Summary: Watchable, but still too cliched.
Review: Too much special effects, explosions, graphic techs. I just don't know why movie producers would produce so many video game alike movies today? Are they trying to create something that could be turned into videogames if this kind of movies might hit the jackpot of the boxoffice? This kinda movies are already too much to be absorbed or digested. Segal is too old for this kind movies now. But after watching what that robotic Keanu played in the "Hardball", Segal suddenly seems to become a better actor and more likable person.

Review: Well, watching the previews of this movie i thought this would be a good one to check out. I mean i personally enjoyed Exits Wounds which also starred Steven Seagal and i thought that this movie would be somewhat kool and engaging as the latter. Boy was i wrong...This movie starts off kinda suspesfully with the whole polygraph bit then shifts into high gear with a pretty cool driving scene. After words theres a kool action scene with jarule stubbornly fighting against the police. I thought to myself , this movie is starting off pretty good. But as the movie progressed, all the gun-action scenes started to get a little repetitive. Also, there wasnt enough fighting, not enough of Seagals style in here. The plot was kind of boring, too. It's your average psycho-path-holding-hostage-for-ransom kinda deal. Nothing new, nothing exciting. And jarule's badboy-wannabe act doesnt do much to liven the movie's unappealing story line. The only thing i did find amusing was Kurupt playing a wise-cracking inmate. That did enough for me to stay awake. All in all if you're looking for an interesting, appealing action packed movie, i suggest you stay away from this sleeper...

Review: WHILE I LOVE STEVEN SEAGAL MOVIES TO DEATH, I JUST GOTTA SAY THE WHOLE TRUTH ABOUT THIS MOVIE. SEAGAL IS AN OVERSIZED BIG GIANT. GRANTED HE'S INTIMIDATING BUT HE ALSO HAS SLOWED DOWN SINCE THE "ABOVE THE LAW" DAYS. AFTER BEING EMBARRASSED BY SEXUAL HARRASMENT CHARGES AND ALL SORTS OF CRAZY RUMORS ABOUT HIM, ITS NO WONDER SEAGAL STOPPED TREATING HIS BODY LIKE A BUDDHIST TEMPLE AND STARTED MUNCHING ON SOME DOUBLE WHOPPERS. THE STONE FACED HARD CORE KILLER IS NOT EXACTLY AT THE TOP OF HIS GAME THESE DAYS. SEAGAL LOOKS LIKE HE'S OUT OF BREATH FROM SIMLPLY SHOWING UP TO THE SET AND MANY OF HIS ACTION SCENES ARE LEFT TO HIS STUNT DOUBLE. THIS MOVIE IS AS LAZY AS SEAGAL IS LARDY. THE MOVIE TEARS INTO THE ART OF RIPPING OFF FROM OTHER MOVIES LIKE A JUNK YARD DOG. EVERYTHING FROM THE "ROCK" TO EVERY CHOP SOCKY FLICK U CAN THINK OFF. I WAS WAITING FOR A GOOD FIGHT SEQUENCE THAT WOULD REALLY GET ME PUMPED BUT THE ONLY TIME MY PULSE EVER SPED UP IS WHEN I SAW NIA PEEPLES ON SCREEN. THE SOUNDTRACK IS A MIXTURE OF HIP HOP AND ROCK ALTERNATIVE. JA RULE TURNS UP AND GETS THROWN AROUND IN A COUPLE OF FIGHT SCENES. I THINK HE LOSES EVERY ONE. IF U WANNA GOOD RECENT SEAGALL MOVIE CHECK OUT "BELLY OF THE BEAST". I GUESS THE ASIAN HONG KONG CREW REFUSED TO WORK WITH HIM UNLESS HE GOT INTO SOME KINDA SHAPE.

Review: Yeah I was wondering why so many people gave this movie negative scores. I mean theres nothing bad about this movie. Also Steven Seagal, Morris Chestnut, and Ja Rule did great in this movie. So if you like movies that have alot of action then this is the movie to watch.
