Rating: Summary: Very Funny Review: A good watch with friends but they must have a sense of humor and should be knowledgeable of the east coast flava. I enjoyed it although it had gratuitous use of the "N" word (as if Oriental people would call each other that but that is part of what makes it funny). Being from the east coast myself it was nice to get back up on the flava and the slang of home. "Boxcutta style baby, blade it up." To all who watch it "enjoy it son".

Rating: Summary: I AM HOOKT ON THIS SERIES! Review: I AM HOOKED ON THIS SERIES!...i accidentally found "Kung Faux" playing on this TV channel called "FUSE" on cable TV, which i think they also call "MuchMusic-USA", and i couldn't stop watching! i was laughing...and loved the music...i ordered the DVD because they play a "censored" version of the shows on TV with "bleeps" and red "censored" banners up on some of the scenes...and they advertised the DVD version as "uncensored" , which it is & makes "Kung Faux" funny on another whole different level...but the cool surprise was that it also had deleted scenes added back in that were cut from the TV show, as well as a "karaoke" function that you could use to mute the dialogue of the shows while keeping the music & sound effects...me & my friends bugged out on this for hours immitating the dialogue & we got off on seeing these little cool commercials that i haven't seen from companies like ZOOYORK and PONY featuring these guys doing all kinds of tricks on street-bikes as well as other cool stuff from the streetball guys- AND1 and other cool little short flix...This is my favorite show on TV now & i can't wait for the next DVD to come out...i will own them all eventually! Kung Faux Rules!
Rating: Summary: South Park, Jackass, & Kung Faux are Huge in New Zealand! Review: I just got back from an awesome trip to New Zealand and I am telling you that the Land of the Lord of the Rings is incredible, and one of the coolest things I saw out there was a tv channel called "C4" that has all of this cool music and my favorite tv shows on it like "South Park" and "Jackass" and a show I had never seen before called "Kung Faux". These shows are huge in New Zealand even though they are all Amercian made, and when I saw a commercial there advertising "Kung Faux" on dvd, I bought it the second I got back home to the states. Now if I could just get a tv channel here in the USA to play it on the regular I would be set. This show feakin' kills it. Please put it on tv in the USA!

Rating: Summary: INSTANT CULT CLASSIC* Review: I recently saw "Kung Faux : Volume 1" playing at the Sprite Remix Tour in Denver with that Neptunes / N.E.R.D group with Chad & Pharrell playing live. It was awesome! The minute I saw this crazy Kung Fu flick playing on the monitors with explosions going off and the voices of Guru and a bunch of other rapper's voices coming out of it, I knew I was watching an instant cult classic and had to have it. It's amazing how the new dubbing and music they added seem to fit so well. I can't think of watching it any other way now and I am dying for the next DVD to come out. My friend who is living in London said that Kung Faux is actually a TV series there on some channel called BRAVO-UK. I asked to him to tape the shows for me so I can get my fix , because this crazy stuff is addicting! I can't stop watching it because I see or hear something new every time I play it and it's the first thing my friends ask me to throw on the player whenever they come over. Now I am their Kung Faux fix.

Rating: Summary: ILLMASTER VS. BOXCUTTA Review: I wasn't sure if I was going to get my moneys worth when I when I ordered this dvd, because it said it only contained two episodes, but I liked the tv series so much, I said "what the hell" and took a chance. Now after watching it at least a hundred times and playing the karaoke game on the dvd until my ribs hurt from laughing so hard, I have to say that it is defintiely worth it. It's got this cool music video in the break between the two epiosdes and little ad spots for cool companies that I never heard of before until I watched this dvd, and now I am hooked on them too. You got to check out some of them like the hip hop honeys website and the and1 mixtapes! The dvd says approximately sixty minutes in running time, but if you are like me you will be hitting rewind so many times on the funny scenes you like, it will take you at least ninety minutes if not two hours to get through it each time. I wish more dvds made me want to watch them this much. It feels more like a video game when you get done watching it each time. You get that urge to hit "play" again the second the last scene fades from the screen. As for which episode I like better in this volume of "ill master"( episode #1) or "boxcutta" ( episode #2) it's a tie. Both of them together is what makes it work. The crazy old stoner over the slick young cat with the razorblade fist? It's all about personal style and they both got it going on for miles. Shoot I pay [$$$] sometimes for a music cd and sometimes those barely last over thirty minutes. You can hit the "no dialogue" feature on the karaoke game function and listen to this dvd like a soundtrack cd on your tv or computer, which for me alone makes it worth it. I can't wait until they put out a full blown "Best of Kung Faux" soundtrack or something like that, because it could be nothing but awesome! there is so much great music on this series. As you can probably tell, I am even more of a huge fan now, and you know what they say, "nothing ventured is nothing gained", so I say "get in it to win it".
Rating: Summary: kung faux Review: it's really funny but it has commercials, thats why it got 4 stars.
Rating: Summary: KUNG FAUX-VOLUME 1 Review: John Newlin, Editor-in-Chief of the coolest entertainment news magazine in San Francisco called the "Kung Faux" DVD series," the best thing ever!", and I would have to agree. This DVD is like nothing I have ever seen and I can't begin to explain it, it's totally unique! I cant wait for the next one in the series. "It rhymes with Gung-Ho, so act like you know!"
