Summary: A BAD JOKE BY A JERK FOR A REATARDED BLOKE!
Review: A blatant disrespect to audiences, there is a dyfunctional brain cancer from its producer of it all. It's real bad. There is one good movie from VAN DAMME when he starts out in HK. Why so much money wasted for a bad joke?! Avoid this at all costs.

Summary: Action Packed Movie!
Review: Although this movie wasn't nominated for an Academy Award it was still a good movie.Van Damme's pursuit of Mickey Rourke made for some good action sequences. Van Damme's escape from the secret island was also very unique. I also liked Dennis Rodman's role as an arms dealer. He still needs acting lessons. Van Damme's battle to find his lost wife and child also added to the plot. The fight sequence with the martial arts expert was very good. The ending of the movie was also action packed. His battle with Micker Rourke was better than I expected. All in all a good movie.

Summary: Rodman Freakshow meets Van Damme Muscle Hour
Review: An interesting teaming of Rodman & Van Damme. Rodman being the casually dangerous Arms Dealer with an unseemly fetish for body piercing, tatoo and other forms of pain. Oh, not too mention his Hypercolor hair & synthetic (literally) dress sense. Van Damme, playing the Super 007, who fails to take out the mastermind bad-guy, but then comes back from the dead to save his family (Awww, how sweet, and yet so unpredictable.) If you like seeing bullets, bikes, bad haircuts and bombs, then this movie is for you. If you are looking for a serious Van Damme flick then steer clear.

Summary: DOUBLE DESTRUCTION ...
Review: DOUBLE DESTRUCTION - This is how this movie should have been called. It destroys the basic theories of film-making... it destroys the last drops of good acting reputation Van Damme and ROurke still had ... It destroys the last drops of hope in action movies.. Everything is so bad here, that I laughed all the time..

Summary: Silly and Predictable
Review: For those who can't get enough of superstar basketball player Dennis Rodman, he stars in this vechicle as a weapons guru who teams up with Van-Damme to fight bad guy Rourke, which leads to all the obvious twists and turns. Aimed primarily at the legion of Rodman fans, who presumably don't care how predictable the whole thing is.

Summary: One of the best action film ever
Review: I have seen most action films made in hollywood since 80', but have never seen like this before. This film is an uncredible, miracle work. Intriguing plot, beautiful fight scenes, various camera works... whether you're an action fan or not, you HAVE TO see this one. I'll give a 6 out of 5.

Summary: It wasn't that bad the second time around.
Review: I just watched Double Team for the second time. Although I don't care for Van Damme personally, he is a great action movie actor. Although the reason I rented it again was because of Mickey Rourke. I don't watch his movies because of his acting, because we all know that stinks, but he's great eye candy. lol But to get back on the topic, I thought that Rodman was so funny in this movie, not much of an actor, but a geat sense of humor. And that's all I have to say about that.

Summary: The "No-Brainer" of all "No-Brainers"
Review: I know, I know, the script is horrid, as well as the acting. This movie may have one-liners taken straight out of a Bazooka Joe comic, but I just can help but be taken in with the action scenes. Tsui Hark is at his best here, (hes later at his worst with "Knock Off"). Call it a guilty pleasure, I guess. I still laugh with excitment when I watch the scene where Van-Damme runs into that Ninja in a hotel room.
