Summary: Not as Good as I had hoped
Review: I had Kill Bill recommended to me by almost everyone I knew who saw it. So naturally I was really hyped to see it when it came out on DVD (because I don't like paying $9.50 for a freaking movie viewing). The action scenes were good, but there were a few things that were just wrong with this movie. First there are the little things that were wrong it. For example, when Uma's character was flying to Japan, did anyone else notice that she was holding a 40 inch sword? WHILE ON AN AIRPLANE!? C'mon people I realize that this was suppose to be unrealistic, it is an action movie after all, but thats just stupid. Also, why does she magically have a sporty motorcycle with matching yellow custom fitted leather outfits, right after getting off the plane? Then there are the big things that were wrong that they kept doing over and over, like the blood. The blood was ridiculously overdone. When someones limbs and/or head was chopped off, a cartoonish, 3 or 4 foot gyser would erupt from the freshy inflicted wound. Stupid. And then not forget the random crap they just threw in for no apparent reason. Like the gross, sadistic, ugly looking 5 minute aimation scene in which Lucy Lui's parents are brutally murdered in front of her. Also, there are 3 fight scenes in the entire movie. One in the beginning, and a huge one at the end. The one in the middle is too short and is in anime. Stupid. The movie is just not well constructed. In between the beginning fight scene and the one in the end the movie is downright boring. It's filled with choppy storytelling and random flashbacks. Maybe it was just to overdone for me, but personally I didn't care for it much.

Summary: what a horrible movie
Review: this definitly was not tarintos best movie in fact it was easily his worst i love all of the other quentin movies but this one had suck a horrible plot it was like he just thought a plot so that he good have an excuse to have as much fun as he wants with the action all though i did like the japanese animation part that was very good but as far as the rest of the movie goes you would be much better off buying one of his older films throught out the movie i felt like i had seen this before sadly i cant recall where also i kept feeling like something was missing from the movie like it was a sequel to another movie or something.
Basically in the movie uma thurman wakes up from a coma that she was put into after her family was killed at her wedding
she kills the janitor who has been raping her while she has been in a coma then she goes finds one of the people who was at the wedding and help kill her family so she kills her then her daughter sees and uma thurman says she was not ment to see that she leaves the house goes to japan to kill another member there she goes to a place where she trains and is equipped with a sword then she goes and kills the jappanneese girl and that is the end of the first movieEveryone is sayiing this review is not helpful but you know what im being blankly honest the movie was terrible and if you dont like what i have to say im sorry im just trying to help people out there who are about to make a bad decision and buy this movie

Summary: Incredible Film Making, Crappy DVD
Review: The film itself is incredible, no other word to discribe it. Most that do not like the movie dont realize it for what it is, a tribute to the great movies that dominated the 70's. the reason this movie did not recieve a 5-star rating is simply because of the lack of extras. A 20 min. making of, some music videos, and trailers from Tarantino's other movies. How hard is it to add some deleted scenes? or record a commentary track (Tarantino has yet to do one for one of his 4 movies). Recomendation: Buy it.

Summary: New Levels of Gratuitous Violence
Review: While I certainly admire Tarantino's style as a filmmaker, this is a classic case of something filled with sound and fury signifying nothing. All style and absolutely no substance, it was like watching a two hour video game fight scene, with the gore setting turned on maximum. I suppose young boys (and yet to grow up college males) love this kind of mindless blood fest, but I just hated it. I really hated this movie.

Review: Against my better judgment I rented Kill Bill 1 last night - what a mistake! Talk about gratuitous violence! and his style is so pretentious that it makes me cringe...he's so cool man, cause he's, like you know, an auteur - and even Sonny Chiba and David Carradine are in it!
The thin as air plot is so lame that Chop Socki Tarentino has to resort to subtitles, cartoons, and voice-over's to help move it along. This isn't just a bad movie, it's a bad movie that is so conceited that it made me feel like a chump for watching it.

Summary: I watched the DVD today and it was...
Review: OK but not as impressive as the viewers claim. The actors don't even know how to hold a sword properly (not to mention posture) and that's a shame because even I can wield a sword much better than any of them. (I've been practicing Kendo for "only" 3 months.) What a shame that this is all they can do after rigorous training. Also the story didn't flow well due to bad editing. This film is all about watching cool stuff and nothing else. I'm aware that this is a post-modern film, exploiting some elements from films made in the past, but this film is not a good movie. P.S. France=England?? You all know that's not true. Then why China (Hong Kong)=Japan?? Tarantino doesn't certainly understand a thing about the differences between two.

Review: if you like this movie you might as have a bullet to your head. why put animation to a real-life movie? that was a bad mistake. i agree to that other person. i felt like i was watching a music video by Britney Spears when the chick in yellow clothes was fighting off those psychopaths with samurai swords. this movie did not only sucks but is a rip-off to other great movies and a rip-off to the people who pay to see this movie. dont be a schmuck in actually buying this movie. you can do better than that. see clint eastwood's old movies or bruce lee's movies. your better off watching those movies instead. cuz kill bill sucks. this class is over.

Review: Kill Bill is the typical american film. With lots of super special effects with lots of violence and with bad actors. But this is the kind of films that americans likes. I am upset because we are going to have 100 kill bill films. Thats the same that happend with good films like matrix 1 or terminator 1. There were good films. But they made another 2 films on the american way. They won millons of dolars but they ruined what it was a good story.Continue watching jack ass ,beavis and buthead. The mirrors of the american society schwarzenegger for president!!
