Summary: BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN!
Review: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a fun filled action film. Harry's magical world has been brought to life from J.K. Rowlings talented work to the famous big screen. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through the movie. Harry Potter goes to Hogwarts for his 2nd year and finds that a secret (Chamber of Secrets) has been unleashed on Hogwarts. Mysterious dissapearances of Harry's friends. Who opened the chamber 60 years ago? Who opened it again? You will find out when you see this movie. If you are afraid of giant Snakes or Giant spiders I would caution you. This is a must have Harry Potter movie for your collection!

Summary: Best Movie Ever!
Review: This movie is much better than the first. The actors are into the movie and are not thinking about "how the heck am I in this movie" anymore. The suspense and action is increadable and the special effects are amazing. It feels like I'm watching a 30min movie when I watch this. I've seen it 5 times in theatres and I am getting the DVD tomorrow 4/11/03. I recommend this movie even though over 70% of the population of Region 1 has seen it. Great movie and I can't wait to get my hands on this DVD.

Summary: wonderfully MAGICAL!!!
Review: I'M VERY LUCKY TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET A COPY OF THIS DVD AHEAD OF A LOT OF PEOPLE AND I MUST SAY THAT THE MOVIE (BOTH THIS ONE & THE 1ST) ARE PURE MAGIC!!! HARRY POTTER RULES!!! IT JUST ALWAYS TRANSPORTS ME TO THAT KIND OF MAGICAL WORLD WHERE EXCITEMENT IS ALWAYS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!!
THE CASE IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE 1ST MOVIE & AT LEAST YOU DON'T HAVE TO KEEP ON PLAYING WIZARD GAMES ANYMORE TO GET TO THE DELETED SCENES (19 ALL-IN-ALL --- MY FAVE IS THE ONE WHEN HARRY SEES THE MALFOYS INSIDE BORGIN & BURKES) UNLIKE THE 1ST DVD ALTHOUGH IT'S REALLY UNFORTUNATE THAT, LIKE THE DVD OF THE 1ST MOVIE, YOU'D HAVE TO HAVE A DVD-ROM TO ACCESS OTHER FEATURES BUT THE ONES YOU CAN GO TO USING AN ORDINARY DVD PLAYER ARE REALLY ENOUGH TO KEEP YOU GLUED TO YOUR SCREEN FOR HOURS AS I HAVE, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT MOVIE!!!

Summary: Harry Pottter is Ok
Review: ...I saw the movie and thought it was silly and Disney-esque ---bland and unimaginative, as opposed to the excellent children's stories by C S Lewis, who knew more about children than Disney or whatshername (whoever wrote those Harry Potter things) ever did. That's because Lewis knew that children are very well aware of that fact that monsters are bad and only female witches ride broomsticks.

Summary: Wonderful Movie
Review: Again Harry Potter has hit the top of my list. (This coming from a 17 year old female) Anyways, the movie did lack certain scenes and interactions from the book. But overall the screenwriters did a nice job of pulling the movie together. This movie I would not reccomend to younger viewers, it had many a small child crying in theaters when a Basilisk reared it's magnificent, but terrifying head. Overall this movie was quite a thriller and a great new addition to my growing Potter collection.

Summary: Actually stinkier than you thought
Review: When the dvd of this movie ended, I looked over at my house guests and we all made the same gesture. You know, where you hold your hand out and kind of move it like a teeter-totter. In other words, "so-so".

So where did it go wrong? Well, I never was blown away by the book series. It's dang good, don't get me wrong. I have nothing but high respect for my fellow woman's libber, J.K. Rowling. She is one of my heroes, even if she is a single mother. But I know I'll never be as rich as her, no matter how many fantastic books I've written. And those who know me, know I'm responsible for quite a few.

The kids in this movie do a wonderful job bringing these characters to life. But they're all too old for the parts, which is not their fault, rather the fault of some bonehead Hollyweird producer. The special effects are first rate, too, and a feast for the eyes. But I guess there just seems to be too much polish on this, whereas something like The Dark Crystal or Neverending Story Trilogy has a bit of you-know-what (HINT: it's yellow!) and vinegar.

But hey, it's entertainment! But I think they should stop the series, it's getting old.

Summary: I was disappointed terribly
Review: After all the hype about Harry, I decided to check out one of the movies for myself and was dreadfully disapointed by this movie. After all, nothing could possibly be as good as all the nonsense around Harry Potter claimed it to be. Only buy if you know what you're getting into.

Summary: This is great movie
Review: I've seen the movie in fact I've bought a local CD of the movie. but I intend to make a long time collection of this series so that I can share it with my children and maybe grandchildren. That's why I still ordered the DVD from amazon.com.

It is a nice movie to watch with my family. We can discuss it and share the great experience. The movie, though so many interesting parts been omitted from its original story, still have a great fun with lots of laughter to share and some emotional parts that one would prefer to watch it alone. It pull lots of emotions from the audience, the joy, suspense, irritated, superior, pity, fun etc. out of us.

My children love it and I hope they could learn emotions and the facts of life that lies behind each of the characters.

Summary: The first one was better
Review: I've never read any of the books but I thought the first movie was better. This dragged on a little at parts but was still fun. One thing I didnt understand was how did all the Weasleys and Harry and all the luggage fit into their little car. Looking forward to the other movies.

Summary: Harry Potter Rules the Screen Once Again!
Review: Film makers have always had one thing in mind, make a great movie. I think that Chris Columbus has accomplished this and has brought the dazzling world of Harry Potter to life. When I saw the Sorcerer's Stone, I admit I was impressed, but when I saw the Chamber of Secrets I had to see it three times and I still couldn't get enough! Columbus, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and the rest of the cast really outdid themselves this time! Although we are all devastated by the death of Richard Harris (Albus Dumbledore) his legacy will live on. I give this wondrous film 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! I hope that The Prisoner of Azkaban will prove that even perfection can be perfected. I can't wait to see this dazzling cast's work once again on the big, silver screen...especially, Daniel Radcliffe as Harry!!!
