Summary: The Greatest Movie Ever Made...
Review: This is the greatest movie of all-time. Its got it all: ultra-violence, unbelievable camera moves, incredible action scenes, a tight script, a talented director(Ringo Lam) and most importantly of all...Chow Yun-Fat, the most charismatic actor of the present era, who gives, in my opinion, his best performance to date.On top of all of the above named, 'Full Contact' has the great villain in a film ever...Simon Yam is unbelievable as this homosexual gangster. Simon is classic. If you say you like HK cinema and you don't dig this movie, you're a total reject. This is the finest film ever made. Go see it. Go buy it. Enjoy it.

Summary: One Of Chow Yun Fat/Ringo Lam's best colaborations
Review: This Movie has it all. I have only seen in on video, but i bet the Dvd has the same features (Media Asia is pretty skimpy on extras). The Story is about the survival of Hong Kongs degenerate society. Chow Yun Fat plays Jeff, bodygaurd at a local bar who getis into some trouble with a local loan shark. He is later double crossed by a gay psychopath (Simon Yam, who steals the show), on a job. He is shot, beaten and left for dead....only to regain his strength, and return to HK for revenge. Backed by it's gritty violence, great lighting, cock rock soundtrack, and bullet cam (my fave). This is Lam's answer to the growing Ultraviolence crave from HK. One of my ten best.

Summary: Excellent actioner, though not in the John Woo vein
Review: Very entertaining actioner, with a surprisingly low body count, though it is still an excellent action movie. The action is like a better, more refined version of many American movies. As for the story, it is a remake of Point Blank, staring Lee Marvin (also remade into Payback staring Mel Gibson), about a bouncer at an exotic dancing joint (not really a strip joint), who takes a job (read: thief one) for his friend to pay off a lone sh. Succeeds on all counts, and is very inventive with camera angles (especially the bullet cam). I should note as well that the Tai Seng release, which Amazon carries, is excellent. It is window boxed and has good picture quality.
