Review: I never got to see this movie in theaters, but when I rented it on video, it was better than I thought it would be. The humor was astounding when Joe wacked Bill Paxton across the head. The Special Effects were breathtaking, especialy when the ferris wheel tipped over. The acting was great as well as the storyline. I think MIGHTY JOE YOUNG is a movie the whole family can laugh and cry about. Believe me, this movie is an edge of your seat adventere.

Review: Fantastic special effects, nice happy ending but this could have been a lot more. Something is wrong if a movie makes Charlize Theron look plain, wastes Bill Paxton (this is the same guy who did Aliens?)or comes up with and Indian stereotype (like in Short Circuit) out of an actor like Naveen Andrews. Well, my six year-old son liked it and I did get misty eyed at the end. Not all Disney films have to have the flavour boiled out do they?

Summary: Great movie for everyone
Review: Disney just keeps getting better with thier movies. The special effects in Mighty Joe Young are done just as well as Jurassic Park. I didn't think I was going to like this movie, but I rented the DVD and loved it. Suprisingly, there is a feature on this DVD which contains interviews with some of the actors. Best of all, James Horner (Titanic, Mask of Zorro, Deep Impact) composed the music.

Review: This movie has everything in it: action, romance, comedy and even a little drama. I really enjoyed it and I actually cried. I cried for E.T. so I guess crying for a lovable yet playful gorilla is OK too. This movie is worth buying!!!

Review: Mighty Joe Young is an excellent family movie. 5 stars for everyone involved. No gore, no nudity, no vulgarity, but a film that gets your attention immediately and holds your attention till the very end. 5 starts - definitely a MUST SEE. Not only would I watch it again, but I'll buy it!!!
