Rating: Summary: ONE OF CHUCK'S BEST!!!! Review: I am a big fan of ridiculous action movies as long as I am not bored..the more over the top, the better. This movie is better than Part 1 by leaps and bounds, and Billy Drago plays the bad guy perfect for this one. For the money, this is a great buy, forget Part 1, Part 2 is better purchase.
Rating: Summary: Delta-force-2 Review: I loved delta force 2 norris is in top form as he takes down a drug kingpin the drug lord is billy-drago he is in another norris film called invasion-usa. The action is better the cast is great john ryan is great too hes an army guy. The point to this movie is simple a drug dealer cant be taken down so they call in norris and the force the action is hot the stars are hot and the ending is fine it could be better but its good for me this one is a keeper and if you got time cheak out delta force 3 later.
Rating: Summary: Endurable. Review: I've never actually seen the original, but number 2 serves it's purpose excitingly enough. The action scenes are quite well handled, the pace goes at a suitable rythem and Chuck Norris is a brilliant action star. The only trouble is the real good bits are quite few and far between.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST /WORST MOVIE EVER! Review: Okay, let's be honest, Delta Force 2 blew like the wind in my shorts. Yet I have purchased this movie and watch it on a frequent basis. I like it because it so perfectly emulates the bad 80's action movie genre. From the gratuitous amounts of foriegner killing, to a Huey helicopter spewing massive amounts of rockets into a small village, this movie has everything that makes a bad movie great; including everyone's favorite drug lord, the one, the only, Billy Drago. Thanks for such a bad movie, Chuck!
Rating: Summary: No better villan than Drago. Review: The shoot em ups and karate scenes are great, but what makes this movie unique is the disturbing coldness of Ramone Coda (Billy Drago). I've seen it 10 times and I still get a sense of dread before watching it again (and again...)
Rating: Summary: One to see Review: This is a slick, well paced sequel to a superb original action movie. The engaging Chuck Norris returns as Col.McCoy in highly suited action mode, and Billy Drago is hissably sadistic and cruel as the wretched, slimy villain. The action, including the martial arts and explosions, are fabulous ,as are the inventive one-liners and photography of Latin America.A great film for Chuck to have entered the '90's with.
Rating: Summary: No surprises in this film strictly for die hard Norris fans Review: This Lackluster sequal to the "DELTA FORCE" and it basically fails because it repeats all the same action from the original and Lee Marvin was the missing link, without him the film just flopped. Chuck Norris is just going through what's left of his ailing career with this miserable installment as Norris leads his team of gun happy commandos to Latin America to take out a drug lord.
Rating: Summary: Lesson #2: Buy this DVD! Review: This movie hit me like a gut-punch! I expected a cheesy Rambo rip-off, but this was one of the greatest action movies ever! Ramon Cota is even more threatening than Hans Gruber from "Die Hard!" Hats off to Chuck Norris and Billy Drago. The fight choreography makes more recent action movies look like a Riverdance routine. I swear Chuck actually hit some guys making this movie!Do not forget to watch the "training circle" scene with DVD slow-motion. My only complaint was that the DVD wasn't letterboxed. A movie this good deserves a better presentation.
Rating: Summary: Two Words: BILLY DRAGO Review: This one was made in Cannon's last days. In fact, only Golan was left at this point. It's still Cannon all the way. As another reviewer stated, Delta Force 2-Operation Scrotumhold could have just as easily been Missing In Action 4, coz it follows the same formula. It's a solid, fun Norris actioner as you'd come to expect from a Cannon/Norris collaboration. What really made it especially fun for me was the appearance of Billy Drago as the villian. Though he was playing the stereotypical evil drug lord, he puts his own stamp on the role. Any fan of Billy Drago knows what I mean; He's the perfect villian. He's creepy, sinister and as sleazy looking as they get. If I made action films, I'd have to cast Billy Drago in at least one of them. The film's funniest moment has Chuck throwing Billy out of an airplane as a joke. This has to be seen to be believed, it's hysterical. The plot? Evil Colombian drug lord holds DEA agents hostage and basically terrorizes everyone. Naturally, the courts can't hold him, so Norris decides to rescue the agents and bring the drug operation to the ground. With the help of the Delta Force of course! This time, John P. Ryan takes the place of Lee Marvin as the trigger happy General, and he's quite amusing. Highly recommended if you like this sorta junk.
