Summary: a wonderful movie!
Review: I have loved this movie since very early child when it first came out in 1986. I spent a small fortune renting it, and finally got my own copy. Unfortunately, that copy was ruined, and I cannot find a new one. Having the Labyrinth out of print is a horrible thing and I think that something really should be done about it to calm the die-hard Labyrinth fans and to start a new generation of them.

Summary: A movie you never get tired of!
Review: Lots and lots of recent reviews on Amazon, all of them glowing, and the movie house has allowed this to go out of print? WHAT?

I practically memorized this movie when I was seventeen, and at age thirty I recently saw it again for the first time in a decade--and it is just as fabulous as ever.

I love how every time I see it I notice something else--like the milk bottles on the doorstep of the Goblin Castle (over to the left). Little details like that demonstrate the overwhelming care that went into making this movie.

And how many movies can boast of having a subtext as deep and complicated as "growing up" without it being contrived and pretentious? The genius of this movie is how it manages to be so thoroughly entertaining while--practically unnoticed--it is imparting immortal advice.

Summary: AN IDEA TO GET IT CIRCULATING
Review: Okay, this is a bad thing to do. But I think we'd all agree we are desperate. Somebody has a copy of this wonderful movie and can copy it and send it out there. Just a naughty suggestion

Summary: Magic!
Review: Ever since I was a little girl I loved this movie. It is such a well done fantasy film that I still enjoy. And David Bowie---- wow! That scene where Jennifer C and him dance makes my heart flutter. I've been trying to get this for years but it's not anywhere! I haven't even been able to rent it. I look forward to a wide screen edition. It's like the Wizard of Oz, timeless and spellbinding, and perpetually enchanting.

Summary: What's not to love??
Review: I bought this movie when it first came out. Not too long after that I got Legend and Ladyhawke and may I say that my fantasy collection is complete. Everyone I have ever met loves Labyrinth and wants a copy so how do I get extras to pass around?? All I can say is RERELEASE NOW! I rarely play mine now because I'm scared that it might get killed. So I need extras. Got several to spare?

Summary: Magical and unforgetable
Review: I grew up watching this movie and was always entranced by its magic and beauty. Who can forget the "dream ball", the endless hall of stairs, or Bowie's general fabulousness? The creators had some of the most poetic imaginations in the film industry and films like this are just not made anymore. Why only four stars then? Because so much sexual tension gets built up between Sarah and the Goblin King and it never, never gets released! It's so frustrating! Ditch the litle brat and stick with Bowie you silly girl!

Summary: Please re-release this excellent movie!
Review: This movie is a must see; a classic. It's the best of it's genre. It's for kids, grownups, David Bowie fans, Jim Henson fans, anyone who likes fantasy and/or appreciates good movies! Does that seem excessive? Well, it's not! A good story well told, with great acting, beautifully filmed and with (of course) a wonderful sound track. I've been trying to get a copy of it for years, and can't understand why it's out of print, and why it hasn't been re-released. If anyone has a copy that they'd like to sell, they sure aren't telling me! I'll just close by echoing the sentiments of everyone else who's reviewed this movie; if you havn't seen it, see it. If you can find a copy, get it.

Summary: "It reminds me of the power" "what power?" this power!!!
Review: AAAH! What is there to say about the best film ever?!?!? Look at the other ratings!!! FIVE STARS!!! And it deserves it. Chalked full of Henson creatures and ingenuity, it is not only for the kids this time. The songs are great, as are the costumes. "Dance a little dance" has such a great tune, it's hard to resist dancing to it! The effects are old, but it's cute how the characters can be ringed in a little black line or show the feet of a puppeter. There are beautiful and strange garments worn by the humans, and the makeup is wild. You just have to love a movie this orignal in scenery and rich in plot. Go get it!!! And someone re-release it!!!

Ok now that I have your attention Please re-release this movie after 3 kids my copy is worn out and I cannot possible dream of not having access to this extraordinary piece of engenious film.
