amazing on an average 4x3 set.

If you like action films, buy this disc. If you want to show off your DVD player, buy this disc. This is one disc that everyone must have. Oh yeah, and it stops production on January 31st, 1999, so get it quick. Personally, I'm stocking up on a handful to give away as gifts in the future.

Summary: Good Bond Flick, but BUY THE SPECIAL EDITION
Review: I was really disappointed with the lack of extras on this DVD. The laser disc of "Goldeneye" was chock full of fruity nutty flavor, so I assumed that "Tomorrow" would have at least that much since DVD can really pack lots of neat tid bits into a package. Little did I know that a "Special Edition" was coming out. No one said anything about plans to release a feature-packed version of the disc when it came out in standard format, so those of us who love movies and love features pretty much got screwed out of the DVD we really wanted by not waiting to see if a better version came along.

If this is a precedent, it's a really bad one. By not releasing the versions simultaneously, the movie studio lost out on a lot of revenue that could have been gained from the higher price of the special edition. Most people I know who love James Bond would have much rather had the version with the extras.

Summary: This movie runs away with all 5 stars!!!
Review: Pierce Brosnan so far is a great James Bond! The stunts in this movie were terrific! I think the new 007 movies with Brosnan are better than the older ones with Sean Connery-Brosnan has far better weapons and stunts that Connery used. If your not already a 007 fan-you will be once you watch this movie!!! 5 stars all the way!!!

Summary: Hong Kong action flick or Bond film...you decide
Review: Brosnan does an excellent job with what he has handed to him, but the storyline is rather weak. As usual the gadgets are great (rating 4th in best movie gadgets), but our new Lady M is getting to become more like the Bernard Lee 'M' that I grew to love. I still don't see her as an Admiral in the British Navy (which is the rank that the 'M' title comes with), but her rapier wit and ability to both handle Bond at all times, yet be worried that her best agent may be in trouble is exactly like the late Bernard Lee played the part. The reason I gave this film three stars is the presence of Michelle Yeoh. Let's make one thing clear here. This is a Bond film. That means that he is in the front at all times, and does not take second fiddle to any one. Too many sequences where she is the lead character. I think that is why many Bond purists have very mixed reactions to this movie as it was not so much Bond, but the supporting cast of Yeoh, Jonathon(Ted Turner on a REALLY bad year) Pryce as a, are you kidding me, media mogul that must be stopped, and Teri Hatcher, who proves why she should stay on TV and not the big screen, that killed the movie for me. Ranked 16th for overall Bond films in my book.

Summary: Same old same old
Review: I only saw the film when I heard Michelle Yeoh was gonna be in it. It's about time these Bond girls are not portrayed as bimbos or passive objects. I really loved it when Michelle was choked from behind, hurled against the wall, but she did this amazing back flip climb and kicked the bad guy's butt from behind!

Summary: A Must See Movie for a Bond Fanatic
Review: Tomorrow Never Dies was a very well done movie and great adition to the Bond collection. I've had people tell me that they didn't like it because it isn't the way it used to be . Then I pointed out to them that it is a very good Bond movie, because the older Bond movies were always about being ahead of Technology, and James Bond saving the world. Well in this movie all of that and more happens. We see the new up-to-date James Bond. Also this limited edition DVD has many great extra features, which makes watching the movie even better. If you're debating whether or not to spend the movie for this movie, it is definetly a movie that you should highly consider.

Summary: Very good job, but not as good as Goldeneye
Review: This film is one of the best Bond films ever made. There was a lot of action but Goldeneye had that bit more.

Pierce Brosnan is an excellent actor and portrays Bond's personality exactly.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: second only to "licence to kill"...
Review: Pierce Brosnan is back as Bond, and everybody outdid themselves on this one. "TND" equals the best of Connery, and comes second in my book only to "Licence To Kill".(After viewing this, can anybody ever watch one of the horrible Roger Moore disasters again!)Jonathan Pryce plays an evil media mogul who creates his own headlines, and the unflappable Judi Densch is brilliant,as usual,as "M". The most unusual, and best, aspect of this film is Michelle Yeoh, Pierce's comrad-in-arms. Teri Hatcher is the pre-requisite "Bond-girl",but does little for the film. Michelle Yeoh is the, forgive the term, "girl" that truly shines and kicks some serious butt in the mean time. This film is worth it for her alone, but all the elements together make this one of the best in the series.
