Rating: Summary: Great ending to a fantastic series Review: As per usual , audio and video quality of the 8 episodes contained on this last volume of Street Fighter II V are excellent. Concerning the story , I agree with other reviewers that the plot could have been reworked to allow all the characters a chance to develop sufficiently. But there is tons of actions and well-acted drama. One big problem is the constant re-use of footage from past episodes..but I guess they were on a tight budget. The music is fantastic ...to the skeptics, that j-pop music that plays during the dramatic scenes do work really well. Extras are decent , but they could have added more trailers or some conceptual sketches. And they should have left in the original intro and ending music...slag the techno remix!

Rating: Summary: STREET FIGHTER 2 V IS THE BOMB Review: If you haven't seen this on vhs and you like anime then I reccomend you getting this one.
Rating: Summary: S.F.IIV is awsome! Review: It is like they say, S.F. IIV is by far the best martial art anime based on a video game.Unfortunally most of the martial art anime base on video games aren't very accepted by the fans because it doesn't follow the same story line as they does in the game making it lose its bright in the anime businness.S.F. absolutelly passed the test although it is kind of different from the games story line. The animation for this anime is great and the action scenes are awsome.Buy it and see for your self that S.F. in anime can be the same as awsome and fun as in the video game.I was impress when I first watched it,it is by far one of the best fighting anime ever.
Rating: Summary: A good ending for a great series Review: Sreet Fighter fans will not be dissapointed after watching this series. It features great animation and unmatched action. While the story does lag at points, it isnt too bad. I higly recommend it to anybody that loves watching great action flicks. Plus you cant beat the amount of eps of the dvd. great job manga!
Rating: Summary: Better Than The Movie But Not Without Flaws Review: This series is based on the hit video game. It's 29 episodes long and spans four DVDs. The first three DVDs contain seven episodes each, and the fourth DVD contains eight episodes. Unfortunately, the DVDs has few extras. There are some anime DVD previews, info on other titles, links to Internet sites, and a remix of the theme song. The fourth DVD has a trailer for "Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie", which is unrelated to the V ("Victory") series. Also, the DVDs (at least my copies, which I watch on my computer monitor) have an annoying flaw. Whenever the camera shot changes, the very top and very bottom of the screen has static or something. The DVDs are bilingual. The English dub is mostly accurate, but there are many differences in the dialogue. My advice is to watch it in Japanese with English subtitles first and then in English. Sometimes, I like to watch DVDs in English with English subtitles. It allows me to easily see the changes in dialogue. The "Street Fighter II V" DVDs don't give you that option, but I'm able to do it using the DVD Player program on my computer. One big problem that I have with the audio is that the theme song has been changed in the Japanese audio track as well. Never mess with the original audio track! As for the series itself, it's a lot better than the movie. There is room for a lot of characters. Blanka fans will be disappointed. He doesn't appear. The series takes some creative liberties, such as making Ken, Ryu, and Chun Li teenagers, but that's fine. The series is mostly about Ken and Ryu, but Chun Li is also developed nicely. Unfortunately, the final episode is mostly about Ken and Ryu's battle with Bison, leaving only a small amount of time for the ending. Several plots go unresolved. Spoilers Ahead. Does Chun Li's father survive, or does he die? This is an important part of the plot, and we'll never get an answer. We don't even see Fei Long tell Chun Li that her father is in the hospital. Does Cammy come to Chun Li and admit that she tried to murder her father? The series wastes a large amount of time with redundancies. Each episode begins with a recap of the previous episode. After that, the final scene of the previous episode is replayed and leads into the current episode. At the end of each episode, there's a preview of the next episode. On the fourth DVD, half of one of the episodes consists of a recap of previous episodes. What was the point? Also, there are lots of instances of panning camera shots of still or nearly-still pictures; Ken and Ryu charging up their special attacks; and characters running around, trying to get someplace. Near the end of the series, I was thinking "They could've shortened this" every minute or so. One episode could easily have been trimmed from this series without any loss in plot or characterization - perhaps more. I'm guessing that the production team was trying to make more money with less animation. If even five minutes had been cut from the final episode (which could have easily been done), then they could have added Fei Long arriving on the island and telling Chun Li about her father, Chun Li at the hospital, Cammy talking with Chun Li, simultaneous funerals for Guile's friend Nash and Chun Li's father Dorai, and Ken being reunited with his parents. Instead, the only thing that's resolved is the threat of Bison. You'd think that, with 29 episodes, they'd be able to finish what they started. Overall, this is an enjoyable series, but Chun Li (and perhaps Cammy) fans will be disappointed with the ending.
Rating: Summary: Street Fighter II V Series Volume 4 Review: this series is so awesome!!!!!! by far one of the best anime fighter series of all time, if not the best period. I have seen the whole series on vhs and already have the first three volumes on dvd and can't wait to get 4, im already giving it a 4 stars beacuse i know it'll rock!!!! A must for all street fighter fans
Rating: Summary: A Sad Volume for a Series that had Potential Review: Volume 4 is the worst anime I've seen in the SFII series, and is almost entirely a waste of money. Aside from the first and last episode of this volume, original footage was scarce. I felt it was almost a rehashing of the story line from the last volume. I had to skip or fast forward alot of the material to keep interest. I found it very bad quality when in important scenes, such as where Ryu and Ken are about to fight, to be complemented by elevator music. Overall a very bad volume; with reasons stated above also the development of Ki for Ken was just awkward.

Rating: Summary: 8.5(rating for excitement) Review: Volume 4 of Street fighter II V is awesome...The animation is normal but the people are too tall and too bulky other than the video game and such...The action is very good and keeps you watching the series,at least every 5 minutes there is either action or something going on...The plot is good except the issue with Chunli, the series has much more blood and violence than SF2 the animated movie...I reccomend buying this if you like ninja stuff, action, dragonball z and so fourth.
